She Follows COVID Protocols

With the new COVID-19 variant rising, Doja Cat is taking precautions to keep herself, her team, and her fans safe. After a few members of her production camp tested positive for the virus—including herself—the rapper announced on Instagram that she had canceled several performances, including the iHeartRadio Jingle Ball tour. "While my spirits are down since I can't be there to celebrate the holiday with my fans…I'm doing OK and look forward to recovering and getting back out there as soon as I can!"

She Spends Time In The Pool

Over the summer, Doja spent a lot of time cooling off in the pool. She posted this stunning series of photos on Instagram of herself in a blue bikini in an outdoor pool. Doja's choice of swimming is a great workout for her, according to Connecticut personal trainer, Lindsay Hiebert. "Swimming is great for the cardiovascular system, is low impact, and good for joints," she says.

She Dances

Being a performer, Doja Cat naturally has to learn choreography for her videos and live performances. And she's got plenty of experience with dancing. She says to Dazed: "After moving from Oak Park around the age of eleven-and-a-half, I started to take up break dancing. I danced in a crew and competed around Los Angeles in organized underground cypher/battles."

She's Fearless

Doja Cat is known for her unique and revealing outfits. However, she admits that she used to be afraid to take risks with her fashion in the past. "Back in the day I was afraid to do green eyeshadow because I didn't know what to wear with a green eye look," she says to Byrdie. "Now I'm learning how to do something that's tasteful and not too in-your-face when it comes to fashion and combining that with more dramatic makeup."

She's Working To Be Comfortable With Her Body

While Doja is not afraid to show off her body on social media and in public, she admits to Cosmopolitan that she's struggled to love her body in the past. "Growing up, I definitely had body dysmorphia. Without a doubt. And I've had it since." Doja says that her song "Juicy" has helped her find acceptance with herself. "I feel like that song [Juicy] was therapeutic for me. I kind of made it for myself – well, the meaning behind it, at least. I was kind of doing it for my own happiness and I feel like other people can definitely pull some joy from that, too."
