She Eats Clean
In a 2019 interview with Women Fitness, Demi revealed that her "fitness mission" was to continue eating clean on the weekend. "I used to always seem to fail on the weekend especially after a night out, so therefore I'm trying my hardest to not let myself down and binge just because it's the weekend!" she said.
She Exercises
Demi works out regularly, starting out with cardio and moving onto weights. "My usual warm up when hitting the gym is going on the running machine for 10-15 minutes or on the cycling machine, it is important to warm up your muscles if you're about to lift weights," she told Women Fitness.
She Fuels Up in the Morning
Demi eats a healthy and hearty breakfast. "My morning meal would be 1 slice of toast with 2 scrambled eggs on top. If I fancy something lighter I would have Greek yogurt with a handful of muesli on top. It would be banana, raspberries and blueberries lightly covered in some honey," she revealed.
She Is All About Cheat Meals
Demi eats healthy most of the time but indulges on occasion. "I do think it's important to have a cheat meal once a week because your body will crave it so badly otherwise, but don't go overboard with it and have a whole cheat day including breakfast, lunch and dinner, I would recommend just choosing one of the 3 for the cheat meal," she told Women Fitness.
These Are Her Top 3 Components of Health
According to Demi, there are three components of health. The first? Diet and vitamins. The second is getting enough sleep. And finally, drinking enough water. "It may seem obvious that sleep is beneficial. Even without fully grasping what sleep does for us, we know that going without sleep for too long makes us feel terrible, and that getting a good night's sleep can make us feel ready to take on the world," says Harvard Health. "Scientists have gone to great lengths to fully understand sleep's benefits. In studies of humans and other animals, they have discovered that sleep plays a critical role in immune function, metabolism, memory, learning, and other vital functions."
