She tells FOX News that one of her secrets to keeping her skin healthy is protecting it from the sun."I used to do the old baby oil baking in the sun thing long ago to get super tan," she admitted. "I’ve stopped that. I’ve let myself get a little pale and I wear sunblock all the time, no matter the season. If I want a little glow, I’ll use a self-tanner or a tinted moisturizer. I want to take care of my skin the best that I can and the number one thing you can do is stay out of the sun."

D’Errico is open about being a vegan. She tells FOX News that wanting to help animals is what drove her to make this change. "There were happy benefits, like clearer skin, better digestion, better sleep,” she says. “But that’s not why I do it. I do it for the animals."

"It's changing this idea that women become less desirable as we get older," she told People about why she opted to design a swimwear collection with Andie, encouraging older women to wear bikinis and other sexy swimsuits. "We don't want to look matronly or not feel sexy." She added: "Not being defined by a number and instead being defined by my experience. You hit 59 and you're already thinking, 'Well, I'm going to be 60.' It feels very liberating. When I think of my grandmother at 60, she in a way seemed to be already resigned to being old. But I feel, in so many ways, more alive and present than ever."

Curtis is a recovering addict, and is currently over 20 years sober. "My recovery is the single greatest accomplishment that I will ever get to do in this human life," she said to Hello! Magazine. "I have a generational link to addiction and substance abuse in my family and I was able to catch it, look in the mirror, understand the problem and I have been clean and sober for 22 years."

She says that she is open to any opportunity that comes her way. “I have continually taken the jobs that come my way, from blockbuster film projects to commercials for pantyhose and rental car services and yogurt that makes you regular,” she told InStyle. “I'm sure some people thought I would never get another ‘real’ job after taking some of those opportunities, but I didn’t care. She is open about being a vegan, and revealed that director Sam Simon, inspired her to do this. “I went to the next room and he had me watch this undercover footage of a factory farm. At that time, I had no idea there were factory farms or what they were. I didn’t know what conditions these animals were in before they ended up on our plates and in grocery stores. I lived in the dark. I watched the video. I came back to the room where he had his podcast studio set up and I was in tears. I told him I was never going to eat meat again. He said, ‘Well, great. Let’s finish the podcast.’ And we did. But from that point on, I didn’t need meat anymore.”
