1. She Snorkels
Parmar loves to swim. Specifically, she loves to go snorkeling in the ocean. She posted this series of photos on Instagram of herself going for a dive with her mask on. She captioned the post, “Being fishy in the sea.” "Every year a quarter of a million Americans put on a wetsuit and jump in the water to explore the undersea world. If you're properly trained, scuba diving can be very safe," says the Mayo Clinic.
2. She Believes In Consistency
For Parmar, being healthy is all about consistency. “Fitness means to remain healthy,” she says to India Forums. “I am not conscious about my food choices because I am not very foodie so I do not experiment with food. So I eat my regular diet and maintain myself.” "Do you want to adopt a healthy diet but aren't sure where to start? As you consider the parade of healthy diets in magazines and cookbooks, make sure to look for one that:
- Includes a variety of foods from the major food groups: fruits; vegetables; whole grains; low-fat dairy products and lean protein, including beans and other legumes, nuts and seeds; and healthy fats
- Provides guidelines for how much food to choose from each group
- Includes foods you can find in your local grocery store — rather than specialty or gourmet store items
- Fits your tastes, lifestyle and budget," says the Mayo Clinic.
3. She Runs Every Day
To get cardio into her wellness routine, Parmar says that she likes to run. She is open about her love of the exercise. She told India Forums, “I run on the treadmill in the morning.” She also told Telly Chakkar, “I jog for a half an hour each day.”
4. She Eats Low Carbs and High Proteins
When it comes to her diet, Parmar says that she eats pretty healthy. She tells Telly Chakkar, “Since I am not much of a foodie, it is not very difficult to control my hunger pangs. I just believe in eating less of carbs and more of protein.” Try edamame. “Edamame’s a fantastic source of protein. In the plant world, there are very few sources of protein that have all of the necessary essential amino acids. Soy is one of those rare plant sources of complete protein," says Anna Taylor, MS, RD, LD, CDE to the Cleveland Clinic.
5. She Focuses On Working Out
When it comes to wellness, Parmar says that she is a lot more focused on exercising, rather than dieting. She also shared her wellness advice with Telly Chakkar. “I would like to advise people to eat whatever they wish to, but make sure they exercise a lot.”
