Indian actress Diana Penty has all eyes on her as she models some new swimwear. Penty, 37, shared a reel of herself posing in a beautiful bathing suit top and peachy-pink skirt, for what looks like a very glamorous photoshoot. “Everything is better in slow-mo,” she captioned the shot. How does she stay so fit? Read on to see 5 ways Penty stays in shape and the photos that prove they work—and to get beach-ready yourself, don't miss these essential 30 Best-Ever Celebrity Bathing Suit Photos!

1. Big Foodie

Penty refuses to diet, instead focusing on a balanced diet with occasional indulgences. “I'm a big foodie and I just cannot diet!” she says. “Breakfast is usually a platter of fruit along with a cup of tea followed by eggs,” she says. “Lunch is never complete without rice, dal, chicken curry and veggies. I usually keep my dinner light—roast chicken with a salad or boiled vegetables. My one guilty indulgence is chocolate. Promise me a Dutch truffle cake, and I will move mountains!”

2. No Cardio

Penty prefers strength training to cardio. “My fitness regime at the moment is pretty simple,” she says. “I was doing Pilates a couple of months ago. Now I’ve switched it to light weight training and strength regime intentionally. I don’t do too much cardio, because I lose weight very quickly. So it’s just weight and strength training.”

3. Skincare and Haircare

Penty never goes to bed without removing her makeup. “No matter how exhausted I am, I never skip my nighttime routine,” she says. “I usually use mild make-up removal wipes followed by a gentle face wash. My skin tends to get dry sometimes, so I need a moisturizing night cream. For my hair, I have realized the importance of conditioning only in the last few years, so I make sure I condition my hair at least twice or thrice a week.”

4. Healthy Lifestyle

While Penty has never struggled with weight gain, she knows health is about much more than the numbers on a scale. “I’ve always tried very hard to gain weight since I was very young,” she says. “But either way, it’s important to work out regularly, eat healthy. Be conscious of your diet to whatever extent possible. It’s about maintaining balance. Keep hydrated all the time and just live a healthier lifestyle.

5. Walking Everywhere

Penty loves walking as much as she possibly can, especially when she’s traveling. “Physical activity doesn't need to be complicated,” says the Mayo Clinic. “Something as simple as a daily brisk walk can help you live a healthier life. You can also alternate periods of brisk walking with leisurely walking. This type of interval training has many benefits, such as improving cardiovascular fitness and burning more calories than regular walking. And interval training can be done in less time than regular walking.”

Paulina Porizkova is one of the most successful models of all time. She’s still showing off her body on social media at age 57. In a recent Instagram post, Porizkova posed in a leopard print bikini. In the caption, she talked about what she has learned growing up in the spotlight. Read on to see 5 ways Paulina Porizkova stays in shape and the photos that prove they work—and to get beach-ready yourself, don't miss these essential 30 Best-Ever Celebrity Bathing Suit Photos!

1. She Calls Out Double Standards

Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Celebrates 2019 Issue Launch At SeaSpiceJohn Parra/Getty Images

Porizkova is known for being very outspoken on Instagram. She talked about double standards in society in this post. She wrote, “Athletes versus models. Both start their careers very young. Both make large amounts of money based on their physicality - in direct proportion to the demand - for their service. Both need to keep themselves in prime physical shape. Both jobs are physically and sometimes emotionally painful. Both careers end when most others just come into their best. Both are a celebration (or objectification) of the human body. Both demand sacrifices in personal lives. Both are used for your entertainment and to sell you products. One highlights mostly men, the other mostly women. And as they start aging out of their careers, if they refuse to give up quite yet - one gets applauded and is seen as heroic, and the other shamed as pathetic.”

2. She Goes To The Beach

rag & bone Celebrates The Spring CampaignCraig Barritt/Getty Images

Porizkova loves to spend time outside. One place she loves to go is the beach. She posted this photo of herself in Costa Rica on Instagram. She captioned it, “It’s been a wonderful week in Costa Rica, filled with sun, jungle, ocean, pool, long dinners, lots of books read, and of course, the antics of George the monkey.”

3. She Calls Out Haters

2018 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue Launch CelebrationGilbert Carrasquillo/FilmMagic

Porizkova is not afraid to call out social media haters. She did so in this Instagram post.“A woman of 57 is ‘too old’ to pose in a bikini - no matter what she looks like. Because ‘Old’ is ‘Ugly.’ I get comments like these every time I post a photo of my body. This is the ageist shaming that sets my teeth on edge. Older men are distinguished, older women are ugly. People who believe prettiness equals beauty do not understand beauty.”

4. She Embraces Age

Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Hosts "SI Swimsuit On Location" At Ice Palace - Day 2John Parra/Getty Images

In the same Instagram post, Porizkova says that she is embracing her age. “To perceive beauty you have to be able to SEE. This is why I believe we get more beautiful with age. We have earned our beauty, we understand what it is, and we can see it so much better. There is no such thing as ugly and old. Only shortsighted and ignorant.”

5. She Intermittent Fasts

Porizkova says that she likes to intermittently fast as a way to stay in shape. She explained her process on Instagram. “You don’t eat for 16 hours and then you eat for eight,” Porizkova said. “I generally take it as I eat whatever I want for eight hours because I like food, but I also kind of tend to like more healthy food.”

She shared these photos on Instagram of herself walking on 23rd Street in New York City. Cifuentes captioned the post, “Keep walking.” She also shared these photos of herself in Washington Square Park, captioning it, “Winter.”

3. She Savors Her Happiness

Cifuentes is all about feeling happy. She makes sure to savor the moments. Cifeuentes talked about this in the caption of this Instagram post. “What is good today, may not be tomorrow,” she writes. “There is the value of the moment, there is the perfect present. The opportunity comes to you, you'll see if you ride it. Hold on tight, don't let go. Laugh... Weeps that each one has his time. Laugh... Cry, live your life, enjoy it all.”

4. She Gets Her Vitamin D

"Vitamin D isn't naturally found in many foods, but you can get it from fortified milk, fortified cereal, and fatty fish such as salmon, mackerel and sardines. Your body also makes vitamin D when direct sunlight converts a chemical in your skin into an active form of the vitamin (calciferol)," says the Mayo Clinic. "The amount of vitamin D your skin makes depends on many factors, including the time of day, season, latitude and your skin pigmentation. Depending on where you live and your lifestyle, vitamin D production might decrease or be completely absent during the winter months. Sunscreen, while important to prevent skin cancer, also can decrease vitamin D production."

5. She Likes the Beach

"Swimming can improve mood in both men and women. For people with fibromyalgia, swimming can decrease anxiety, and exercise therapy in warm water can decrease depression and improve mood. Water-based exercise can improve the health of pregnant people and has a positive effect on the pregnant person’s mental health. Parents of children with developmental disabilities find that recreational activities, such as swimming, improve family connections," says the CDC.

Kate Sharma, the actress, model and influencer, loves to share her everyday life with her fans, including her many outfit changes. Sharma posted a reel of herself walking and posing in a black bathing suit and see-through skirt, with the hashtag “reel it, feel it.” How does she stay so fit? Read on to see 5 ways Sharma stays in shape and the photos that prove they work—and to get beach-ready yourself, don't miss these essential 30 Best-Ever Celebrity Bathing Suit Photos!

1. She Loves To Take Baths

Sharma loves the physical and mental benefits of taking regular baths. “Baths help many people sleep well,” says family medicine provider Amy Zack, MD. “They also create a good environment for meditation, thought and escape from everyday stressors.”

Baths have been a popular way to relax and unwind for centuries, and there are a number of potential health benefits associated with taking a soak in the tub. Here are a few examples:

  1. Stress relief: The warm water and the act of soaking in a bath can help to relax the muscles and reduce stress. In fact, research has shown that taking a warm bath can lower blood pressure and heart rate, both of which can be indicators of stress.
  2. Improved sleep: The relaxation and stress-reducing effects of a bath can also help to improve sleep quality. A warm bath before bedtime can help you fall asleep faster and wake up feeling more refreshed.
  3. Pain relief: Soaking in warm water can help to reduce muscle pain and soreness, particularly after exercise. The buoyancy of the water can also help to take the weight off of sore joints, making it easier to move around.

2. She Swims

Sharma enjoys swimming as part of her fitness regimen. "Because the activity is less weight-bearing, certain groups of people can take advantage of it if they want to be active,” says Brian Wright, associate professor of kinesiology at DePauw University. “One can also continue to do it late into one's age, as opposed to weight-bearing activities like running.”

3. She’s a Dancer

Like most Bollywood stars, Sharma is an accomplished dance performer. “When you begin moving, you immediately release the brain chemicals dopamine, adrenaline, and endorphins, causing a powerful and lasting effect I call ‘energized optimism,’” says Kelly McGonigal, PhD.

4. She Enjoys Indian Snacks

Pani,Puri,,Golgappe,,Chat,Item,,IndiaShutterstock

Sharma is a big fan of pani puri, an Indian street snack consisting of fried dough balls filled with vegetables. "The water used in pani puri are flavors of cumin, mint and tamarind,” says Senior Clinical Dietician Neha Bhatia. “Mint water and cumin are good for weight loss. Not just for weight loss, mint water is good for health as well. It can help in curing irritable bowel syndrome, provide relief to indigestion and improve immunity. Mint also has fiber, vitamin A, iron, manganese and folate."

5. She Loves the Beach

Sharma loves spending time at the beach. “The physical sensation of putting your feet in warm sand causes people to relax,” says Richard Shuster, PsyD. “We’ve been conditioned to think of the beach as peaceful and relaxing. We expect when we go to the beach that we are going to relax.”

Spending time at the beach can have a number of health benefits. Here are a few examples:

  1. Improved mental health: The sound of the waves and the smell of the saltwater can help to relax the mind and reduce stress. In fact, research has shown that spending time in natural environments can help to improve mental health and reduce the risk of depression and anxiety.
  2. Increased vitamin D: Sun exposure is an important source of vitamin D, which is essential for strong bones and a healthy immune system. Spending time at the beach can help you get more vitamin D, which can be difficult to get from food alone.
  3. Increased physical activity: The beach is a great place for physical activity, such as swimming, surfing, or playing beach sports. Exercise is important for overall health, as it can help to improve cardiovascular fitness, strengthen bones and muscles, and reduce the risk of chronic diseases such as obesity and diabetes.
  4. Improved skin health: The sun's UV rays can have a drying effect on the skin, but the saltwater and sand at the beach can help to exfoliate and moisturize the skin. The ocean's minerals can also help to improve skin conditions such as acne and eczema.
  5. Improved sleep: The relaxation and stress-reducing effects of spending time at the beach can also help to improve sleep quality. Getting enough restful sleep is important for overall health, as it helps to repair the body and support immune function.

Paulina Porizkova is sharing another message of self-love in her swimsuit. The 57-year-old old shows off her famous figure in one of her latest Instagram posts, taken while on the beach. “Four years ago, I was on a vacation with friends in St Maarten. We were lounging on the beach, and I brought up the topic of superpowers. What were our real life superpowers? What did we think of our own and those of each other?” she captioned the post. How does she manage to look half her age and what is her superpower? 1. She Encourages Self-Love

The Meteor: Meet the MomentCraig Barritt/Getty Images

In her latest post, Paulina explains that she encourages women to love themselves by paying lots of compliments, which her friends call “her superpower.” “Everyone always thinks I get nothing but compliments all day long. So my friends and lovers, making the assumption I know and hear it all the time, very rarely give me one. I understand how it feels to be told by someone that you are beautiful to them. And the opposite. So I make a point of complimenting others,” she said in the post. Is it shallow? Is it superficial? Maybe. But who cares when the result is a heartfelt smile and a little extra bounce in the step. Every woman is beautiful in her own and unique way. Why not celebrate it?” She also refuses to listen to body shamers. “Body shaming is so last decade. Let’s celebrate who we are, wrinkles and imperfections and all,” she wrote in a recent Instagram caption after a troll tried to slam her for being too thin.

2. She Eats Clean

While Paulina isn’t a supporter of diet culture, she stays in shape by eating clean and healthy food – for the most part. “I live reasonably clean- don’t much enjoy processed foods, but love a variety and do love my cakes,” she wrote in a recent Instagram post.

3. She Moves – Moderately

rag & bone Celebrates The Spring CampaignCraig Barritt/Getty Images

Paulina enjoys exercise, but in moderation. “I started exercising when I was 40. I never did anything before that. Just cigarettes and poor nutrition. I could eat whatever I wanted because I smoked. Cindy [Crawford] would be there sweating and working out, and she had a fabulous body that she worked for and I was just like, 'Oh, that's stupid.' I had a good time being unhealthy for a while, but then you pay for it,” she told Elle. These days she works out “at least three times a week- sometimes less, sometimes more,” she revealed on Instagram. Her motivation to sweat is also different. I found out if I worked out every day my anxiety was kept a lot at bay. And I felt better. So how great is that?” she told Elle.

4. Dance Your Way to a Hot Body

Paulina enjoys a social form of cardio. “I still dance. I've done boxing. I've done rowing. You name it, I've done it. Except for running. I don't like running. It doesn't feel good to me. It feels bad on my knees,” she told Elle. “I'd rather do Zumba. And Bollywood dancing is a great way to get the aerobic part done. I do some really hard rowing classes. It's become something that's like brushing my teeth. It's something I have to do.”

5. She Also Does Pilates

Paulina is also a big fan of pilates, revealing in a recent Instagram post that the Nofar Method, a New York City based studio, is her favorite. According to research, Pilates exercises are designed to increase muscle strength, endurance, and flexibility, and to improve posture and balance. Experts maintain that it is a great workout for leaning out.

6. She Isn’t Ashamed to Be Aging

“I felt ashamed to be aging, and then on the other hand you go, 'But, I'm smarter, I'm better, I'm funnier, I'm more patient!' Overall as a person, I'm the best I've ever been. So I'm not ready to be dismissed,” she explained to PEOPLE about why she posts so much about aging. “You don't get to dismiss me because I have some wrinkles and sags and gray hair now, when I'm kind of fabulous, the most fabulous I've ever been. In fact, I'm going to just put it out there and go, you know what, this is me at my best. Deal with it!”

Sims has been subjected to a lot of trolls during her time in the spotlight. One thing that she has been trolled for is her body. However, Sims doesn’t let them get to her. In fact, she even fires back from time to time. Sims posted a video on her Instagram story of herself eating a cheeseburger. “Not so rare footage of me eating a cheeseburger,” Sims wrote.

2. She’s Charitable

Fort,Lauderdale,,Fl,,Usa,-,April,25:,An,Office,OfShutterstock

Sims loves to give back to others. She tells Jupiter Magazine that she works with the charity Pageant of Hope. “I lost both of my grandfathers to cancer at an early age, and I was raising money for Relay for Life with my grandmother to benefit the American Cancer Society,” says Sims. “Through that organization, I got to work directly with childhood cancer patients and even do hospital visits in Atlanta. I was inspired by that and wanted to spend more time with these amazing kids, some of whom were my age at the time.”

3. She Has A Slower Pace

Sims and her husband, Brooks Koepka, moved from Los Angeles to Jupiter, Florida. And Sims is enjoying the change in lifestyle. “I like the slower pace, especially after living in L.A. for almost nine years,” she says to Jupiter Magazine. “It feels like a vacation here.”

4. She Goes Swimming

Living in Florida means Sims is surrounded by water. And she takes advantage of it. Sims loves to go to the beach or pool and swim. She has posted several photos on Instagram of herself swimming. Sims posted this photo of herself in the pool, captioning it, “Black velvet, if you please.”

5. She Skis

Both Sims and Koepka love to go skiing. Sims posted this set of photos on Instagram of them skiing in Big Sky, Montana. She captioned the post, “I love you snow much.” "The physical aspect is obvious, however many individuals, especially those that have never skied before, may not realize how much brain power goes into the sport. Skiing is a proprioceptive activity. Proprioception is an aspect of fitness that is defined as one’s ability to feel the position of different body parts and the effort that goes into moving them. This is almost defines skiing because skiing involves quite a bit of balance and coordination. There are so many slight movements and positions of your body that you must be conscious of to ski well. The more you ski the more you strengthen your ability to be aware of the movement of your body parts. This is important because proprioception weakens with age so the more you are involved in proprioceptive activities the less it will diminish," says the University of New Hampshire.

Water Skiing

Sydney Sweeney arrives to "The Road to the Golden Globes Party"

Sydney has been water skiing since she was a toddler. “The moment I could walk, my mom put me on what’s called a U-board to learn how to ski,” she told Women’s Health. “I remember that whenever we would go by the docks of my grandma’s or my cousin’s house, I’d wave. I felt so cool because I could take off one hand. That’s my earliest memory of skiing, but I’ve been doing it as long as I can remember. It’s my favorite.” How does it help her achieve her amazing body? “It’s a lot of upper body strength, it’s balance, it’s core, it’s legs—you get tired really fast,” she says. “I see such a change in my body after an entire summer of [skiing]. My arms are stronger, more sculpted. My abs are rock solid. But I never look at it as a workout because it is so much fun,” she said.

Morning Workouts

Sydney mixes up her exercise routine, but likes to get workouts over with early in the day. “I like to work out in the morning, so I’ll either go for a run or I’ll go to Solidcore,” says Sydney. The high-intensity, low-impact Pilates-inspired workout “makes me feel so strong, but also elongated,” Sydney said about her sweat sessions. “I feel so good afterwards.”

Self-Care

Sydney engages in self-care activities. “I love to paint, and I love to read,” she said. “Those are the activities that are just for me.” One Harvard study published in Social Science & Medicine found that people who read books regularly had a 20% lower risk of dying over the next 12 years than those who weren't readers or who read periodicals.

She Walks and Hikes

One of the ways she treats her anxiety is by spending time outdoors with her dog, Tank. She takes him on walks or hikes. Going for a daily walk can be a game changer, especially at a brisk speed. One study published in JAMA Internal Medicine found that walking at a brisk pace for about 30 minutes a day reduced the risk of heart disease, cancer, dementia, and death, compared with walking a similar number of steps but at a slower pace.

Mariana relies on old-school strength training to keep her body toned. “Training till failure instead of reps + taking my ab routine up a notch by incorporating weighted exercises,” she wrote about one of her workout tactics. “I can feel my muscles being challenged and am in tune with my movements.” According to the Mayo Clinic, strength and weight training help reduce body fat, preserve and increase lean muscle mass, and burn calories more efficiently. Strength training may also help you:

  • Develop strong bones
  • Manage your weight
  • Enhance your quality of life
  • Manage chronic conditions
  • Sharpen your thinking skills

Other healthy habits? “Prioritizing digestion,” she writes in the same post. “Making sure I get enough fiber & starting off every morning with a juice cleanse. This has helped me feel so much better everyday.” She also gets regular blood work done. “So important to check your levels and know what’s going on in your body routinely! Don’t skip the doc apts, always better to be preventative.”

Hiking

Mariana enjoys hiking. “Elevation therapy,” she captioned a post from one of her fitness adventures. According to the National Parks Service, the physical benefits of hiking include:

  • Building stronger muscles and bones
  • Improving your sense of balance
  • Improving your heart health
  • Decreasing the risk of some respiratory issues

Mariana does reformer Pilates. “POV: Stepping into the prettiest torture chamber,” she wrote across a video of herself at the studio. Why is Pilates a good workout? According to the Mayo Clinic, the workout has many benefits, as it “strengthens the body's inner core while increasing its flexibility, resulting in improved overall health.” It can also promote longer, leaner muscles, injury prevention, stress and back pain relief, enhanced athletic performance, and heightened mind-body awareness.

Emsculpt NEO

Mariana recently got an aesthetic body treatment, Emsculpt NEO. “I’ve heard all the rage about the benefits to spot reducing fat & toning muscle so I had to give it a try to target those pesky lower abs. It was a 10/10 & a great addition to my workout routine,” she wrote.
