Dua Lipa is steaming up the Ionian sea! The "Levitating" singer has been vacationing in Albania at the Kep Merli Resort with her boyfriend, Anwar Hadid, soaking up the sun. On Monday, she gave her fans a glimpse of her incredibly flat abs, rocking bikini bottoms with a cropped New York hot dog t-shirt. Instead of hour-long training sessions, Dua keeps her workouts short and sweet. "It's high-intensity interval training, but it's so quick, it's over before it's even started," she told Vogue about her 15-minute high-intensity interval training workouts, consisting of lots of jumping jacks, mountain climbers, and burpees. According to the Mayo Clinic "you'll burn more calories," with these types of workouts "The more vigorously you exercise, the more calories you'll burn — even if you increase intensity for just a few minutes at a time."

The Early Bird Gets the Workout Worm

Dua gets in her workouts first thing in the morning at 8:30am. "This is normally the time I give myself to work out," she wrote for Refinery29. "Whether it's on Zoom, doing a workout with my friend Ella in L.A. who leads a kickass workout class called Sculpt With Ella, or with my best friend Bunny who comes over to train me on days when I'm feeling super lazy and need someone to get me motivated, getting physical really starts my day off right."

Dua revealed to Urban List that she does a lot of ab work. "I think different variations of crunches like bicycle crunches are good. Leg raises are also great unless my back hurts. Planks are good although almost certainly my least favourite!" she said.

Variety Keeps Exercise Exciting

Dua tries to keep herself motivated with exercise by regularly mixing up her workouts. She told Refinery29 that some of her favorites include yoga, Pilates, or strength training. "Whatever it is, I try to change it up every day to keep things interesting," she told Urban List. "I like that it's definitely a full body workout. Since starting boxing, I've probably been in the best shape ever. It's also a great stress reliever."

Find Workout Buddies

Dua confessed to Urban List that she prefers working out with others than by herself. "I would always be that person who made a new year's resolution, get a gym membership and then show up twice in the first week of January and then never go again," she said. "Now I love workout classes or working with a trainer. I feel like I'm pretty useless on my own, so I prefer being around other people working out with me."
