Dorinda Medley in Bathing Suit Says "I Miss Being on Vacation"

Dorinda Medley is reminiscing about sunnier days in her swimsuit. The Real Housewives alum shows off her incredibly fit figure in a bathing suit in one of her latest social media posts. She Put on Quarantine Weight

Dorinda has opened up about her weight gain during the pandemic. "We were all in the midst of COVID and quarantine. And of course, we were all eating. I realized I had gone way overboard and thought, 'Oh, my goodness. What am I going to do about this?'" she said. "I gained almost 20 pounds that first year, so I turned to Nutrisystem."

She Maintains a Healthy Lifestyle

Dorinda was attracted to the way of eating, viewing it more as a lifestyle than a diet. "I wanted a program that I didn't have to think a lot about, that had variety and provided the nutrition I needed. Nutrisystem was amazing because it offered different flavors and so many options," she said. "I'm happy to say I've lost 17 pounds on the Nutrisystem program and feel incredible on the inside and the outside." She also food options "delicious" and added that she eats everything from turkey bacon breakfast sandwiches to pizza bowls.

She Cheats

She also likes that the flexible plan allows her to indulge on occasion. "We have to treat ourselves. But the next day, I go back on Nutrisystem," she said. "So I can have a flex meal. I can sneak in a little pasta every once in a while. But the next morning, I'm back on my Nutrisystem."

She Prioritizes Self-Care

Dorinda also prioritizes self-care. "One of the positive things about quarantine was that we were able to stop for a moment and reevaluate what is important to us," she said. "Women have a tendency to set their needs aside and look after those around them. I hope that I can be an inspiration, even to just one woman out there, to be a little selfish."

She Does Doroboics

Dorinda was an aerobics instructor in the 1980s and put back on her leg warmers in recent years, she explained to The DailyMail. "The '80s were so much fun!" Dorinda recalled. "When I was an aerobics teacher, my classes were famous, my mixtapes were famous. You walked in that class; you had the outfit out on, you had the sweatbands, you had the leg warmers," she added. "It wasn't just about the workout. You came out of an aerobics class in the '80s, and you felt pumped; you felt happy."
