WOW!! what an incredible memory to look back on!! This Then and Now brings back such nostalgia…I wore this suit back in the ‘90s while shooting my TV show!! How many of you remember watching??? THEN and NOW!!!!” she captioned the Instagram post. How does she stay so fit? 1. She Works Out in 10-Minute Increments

Denise has a number of tricks to keep herself in tip top shape. One is that she works out in ten-minute increments. “If you can do 10 minutes of working out at a time and do that three times a day, you will have worked out 30 minutes in one day,' noted the star in her charming easy-to-relate-to manner,” she told Daily Mail.

2. She Moves All Day

Denise stays active all day long. “It is all about blood circulation and moving. I even stand up and walk in place when I watch TV just to keep it flowing,” she told Daily Mail. “The consistency pays off.”

3. She Walks

One of Denise’s primary methods of exercise is walking. “It is a healthy way to feel better and improved mood and sleep. Exercise is the best pre-meditative medicine,” she told Daily Mail. “I like to exercise to feel good. I feel energetic after a walk, the endorphins get going and flow, it helps with stress and anxiety and pent-up feelings.”

4. She Prioritizes Posture

“Not many people think about posture these days, but if you stand up straight you pull in your stomach muscles and you are really working out without working out, so I would say that is one of my best tips, because it requires minimum effort but offers maximum results if you do it often,” Denise added to Daily Mail.

5. She Pays Attention to Portion Size

Denise also pays attention to the size of her meals. “I eat smaller portions,” she told Daily Mail. “For dinner I may have salmon and veggies. A snack is flax seed with yogurt. I love avocadoes and eggs for breakfast.” She also prepares her own meals. “I cook really healthy for my family. There are a lot of salads, chicken tacos, vegetable lasagnas, casseroles with less cheese.”

6. She Follows the 80/20 Rule

Denise eats healthy but allows herself to indulge on occasion. “I eat well 80 percent of the time and the other 20 percent I am bad,” she confessed to Daily Mail. "We probably know that we should not have too many foods or drinks that are high in saturated fat, salt and sugar such as chocolate, cakes, biscuits, pastry, crisps and fried chips. If you include these, try to keep portion sizes small," says the British Nutrition Foundation.

Jamie Otis, the influencer, author, podcaster, and reality star, is looking forward to the warmer weather. Otis celebrated Memorial Day Weekend, and posted a stunning new reel on Instagram. In it, Otis walked in a desert canyon. She wore a black bathing suit, showing off her body. She captioned the reel, “This weekend marks the beginning of summer.☀️ We all have body hair, stretch marks, cellulite, and rolls…Wear the suit and go enjoy yourself.👙😎🏝.” How does she stay so fit? Read on to see 5 ways Jamie Otis stays in shape and the photos that prove they work—and to get beach-ready yourself, don't miss these essential 30 Best-Ever Celebrity Bathing Suit Photos!

1. She Embraces Her Body

Otis is proud of her body, and she wants people to know it. She talks about self-love and body positivity on a lot of her Instagram posts, including her most recent Memorial Day reel. “We all have body hair, stretch marks, cellulite, and rolls,” Otis wrote. “Wear the suit and go enjoy yourself.”

2. She No Longer Takes “Before & After” Photos

One thing Otis is doing to help herself stay confident is not taking “before and after” photos for social media, especially after having her two kids. She revealed her explanations for doing this in this reel. “I'm never taking a degrading "before" pic again. It's just not for me anymore. After having my first rainbow baby, my goal was to fit into my pre-pregnancy clothes asap. It was never about health. It's taken me decades to learn that I'm more than my pant size & the number on the scale doesn't define me. Halle-freakin-lujah.

3. She Went On A Cleanse

Otis revealed in this reel that she was about to make a lot of changes to her diet and lifestyle. “Today I am cutting out gluten, dairy, alcohol, and extra sugars bc my skin has been so red and dry,” she explained. “It's like my body has been screaming at me to take better care of it. I've got that eczema on my eyelids, dandruff and itchy scalp, and just ya know, no energy & always feeling physically & mentally drained.”

4. She Worked Out While She Was Pregnant

Otis made sure to get workouts in while she was pregnant. On her website, she explained her reason for doing so. “I am committed to staying strong and healthy for me and my rainbow baby. I know that the first half of my pregnancy was a struggle, but I’m getting back on track (and writing this blog/putting it out into the world is my way of holding myself accountable)!”

5. She Opened Up About Her Struggles

In 2019, a controversial “Heartbeat Bill” was passed in some states, which would limit access to abortions, with Alabama banning them completely. When this happened, Otis wrote a guest piece for People about her own abortion, wanting to let others know they weren’t alone, and to reduce the stigma. “I know I’m going to get backlash for opening up about my past. Like I said, my abortions still torment me and I hate that I had to have them. However, am I thankful? Of course. I wouldn’t be able to be a good mother to my daughter right now or have been able to be a good parent to my siblings back then. The cycle continues because there’s not enough education about sex and birth control, and not enough support. There’s not enough constructive discussion about abortion. It sucks. It really sucks. But the truth of the matter is it is a necessary option.”

1. She Does Acupuncture

Kristin does acupuncture regularly. “I've been seeing the same guy once every 2 weeks for almost 20 years. I consider him my most central care provider. I do believe in the circuits of energy that acupuncture is all about, and I can honestly say that every issue I've ever had, acupuncture has helped with,” she told WebMD. “If nothing else, acupuncture forces you to simply take a few moments to lie down and relax, and there's a lot of good in that, too."

2. She Exercises

Krisitn-Davis2Kristin Davis/Instagram

Kristin does various workouts. “I do a few kinds of cardio -- mostly I hike in the hills in Los Angeles, and I do the elliptical. I also do some of the Tracy Anderson dance workouts on my own -- mostly her series of arm moves. That workout is intense but crazy effective," she told WebMD.

3. She Adapts Her Approach to Exercise As She Ages

Kristin has changed her workouts over the years. "For instance, I used to do double [indoor cycling] sessions and I had thighs like a body builder to show for it! And then when I started doing more dance-based stuff I really didn't recognize my body -- in a good way," she told WebMD.

4. Baths Are Part of Her Self-Care Routine

Kristin is a “bath person all the way,” she told Self. “I'm a bath person because (1) I'm a Pisces and (2) My back is killing me most of the time. I want to just lie there in a hot bath. It doesn't happen very often, but when it does, it's awesome.”

5. She Believes in “Everything in Moderation”

Kristin-DavisKristin Davis/Instagram

“It's not particularly sexy but I do think that everything in moderation is the way to go. I've never been into the intense diets or other extreme fads. My body is just too sensitive for that," Kristin told WebMD about her approach to diet. What are her guilty pleasures? "Oh, I love chocolate. I love pizza. Cookies. Ice cream. I kind of hate salad. Left to my own devices, I would eat like a 10-year-old kid. At work when it's late and there's pizza, it's all over."

Chanelle Hayes is a lot of things. She’s a reality star who competed on the popular series, Big Brother. She’s also a model, singer, and businesswoman. 1. She Stays Active With Her Kids

Hayes posted a photo on Instagram showing the difference between her active lifestyle and her inactive one. Hayes revealed in the caption that her active lifestyle involves doing a lot of activities with her kids. “Last weekend I took the kids trampolining, next week we are going swimming.”

2. She Bikes

Yellow,Bicycle,On,Leaf,Wall,Background,,Vintage,StyleShutterstock

In the same photo on Instagram, Hayes says that she is also an avid biker, and she likes to bike with her son. She writes, “In the left pic, I sat sweating due to my excess body weight watching my son play football. In the right, I had just beaten him at a race of the Monsal trail, so I was sweating for the right reasons!” Hayes continues, “I wasn’t in any agony after this bike ride, I was starving, but pain free. So I finished off with a nice Caesar salad and a side of “smug” from winning the race.”

3. She Doesn’t Use Filters

Hayes posted a photo on Instagram of her body looking two different ways. She revealed that she is the same weight in both photos, but used airbrushing and filters in one photo. Hayes writes that she’s working to accept her body in its natural state, and isn’t using filters on social media. She writes, “Although I still don’t love the look of it and would like to change bits of it- I accept that it’s the real me. It scares me that some of the pictures we post online are so unlike the real us, we wouldn’t actually recognise each other in the street without the editing or filters. At least you know if you see a rough saggy old bird with a flat butt it’s actually me and not that unrecognisable species on the left lol. Also I much prefer the Matalan basics set on the right instead of all those fiddly bits on the fancy sets.”

4. She Doesn’t Eat A Restrictive Diet

In a post on Instagram detailing her weight loss, Hayes revealed what she eats in a day. She also says that she isn’t on any restrictive diets, and feels like they work better for her. She writes, “I feel satiated and full after such small amounts now I never feel like I’m missing out because that gnawing hunger of being on a diet isn’t there. I have noticed that a year on I can definitely eat more than a year ago but my level of restriction differs on a day to day basis.”

5. She Embraces Her Body

Hayes is known for being a body-positive activist, and shares posts on social media about self-love and acceptance. In one post, Hayes posed in a bikini, and encouraged her followers to embrace their bodies for what they are, and not to worry about a “bikini body.” She writes, “After years of hating my body for being too big, it’s now small enough that my skin looks saggy and baggy. I have four boobs because my implants are in one place and my actual skin and breast tissue are in another. I have stretch marks on practically every area of my body, cellulite is my constant companion no matter how big or small I may be at any given time. I didn’t love the look of my body then and I don’t love the look of my body now, but I DO love taking care of my body and the confidence that comes with being healthy. I’m never going to look like the airbrushed images of people online, but does that mean I don’t have a bikini body? No. So I wanted to share my tips with you guys on how to get a “bikini body”: 1. Get a body. 2. Put a bikini on it Voila! You have yourself a bikini body.”

Mariana Morais is showing off her ab-fab figure – in a two-piece exercise set. In a new social media post, the fitness influencer flaunts her fantastic figure in a brown sports bra and leggings. “Self Progress & Development is not always linear. Sometimes we take steps back & that’s just a sign to course correct so we can leap forward. If 2024 wasn’t the year you expected, use it as an opportunity to learn, grow, & carry on. It’s you VS you - continue to try, focus on consistency > perfection & you will prevail 🤎 rooting for us all to strengthen our mind & bodies this year,” she captioned the series of Instagram snaps. How does she approach diet, fitness, and self-care? Here is everything you need to know about her lifestyle habits.

Strength Training

Mariana relies on old-school strength training to keep her body toned. “Training till failure instead of reps + taking my ab routine up a notch by incorporating weighted exercises,” she wrote about one of her workout tactics. “I can feel my muscles being challenged and am in tune with my movements.” According to the Mayo Clinic, strength and weight training help reduce body fat, preserve and increase lean muscle mass, and burn calories more efficiently. Strength training may also help you:

  • Develop strong bones
  • Manage your weight
  • Enhance your quality of life
  • Manage chronic conditions
  • Sharpen your thinking skills

Prioritizing Digestion and Getting Blood Work Done

Other healthy habits? “Prioritizing digestion,” she writes in the same post. “Making sure I get enough fiber & starting off every morning with a juice cleanse. This has helped me feel so much better everyday.” She also gets regular blood work done. “So important to check your levels and know what’s going on in your body routinely! Don’t skip the doc apts, always better to be preventative.”

Hiking

Mariana enjoys hiking. “Elevation therapy,” she captioned a post from one of her fitness adventures. According to the National Parks Service, the physical benefits of hiking include:

  • Building stronger muscles and bones
  • Improving your sense of balance
  • Improving your heart health
  • Decreasing the risk of some respiratory issues

Mariana does reformer Pilates. “POV: Stepping into the prettiest torture chamber,” she wrote across a video of herself at the studio. Why is Pilates a good workout? According to the Mayo Clinic, the workout has many benefits, as it “strengthens the body's inner core while increasing its flexibility, resulting in improved overall health.” It can also promote longer, leaner muscles, injury prevention, stress and back pain relief, enhanced athletic performance, and heightened mind-body awareness.

Emsculpt NEO

Mariana recently got an aesthetic body treatment, Emsculpt NEO. “I’ve heard all the rage about the benefits to spot reducing fat & toning muscle so I had to give it a try to target those pesky lower abs. It was a 10/10 & a great addition to my workout routine,” she wrote.

She’s Consistent

Last year, Culpo was preparing for her wedding. She told E! News that she made sure to be consistent with her wellness in order to prepare. “Really trying to dial in [on] what I eat, how I workout, the workouts that I do. Trying to get them in consistently because you only get married once and I want to feel my best. But this past season it was just hard being so far away from my normal routine and where I typically live."

She Keeps Her Skin Healthy While Traveling

Culpo has amazing skin, and she makes sure to take care of it, even while traveling. “I don't wear any makeup when traveling," she says to Travel + Leisure. "That's one rule because I do feel like you will have a higher chance of breaking out if you are wearing a full face of makeup. A few things I always have with me is some sort of a spray. I love Dr. Barbara Sturm or Caudalie or La Mer. I also absolutely love traveling with a makeup wipe, the Neutrogena wipes are great. Something to just take off the sweat you build up.”

She Keeps Her Skincare Simple

Culpo shared her skincare routines with Byrdie. She says that she keeps her morning and night routine simple. “I am always trying out new products, so what I gravitate toward is often changing. At night, I usually use an oil and a serum. Right now, I love the Clarins Double Serum. In the morning, I use a Vitamin C serum and an SPF, and, typically, I just rinse my skin with warm water instead of using a cleanser. It is something I swear by—it allows for the oils on my skin from sleeping to absorb naturally.”

She Uses Products With Vitamins

Culpo shared some of her favorite skincare products with Byrdie. She says that she uses ones that have vitamins in them. “I have noticed a huge difference in my skin with vitamin C and E. I love the Good Janes H2OMyGod Moisturizer—it's sort of an all-in-one moisturizer that has vitamin C and collagen peptides. As for vitamin E, I actually just purchase the oil from the drugstore. It is super cheap and great to put on any red marks I may get from an occasional breakout. The healing process is so much quicker when I am using Vitamin E oil.”

She Packs Healthy Snacks

Culpo makes sure to eat healthy. She shared some of the snacks she packs with her with Travel + Leisure. "I love the Kind bars. I love any sort of nuts, to be honest with you. They are a go-to snack for me. I would say Peroni Nastro Azzurro 0.0% and some almonds would be perfect! Also, electrolytes to stay hydrated or some sort of collagen beauty powder or something."

Abigail Ratchford’s amazing body has helped her become one of the most famous models on the internet. The 32-year-old, who boasts over 9.1 million followers on Instagram alone, attributes her measurement-defying body to a few simple habits. Here is everything she does to stay fit at 32.

She Follows 4 Diet Rules

Abigail swears that abiding by simple rules helps her stay in shape. “I can’t diet. That just doesn’t work for me,” she told New Beauty. “I started to be healthier by first cutting out soda. Then, I stopped eating after 7 p.m. Finally, I started really watching my portions so I was eating fewer calories every day. And water—lots and lots of water.”

She UsesMyFitnessPal

Abigail explains being accountable for what she eats is crucial. While it’s not “rocket science,” she does use the MyFitnessPal app to track her eating. “I’m the type of person who likes to eat what I want. The app can help anyone do that—you can still eat great food, you just eat less of it,” she added New Beauty.

Pilates

Abigail is a fan of Pilates. “Group workout classes are so big right now, but I always get nervous around other people in settings like that. I have to go at my own pace without a bunch of distractions so, for me, Pilates with a one-on-one instructor works best. It’s not cheap, but then you also aren’t tempted to skip,” she said She added to Men’s Fitness via Muscle & Fitness that the workout “keeps you long and lean” — and the Mayo Clinic agrees.
