Dua's approach to healthy is moderate. "I try and stay as healthy as possible whenever I can," she dished to Urban List."I'm never one to stop myself having treats, I do love naughty treats. But I try and limit it to days when I'm not as busy, because if I do eat a doughnut it usually puts me in a food coma!"

One way Dua eats healthy is by preparing her own food. "I love cooking and being surrounded by my favorite people, though I also love ordering from the fantastic restaurants in my area," Dua explained in an essay for Refinery29 during the pandemic. "With all the running around I do for work, it's nice to come home, slow down, and connect with the food that nourishes my body and life."

Dancing is obviously one of Dua's favorite calorie blasting activities. The star likely burns thousands of calories per day while on tour. Dance "is an aerobic activity that can count toward the amount of aerobic activity recommended for most healthy adults by the Department of Health and Human Services," says the Mayo Clinic. "The guidelines recommend at least 150 minutes of moderate aerobic activity or 75 minutes of vigorous aerobic activity a week, or a combination of moderate and vigorous activity. But even small amounts of physical activity are helpful. Being active for short periods of time throughout the day can add up to provide health benefits."

"It almost feels as though we're all doing it in the same place. That brings a little bit of normality and in some way makes things easier for sure."

Dua prefers short but intense bursts of exercise, telling Vogue that she does 15-minute intervals of mountain climbers, jumping jacks, and burpees. "It's high-intensity interval training, but it's so quick, it's over before it's even started!" she said. "I'm still trying to see what my boundaries are and how far I can push myself and when I need to rest."

Dua doesn't even skip her workouts while on tour  "When you're on a tour bus, every day and every place is different, so you never know what you're going to find. That's always one way to keep it interesting," she told Marie Claire about how she gets creative when she is on the road.
