Disha Patani is showing off her famous figure in her latest social media post. The Indian actress flaunts her assets in a pink colored bathing suit via Instagram, attracting praise from her millions of followers. “Wow,” wrote one. “Wonderful pic,” commented another. How does the film star maintain her figure? Read on to see 5 ways Disha Patani’s stays in shape and the photos that prove they work—and to get beach-ready yourself, don't miss these essential 30 Best-Ever Celebrity Bathing Suit Photos!

1. She Prioritizes Exercise

Exercise is a big part of Disha’s life. “I work out everyday and my routine usually involves cardio in the mornings, like dancing, kick boxing or gymnastics, and weight training in the evenings,” she told Vogue India. How much daily exercise should you aim for? Harvard Health suggests “at least 30 minutes of moderate exercise or 15 minutes of intense exercise a day,” to maintain health.

2. She Hydrates

Entertainment India JanuaryGuha/Getty Images

Disha drinks a lot of water. She even told Vogue that her water bottle “is the most important part of any workout.” How much do you need to hydrate? According to Harvard Health, you should drink at least four-to-six cups of water daily and avoid overhydration. “It's possible to take in too much water if you have certain health conditions, such as thyroid disease or kidney, liver, or heart problems; or if you're taking medications that make you retain water, such as non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs), opiate pain medications, and some antidepressants,” they add.

3. She Chooses Strength Training Over Cardio

Disha explained to Vogue that a big misconception is that women should only do “cardio, not weight training.” She reveals that most women “all work out and do heavy weights; I come across so many girls in the gym training really hard. At the end of the day, it isn't about the gender, but about working on your body and becoming your fittest self.” She also regularly kickboxes, showing off her moves on Instagram.

4. Her Diet Is Healthy

Bollywood actress Disha Patani poses for a photo during theAshish Vaishnav/Getty Images

Disha fuels her body with a “protein-carbs” diet, she explained to Vogue. “I have fallen into this bad habit where I don't eat anything in the mornings before working out, because I feel very full while exercising if I do. But, it is definitely advisable to cram in a small meal before a work out, consisting of some protein, like eggs. After exercising, it is good to add protein again, either through chicken, eggs or paneer.”

5. She Cheats

Entertainment India DecemberProdip Guha/Getty Images

Disha eats healthy most of the time, but loves to indulge in the occasional cheat meal. “I absolutely love them; in fact, I wait for cheat days the whole week. Depending on the diet I am following and my shoot schedule, I sit down once a week and eat everything I can fit into my stomach,” she confessed to Vogue.

1. Fitness Is Her Therapy

“Fitness is like therapy to me, I feel most at peace when I am working out,” Disha recently told Elle India. “Everyone says you have to get into fitness to look a certain way, but that wasn’t why I gravitated towards it. For me, fitness is not just about looking a certain shape or size—it’s about having a healthy mind.”

2. She Does a Lot of Different Workouts

Disha is the queen of exercise, relying on several workouts to stay in shape. A few of her go-tos? Strength training, deadlifts, kickboxing, and gymnastics, she revealed to Elle. She often shares her workouts on social media.

3. Her Diet Is Healthy

Disha revealed to Vogue India that she maintains a “protein-carbs” to fuel her workouts.

4. She Changes Up Her Workouts

You won’t find Disha repeating the same workout day after day. “I get bored easily, which is why you will always find me changing up my routines to keep myself interested and agile,” she told Elle.

Actress Disha Patani just enjoyed a day in a beach cabana, and she’s got a gorgeous photo to prove it. Patani just posted a new photo on Instagram of herself striking a pose in in what looks like paradise, while wearing a white strapless swimsuit. Her incredible figure, glowing skin, and dark hair were on full display. How does the star of Radhe, Bharat and Kung Fu Yoga stay so fit (besides, you know, doing yoga)? Read on to see 5 ways Disha Patani stays in shape and the photos that prove they work—and to get beach-ready yourself, don't miss these essential 30 Best-Ever Celebrity Bathing Suit Photos!

1. She Does Gymnastics

Patani is quite the gymnast and can do a lot of flips. She posted this reel on Instagram of herself doing several acrobatic moves at the gym, with the help of a trainer. She also posted this slow motion reel of herself doing a backflip off a stack of mats. “Gymnasts require stamina and good cardiovascular health,” sports medicine specialist Marie Schaefer, MD, tells the Cleveland Clinic. “Exercises that get your heart pumping are beneficial both during and between competition seasons.”

2. She Practices Martial Arts

INDIA-ARTS-CINEMA-BOLLYWOODSujit Jaiswal/Getty Images

Patani is a very talented martial artist as well. She has posted several videos on Instagram of herself practicing martial arts and working on certain moves at her gym. For something more relaxing, try tai chi. "Tai chi is an ancient Chinese tradition that, today, is practiced as a graceful form of exercise. It involves a series of movements performed in a slow, focused manner and accompanied by deep breathing," says the Mayo Clinic. "Tai chi, also called tai chi chuan, is a noncompetitive, self-paced system of gentle physical exercise and stretching. Each posture flows into the next without pause, ensuring that your body is in constant motion."

3. She Dances

Another physical activity that Patani likes to post videos of herself doing on Instagram is herself dancing. She posted this reel of herself and her friends dancing to a Nicki Minaj song, captioning it, “Girls on set.” She also posted this reel of herself and her friends doing the Woman Dance Challenge, captioning it, “Throwback to us just chilling.” This kind of "aerobic exercise may ease the gloominess of depression, reduce the tension associated with anxiety and promote relaxation. It can also improve your sleep," says the Mayo Clinic.

4. She Loves To Go To The Beach

Patani is a big fan of going to the beach for some fresh air and time by the water. She has posted several stunning beachside photos and videos on Instagram, of herself enjoying the ocean, lounging, or posing in the sunset. Being outside: "It offers an emotional boost and can help you feel less tense, stressed, angry or depressed. And sunlight can give your body vitamin D, too," says the Mayo Clinic. "And don't let cold weather stop you from being active outdoors! Dress in layers and protect your head, hands and feet. Then head outside for a winter hike or go cross-country skiing. And aim to keep a positive mindset about winter. This may help you to enjoy the season and winter activities more."

5. She Lifts Weights

Entertainment India JanuaryProdip Guha/Getty Images

One of the ways Patani stays in shape is lifting weights and strength training. She posted this reel on Instagram of herself doing deadlifts with a huge barbell and support from her trainer. She captioned the post, “80kg 1 rep.” "Barbell training goes far beyond focusing on how to move with weights. A lot of the movements involved are ones that we do daily. If you can master them, you’ll be OK whether you’re at home or the gym," says the Cleveland Clinic. “I like to teach people how to squat properly and many times, I’ll do that by having them use a chair. This teaches them how to be more aware of the alignment of their hips, knees and ankles. This is important because it can help people keep their heels on the floor like they’ll need to do when squatting," says personal training coordinator Scott Crabiel.

5. She Worked Hard

Patani opened up about her childhood to the Times Of India. She says that she had to work hard, and it helped her get to where she is. “While growing up, we had to study a lot. I wanted to be an air force pilot, however, things didn’t work in that direction for me. Ours was quite a strict household, but this helped me be independent right from the beginning.”

1. She Goes With The Flow

Celebrity Sightings: Day 8 - The 76th Annual Cannes Film FestivalPierre Suu/GC Images

In an interview with IDiva, Roy opened up about what she has learned from her career. She says that she has learned to roll with the punches when it comes to her career. “I guess we have all had our share of experiences that vary from one another. I would say it is very difficult to navigate this industry in terms of whether you and your work is being taken seriously. Difficult to get the right meetings, auditions and the next film. But I truly know we are all going through our own journeys and fair share of struggles. So, no complaints you know. I guess you have to have the passion for your craft and work as a newcomer everyday, learn and dance, and treat all your difficulties and failures as much with kindness and love.”

2. She Works Hard

Entertainment India - April 2023Prodip Guha/Getty Images

Roy tells IDiva that she’s a hard worker, and that this is something she’s learned from working as an actress. “My biggest learnings while working in TV were discipline, commitment and conviction; of playing one single character with the same conviction and spontaneity for months and sometimes even years. There's no shortcut to hard work. Have respect for your own and everyone else’s time.”

3. She Doesn’t Let Criticism Get To Her

Entertainment India - April 2022Prodip Guha/Getty Images

Roy tells IDiva that she doesn’t let haters or any criticism get to her. “Many years back when I had joined social media platforms, I used to wonder how people can be so unkind and it used to bother me. Soon, I realised, they are phantom beings hiding behind their screens writing rubbish which actually says the kind of pitiful people they are. So there is nothing to feel bad there. You should say a prayer for them and let them be.”

4. She Loves Yoga

Roy is a fan of yoga and meditation. She talked about this in this Instagram post. “Can’t begin to explain how yoga and meditation has helped change my mindset and in turn has brought positive impact on my body,” she wrote in the caption. “It is so so imp to include yoga in daily life for a person's body, mind and soul. Start slow and steady, simple things, what your body can adapt quickly, slowly you ll see your body and mind asking for more. Replace the craving for bad with the good. Slow & steady. One tiny change at a time. And tog it ll bring the physical and mental discipline which ll have a positive impact on your entire day, helps me be way less vague & anxious than I used to be before. I hope for all of us to continue and let go of all the garbage that we don’t need in our minds and lives and bring positive changes lil by lil err’yday.”

5. She Goes To The Beach

Roy spends a lot of time outside. In particular, she loves to go to the beach. She shares a bunch of posts on Instagram of herself by the water. Leonie Hanne is living her best life in Thailand – in her swimsuit. In a new social media post, the German model flaunts her fantastic figure in a $750 Missoni bathing suit while enjoying a boating day in the tropics. “She dreamed of a tropical adventure 🦋,” she captioned the series of Instagram snaps. “Stunning,” commented one of her followers. ”So beautiful,” added another. How does she approach diet, fitness, and self-care? Here is everything you need to know about her lifestyle habits.

Coffee

Leonie enjoys the perks of caffeine. In one of her posts from Thailand, she drinks a cup of coffee at the poolside. According to the Cleveland Clinic, drinking coffee in moderation has several benefits. “It acts on your brain to improve memory, mood, reaction times, and mental function,” they say, citing a study finding that caffeine can improve endurance and performance during exercise. It is also antioxidant-rich, can ward off diabetes, prevent neurologic disease, lower cancer risk, and ward off depression, they point out.

Pilates

Leonie does Pilates at the super exclusive London studio Pilates in the Clouds. Why is Pilates a good workout? According to the Mayo Clinic, the workout has many benefits, as it “strengthens the body's inner core while increasing its flexibility, resulting in improved overall health.” It can also promote longer, leaner muscles, injury prevention, stress, and back pain relief, enhanced athletic performance, and heightened mind-body awareness.

At-Home Workouts

Leonie tries to get a workout in daily, preferably in the morning. I still try to get up early to maintain a sense of routine. I start every day with a quick at-home workout and a homemade acai bowl, before starting work on emails and content creation. I’ve been getting really into TikTok lately, it’s funny and keeps me feeling energised!” she told Arcadia.

Community

It takes a village, according to Leonie. “Community is key! The people you surround yourself with are more important than ever, as we are all trying to find ways to stay connected without being physically present. Speaking to people either on the phone or through social media can shift your mindset and motivation more than ever before,” she says.

Small, Healthy Habits

Leonie focuses on maintaining small, healthy habits. “Do something every day that brings you joy. Even if that means having something small to look forward to, like having your favourite snacks around the house or changing into an outfit that makes you feel good about yourself,” she says.

Sophie Piper is embracing island life – in her swimsuit. In a new social media post, the Love Island beauty shows off her fantastic figure in a swimsuit during a tropical vacation at Kandima Maldives with Josh Ritchie. “Island life,” she captioned the series of Instagram snaps taken at the picturesque resort. How does she approach diet, fitness, and self-care? Here is everything you need to know about her lifestyle habits.

She Doesn't Go Under the Knife

Sophie claims she hasn’t gone under the knife. “It’s your own body, you can do what you want to,” she told Grazia, weighing in on the show’s reputation for girls getting work done. “I wouldn’t have surgery myself; I don’t want it. I’ve got such a low pain tolerance as well; I’d be squirming around.”

She Gets Her Steps In

Stand Up Paddle Boarding

Sophie loves paddle boarding. The American Council on Exercise (ACE) agrees that paddle boarding is great for the core and cardio. Water sports can burn an average of 385 calories for a 140-pound male and 436 calories for a female of the same size, per a study conducted by Arizona State University.

She Skis

When Sophie hits the mountains, she throws on a pair of skis. “Ski club,” she captioned a photo. Research has linked downhill skiing to several health benefits. In addition to promoting physical fitness, it may decrease the risk of cardiovascular and metabolic diseases. Studies have also found that the more frequently a person skis, the prevalence of known hypercholesterolemia, systemic hypertension, diabetes, the frequency of mental stress, and the occurrence of memory deficits decline.

She Loves Group Fitness

“You’ve got to be body confident,” Sophie told Grazia. One of her favorite sweat methods? Group fitness. “A few gym classes can’t hurt,” she said.

She Goes Snorkeling

On her recent Maldives vacation, Sophie and Josh snorkeled in the crystal clear water. Surprisingly, putting on a snorkel and fins and swimming through the water is a great workout. In addition to being a great aerobic exercise and burning calories, other health benefits may include improved cardiovascular function, stress reduction, mood enhancement, and muscular toning.

Tammy Hembrow is a fitness influencer and expert. She has her own app, called Tammy Fit. Hembrow has a lot of challenges on her app. Recently, she advertised a challenge with a workout video on Instagram. Hembrow captioned the post, “We are 3 days into our first @tammyfitapp challenge of the year & I am more motivated than everrrrr. (Sign ups are still open if you haven’t joined yet - there’s still time to catch up!! - link in bio). Soooo happy seeing so many of my girlies (and guys) in this challenge doing it with me!! And I CANNOT wait to see everyone’s results at the end of the 8 weeks. We got thissss 💪🏼”

She Does Pulldowns

Hembrow is seen doing pulldowns in her Instagram video. Piedmont reports that pulldowns have a lot of benefits. “The lat pulldown is a fantastic exercise for strengthening the latissimus dorsi muscle, the broadest muscle in your back. This muscle promotes good posture and spinal stability. Form is crucial when performing a lat pulldown to prevent injury and reap the best results.”

She Lifts Weights

Tammy Hebrew is seen using dumbbells.

Tammy Hebrew/Instagram

Hembrow is seen doing a lot of exercises with weights in her Instagram video. ACE Fitness states that using weights to workout has a lot of benefits. “Strength training with heavy weights improves muscle definition. Muscle definition occurs as the result of muscles remaining in a state of semi-contraction and heavy strength training recruits the larger type II muscle fibers responsible for a muscle’s appearance.”

She Tracks Her Meals

Hembrow likes to track her meals on her app. She talked about the benefits of this in the caption of this “What I Eat In A Day” Instagram video. “Make sure to take advantage of the calorie/macro tracking features in the @tammyfitapp during this challenge guys. It can be really helpful in reaching specific goals quicker. And it also can help educate you on your food choices when it comes to nutrition, ratios, hidden calories, overeating or under eating etc. honestly I’d recommend any beginner try it out just to get a good feel for how you’re fuelling your body!! I feel like when people think of ‘meal tracking’ it can be seen as something that seems restrictive or something only bodybuilders do. When in reality it can be such a helpful tool and you can learn things that will actually encourage long term habits 🫶🏼🫶🏼”

She Loves Bananas

Tammy Hebrew has a banana snack.

Tammy Hebrew/Instagram

Hembrow is seen enjoying bananas in her “What I Eat In A Day” Instagram video. The Cleveland Clinic states that bananas have a lot of benefits. “A single medium-sized banana offers about 32 mg of the mineral magnesium, which fulfills around 8% to 10% of your daily magnesium requirement. Magnesium is involved in many processes in your body, including: Blood pressure. Blood sugar levels. Building proteins. Maintaining bone. Muscle function. Nerve function.”

She Loves Cottage Cheese

Tammy Hebrew's snack the contains banana and cottage cheese.

Hembrow is seen enjoying her bananas with cottage cheese in the previous Instagram video. Cottage cheese is very healthy. UCLA Health reports, “Cottage cheese’s protein content and low calories make it an ideal food for weight management. Research shows that whether you are trying to lose weight or reduce your risk of overweight or obesity, eating a high-protein diet can help you feel full and satisfied for longer.”
