Dua Lipa in a swimsuit is wishing her mom a happy birthday! “Happy 50th Birthday to my gorgeous Mama. My queen @anesalipa 🦋,” she captioned an Instagram batch of photos of the two of them. Dua, the child of Kosovo Albanian parents Anesa (née Rexha) and Dukagjin Lipa, is close to both of her parents, and they remain her North Star. How does she stay so fit? 1. She Does What She Does For Her Parents

Dua-LipaDua Lipa/Instagram

Dua’s father is a musician. “He's good. I mean, he is my dad. I'm gonna say he's good,” she told CNN. “I guess I'm biased there. Both my parents are really the reason why I do what I do. Them always being so open and playing music around the house. And whenever they saw that I had a passion to do anything artistic, they were always the ones that pushed me.”

2. She Just Wants to Have Fun

Every time she works on a new album, she says “ I'm slowing down a bit. I'm not really because I haven't stopped at all, performing at the Brits to kind of doing a world tour and all the videos that I've done and the places I've traveled. My favorite thing about my job is kind of going back to places and seeing the crowds grow and getting to do something different. And that for me is what really means the most. The music that I love making is pop music, but I want the concepts to maybe be a bit more unconventional. There are so many things that I've been writing about. I just wanna have a lot of fun with it.”

3. This is What She Does Early in the Morning

“Time for a walk with my dog, Dexter. I got really lucky that he and I have the same sleep schedule. If I need to catch a couple extra hours of sleep he’s right there with me, but on days when I’m up bright and early, he’s ready for his morning walk. Our walks are the perfect way to get my mind right for the day ahead. I usually grab a bottle of Evian — gotta stay hydrated — and his leash and we head out for a stroll around the neighborhood. While walking, I make a mental list of my intentions for the day,” she told Refinery29.

4. She Values Self Care

“If you're unsure of what self-care activity is right for you, Kristin Lothman, a mind-body counselor with Mayo Clinic's Department of Integrative Medicine and Health says there are many to try,” says the Mayo Clinic. "Basic practices could include things like journaling; meditation; prayer; and mindful movement, such as yoga or tai chi ― really any intentional action or behavior that gives us energy and enhances our sense of well-being."

5. She Feels for Immigrants

Lipa’s parents emigrated to the UK. “Nobody leaves their country by choice most of the time. And I think it's really upsetting, especially with the refugee situation, because I know how lucky I am to have been, to have lived in the UK and to have been given all these opportunities and to have had the opportunity to come back and live in London and pursue my dream,” she told CNN when rhetoric against immigrants seemed like it was at an all time high. “And to think that young kids don't actually have, or may not have that opportunity in the future is really upsetting.”

Dua Lipa is known for her work with the brand Versace. In her recent Instagram post, she modeled a swimsuit from the line. In the photos, Lipa posed in a black swimsuit with white polka dots and different colored butterflies. Her impressive figure was on display in the post. Lipa captioned the post, “My summer outfit until further notice.” How does she stay so fit? 1. She Has Makeup Free Days

In late 2016, Lipa revealed some of her beauty secrets in an interview with Allure. She says that having days where she isn’t wearing makeup is important. “Off stage, I try not to not wear makeup as much as I can. I need to give my skin a break. I guess it was always important for me to take my makeup off before bed, but now, it’s like to a whole ‘nother level.

2. She Travels With Skincare Products

Versace FW23 Show - ArrivalsAxelle/Bauer-Griffin/FilmMagic

Lipa does a lot of traveling, and she makes sure to take skincare products with her on the road. “I’m traveling so much, and my skin gets so tired, so anything I can take like eye cream, face cream, face mist, oils—just anything to keep my skin moisturized because flying dries it out. Traveling is the worst for skin, and it shows instantly. Once you’re working non-stop, you can instantly see it.”

3. She Wants To Be A Role Model

Being in the public eye, Lipa has a lot of people looking up to her. She tells Allure that she wants to inspire others. “If you can be a role model doing what you do....For me, my aim is to just be as good as possible. If people do look up to me, I have to set the best example I can. I guess in a way that makes me the best version of me when it’s about someone else as well. Especially for ‘Blow Your Mind’, the whole video is a campaign for niceness. It’s like the girl gang that everyone can be a part of.”

4. She Uses A Toothbrush On Her Skin

Mockup,For,Bathing,Products,Top,View,Flat,Lay,,Spa,Razor,Shutterstock

Lipa tells Allure that she has a unique beauty tip. “I use a toothbrush for loads of different things. Well, I don’t use the same toothbrush for loads of different things. I have a couple. I use a toothbrush on my lips as a lip scrub, occasionally I use a toothbrush with some dark eye shadow on my eye brows if I want to fill them in. And if I want a really thick, textured look with mascara, I put one on my lashes, as well. At home [in London], I discovered it after running out of makeup supplies and trying to make do with what I have. Now, I still use it.”

5. She Does A Variety Of Workouts

Lipa shared some of her favorite workouts in an interview with Refinery29. She says that she does a lot of different things to stay in shape. “Whether it’s on Zoom, doing a workout with my friend Ella in L.A. who leads a kickass workout class called Sculpt With Ella, or with my best friend Bunny who comes over to train me on days when I’m feeling super lazy and need someone to get me motivated, getting physical really starts my day off right. I also love to do yoga, Pilates, or strength training. I like to leave my cardio workout to dancing.”

Dua Lipa is finally getting the chance to tour behind her wildly successful and award-winning album, Future Nostalgia. She kicked off her tour this week, and posted a selfie on Instagram with a close-up on her face and her jeweled earrings, captioning it with an eye emoji and then "C you”—and added some bathing suit photos for good measure, all from her stop in Miami. (There, her concert got rave reviews; "Dua Lipa Proves the Pandemic Only Made Her Stronger at ‘Future Nostalgia’ Tour Kickoff," wrote Rolling Stone.) How does she stay so fit? Read on to see 5 ways Dua Lipa stays in shape (mentally and physically) and the photos that prove they work—and to get beach-ready yourself, don't miss these essential 30 Best-Ever Celebrity Bathing Suit Photos!

1. She Got Off Social Media

Lipa has been open about the struggles of being in the public eye, especially when it comes to dealing with social media haters. She was infamously trolled on social media after one of her performances, and after winning awards. Lipa said on the Gurls Talk podcast with Adwoa Aboah that she had to step away from social media, and that this benefitted both her mental health, and her career. “I don’t think I could have done my second record if I hadn’t taken a step back from social media,” she said.

2. She Loves To Journal

dua-lipa-1Dua Lipa/Instagram

Lipa opened up about some of her self-care and mental health practices on the Gurls Talk podcast. She says that journaling and writing her feelings down has really improved her mental health and wellbeing. “Get a piece of paper and write down what you’re thinking, [it] doesn’t even have to make sense, but I think it really helps.”

3. She Gives Back

61st Annual GRAMMY Awards - Red CarpetNeilson Barnard/Getty Images

Lipa is a very charitable celebrity, and has used her platform to promote several different causes. Lipa told the Gurls Talk podcast that the COVID-19 pandemic inspired her to start giving back a lot more. “A lot of us are fortunate enough to be able to self-isolate with family, friends, loved ones, but there are lots of people around the world, refugees who live in overcrowded areas, who don’t have access to basic human needs such as soap and water.”

4. She Decided To Prove Her Doubters Wrong

Dua Lipa Future Nostalgia Tour - Miami, FLJason Koerner/Getty Images

Lipa opened up to Attitude Magazine about the intense social media trolling and backlash she received in the past, and how it affected her. She revealed, “IT was definitely something that gave me anxiety and made me upset and made me feel like I wasn’t good enough and made me feel like, maybe I’m not meant to be here and on the stage. There were so many things, especially when you start out, like a video of me dancing and they’re like, ‘Ah well, she has no stage presence’ – but they’d never been to one of my shows, they’d never seen me perform. They would take one small snippet and run with it and it would become a whole thing.” Despite these feelings, Lipa let the haters motivate her to work harder, and prove them wrong, and by the time her second album was released, she was receiving praise for her ability as a performer. “It was a tough time, but I’m also so grateful for experience because I became so much stronger. I became so much more confident after that. Now I know what I’m good at; I know how to be good at what I do; [and] I know how much work it takes to be good at what I do.”

5. She Loves Boxing

MTV EMAs 2019 - Winners RoomKate Green/Getty Images

Lipa opened up about some of her favorite exercises in an interview with Beauty Crew. She revealed that one of her favorite ways to stay in shape was by boxing. “I like doing it for fitness [and] I like doing it just to kinda clear my mind. I really enjoy it. I like that it's definitely a full body workout. Since starting boxing I've probably been in the best shape ever. It's also a great stress reliever."

Dua Lipa just shared a swimsuit photo of herself wearing a crochet swimsuit in the same colors as the Barbie doll she’s holding. The megastar knows all about the doll: she appeared in the film and recorded the theme song. “Dance The Night is Number 1 in the UK!!!! 💖💖 birthday week going strong @barbie @barbiethealbum !!! So much love to everyone listening and streaming,” she caption the picture. (Her birthday is August 22, 1995.) How did she rise to fame? Read on for details about Dua Lipa you may not know, and to see the photos.

1. She Once Didn’t Love Her Name

“My whole life I feel like my name's always been a little bit difficult to pronounce,” she told Jimmy Fallon. It’s not that she didn’t like it, it’s just “I just didn't appreciate my name as much. Growing up, living in London, being born in London, having a full Albanian name, like Dua, people pronouncing it….It means love in Albanian. Pronouncing it, I feel like I just wanted a normal name. I was like Sarah, Hannah, Chloe, anything.”

2. She Was Into Hip-Hop

Her first concert was Redman and Method Man, who she say while growing up in Kosovo. “Well, they were basically in Kosovo. People only really listened to hip-hop. It was so massive out there. And the only artist that I guess there was such a demand for were hip-hop artists. Going to the Method Man of Redman Show was kind of my first introduction to Wu-Tang. And then when I went to my second show, which was 50 Cent, I then read the book, watched the movie, really learned all the words. I went fully prepared,” she told Fallon.

3. Here’s How She Got Discovered

How did Dua Lipa get discovered? She told Wired: “It’s a bit of a long story, but I'll try and shorten it a little bit. When I was young, I always wanted to make music. I started making YouTube covers and I started showing them to my friends in school, and then I used them as a form of portfolio to work with different producers and get in the studio, and I was like, I sing and I would love it if we could get in the studio and write together. I made a bunch of demos and then I basically Googled managers in London, and then I got offered a publishing deal. Then I had to find a lawyer, and then the lawyer was trying to help me. I was like, don't sign this publishing deal. Whatever you do, let me help you find a manager. And he introduced me to my manager, Ben, and so that was a really, really long story cut short.”

4. On Her Musical Identity

“I think musical identity evolves all the time, and I think as an artist, you don't really want to keep doing the same thing over and over again. You want to find something that you love, obviously, and if you love it, you should keep doing. But I do feel like experimenting is always good. And even if it's rubbish, if you love it, put it out. You'll grow from it. I feel like every experience and every song and whatever you do, not even just in music, I feel like it's always just like a baby step to where you want to be or discovering yourself even further,” she told Apple Music.

5. An Early Music Memory

“Lauryn Hill was an artist that my parents loved so much. So her record was always played at home and I knew those songs before I knew who she was or was able to dive into the whole—I remember being in the car and just singing the Fugees’ ‘Ready or Not’ and just that was always just something that I would sing, but not really know who the artist was or where it came from. It would just constantly be playing. And it's interesting and it's very unique for an album to soundtrack your life but be so timeless and every time you hear it feels like the first time. And that's how I feel about the Miseducation of Lauryn Hill. I really honestly feel like every time I listen to it, you hear it something different and it touches you in a different way and it meets you at a different point in your life. And if anyone was to have made one album and that'd be it. That's it. That's the pinnacle.”

1. She Takes Care Of Her Skin

Lipa has impressive skin, and she makes sure that she has an intricate skincare routine. She broke down her biggest skincare tips to Stylista, saying, “I’m quite methodical. I wash my make-up off every night with a rosehip cleansing oil by Pai, then use a cream cleanser and apply a probiotic serum and face cream by Esse. In the mornings, I use the cream cleanser again followed by a niacinamide serum from a dermatological brand called Synergy, then moisturiser and SPF.”

2. She Moved To London On Her Own

dua-lipa-selfie-1Dua Lipa / Instagram

Lipa has a strong work ethic and she says that this started when she was young. She revealed to Stylista that she moved to London on her own, when she was a teenager. Lipa says that the experience gave her the work ethic and the idea of what it takes to be a singer. “That whole experience shaped me and helped me so much with my confidence,” she says. “It made me realise I had to do everything on my own. My parents were far away and it taught me a lot about what I wanted, what I needed and how hard I had to work to get to where I wanted to be. Being alone helped me not be afraid to get out and talk to people and get into the rooms I wanted to be in.”

3. She’s True To Herself

64th Annual GRAMMY Awards - ArrivalsJeff Kravitz/FilmMagic

Lipa is all about being true to herself, and being proud of the work she’s done. She says that this is one of the reasons that she’s had so much success. “I think it’s about being yourself,” she says to Stylista. “Being proud of the things you put your name to, and making sure that what you put out is coming from you and isn’t for the sake of trying to get on the radio."

4. She Started A Book Club With Her Friends

Lipa revealed to Stylista that she is an avid reader. However, her busy schedule doesn't always allow her to read, or see her friends. She says that she came up with a solution to these problems. “I recently decided to start a book club with my friends. We weren’t meeting up because we were all busy, so we decided to give ourselves an excuse to have dinner together regularly.”

5. She Does Quick Workouts In The Mornings

Celebrity Sightings In New York City - March 03, 2022Raymond Hall/GC Images

Lipa has a busy schedule, but she still makes time to work out. She tells Marie Claire that her secret to staying in shape is doing a quick workout in the mornings, before she starts her day. “I try and work out as much as I can. It’s such a busy lifestyle I feel like I need to try and do something for myself every day. I love doing something that’s really fast and quick, like a 15-minute HIIT session which I can do before I start my day. If I’ve got a really early call time I don’t want to be waking up hours before I need to, to go and do a workout. So a high intensity workout, shower, breakfast, and I’m on my way.”

Adding a playful pun to her caption, she wrote, “Never tyre’d of a good beach workout.”
So, how does she stay in such incredible shape? From strength training to boxing, here’s a look at her go-to fitness moves.

She Strength Trains

In her Instagram post, Sharvari is seen doing a strength training exercise. The Mayo Clinic says that strength training has a lot of benefits. “Strength training can help you manage or lose weight, and it can increase your metabolism to help you burn more calories. Strength training may enhance your quality of life and improve your ability to do everyday activities. Strength training can also protect your joints from injury. Building muscle also can contribute to better balance and may reduce your risk of falls. This can help you maintain independence as you age.”

She Does Yoga

Sharvari shares a lot of her favorite workouts on Instagram. One thing she likes to do is yoga. Sharvari posted this video of herself doing poses on her page. John Hopkins Medicine states that yoga is very beneficial. “Regular yoga practice may reduce levels of stress and body-wide inflammation, contributing to healthier hearts. Several of the factors contributing to heart disease, including high blood pressure and excess weight, can also be addressed through yoga.”

She Plays Padel

Sharvari likes to play padel to keep herself in shape. She shared this set of photos on Instagram of herself on the court. Playing padel has a lot of health benefits. Everybody Health & Leisure says, “It improves cardiovascular fitness, helps to build strength and endurance, enhances coordination and promotes overall physical and mental well-being. Not to mention, it’s a fantastic way to burn calories.”

She Boxes

Another thing that Sharvari does to keep herself in shape is box. She first picked this up when training for the film, Vedaa. She shared this set of photos on Instagram of herself punching a bag. Sharvari captioned the post, “BEAST MODE on for Vedaa! ⚠️☠️🥊 Took up boxing to become Vedaa... Now I am ready to pack a punch or be strong enough to take a brutal beating 💪#Vedaa coming to a theatre near you on August 15th.”

She Runs

Sharvari likes to run to keep herself in shape. She shared this set of photos on Instagram of herself running on the beach. She captioned the post, “Decided to seas the day!” Better Health says that running is very beneficial. “Regular running or jogging offers many health benefits. Running can: help to build strong bones, as it is a weight bearing exercise, strengthen muscles, improve cardiovascular fitness, burn plenty of kilojoules, help maintain a healthy weight.”

Natasa Stankovic in Two-Piece Workout Gear Shares "Wednesday Challenge"

Stankovic shares her go-to workout moves, from squats to lunges, cardio, Pilates, and strength training.

Natasa Stankovic isn’t just a content creator—she’s a fitness inspiration. Known for sharing intense workout sessions on Instagram, she keeps her followers motivated with creative exercise challenges and dynamic routines.

In her latest post, Stankovic teamed up with Aleksandar Illic for a lower body blast, pushing through variations of squats and lunges. Dressed in a sleek two-piece workout set, she captioned the session, “Wednesday challenge,” proving that fitness is all about consistency and fun.

So, how does she maintain her lean, strong physique? From strength training to Pilates, here’s a look at Stankovic’s go-to workout moves.

She Does Squats

Stankovic does squats to keep herself in shape, as you can see in her Instagram video. Piedmont says that this exercise has a lot of health benefits. “Whether you’re hoping to tone your muscles, strengthen your core or just improve overall health, squats are one of the best exercises you can do. Although the movements appear relatively simple, squats can take time to master. Joel Hardwick, ACSM EP-C, EIM2, an exercise physiologist at Piedmont Atlanta Fitness Center, says practice will pay off…Hardwick explains that squats are a compound, multi-joint movement, which means they exercise several muscle groups. When you perform a squat, you work your calves, quads, hamstrings, glutes, core and part of your back.”

She Does Lunges

Stankovic is also seen doing lunges in her Instagram video. The Mayo Clinic reports that lunges are very beneficial to do. “The lunge is a body resistance exercise that works the leg muscles. Specifically, the lunge targets the quadriceps and the hamstring muscles in the thigh, the gluteal muscles in the buttock, and to a lesser extent, the lower leg muscles. The lunge is a great conditioning exercise for many sports, especially those that involve lunging movements, such as tennis, basketball or soccer.”

She Does Cardio

Stankovic likes to do cardio workouts to keep herself in shape. She shared this video of herself doing fast box jumps in different directions on Instagram. Stankovic captioned it, “Morning cardio challenge.” Cardio exercises have a lot of benefits. The Cleveland Clinic says, “When you work your heart and other muscles of your body during cardio exercise, this increases oxygen supply to your whole body, allowing all muscles to work harder and more efficiently. Over time, regular cardio exercise allows your muscles to adapt to an increased workload, making regular activities seem easier.”

She Does Pilates

Stankovic shares a lot of her favorite workouts in an Instagram story highlight. In some of the stories, she is seen doing Pilates exercises on a reformer. Pilates is very beneficial. The Cleveland Clinic says, “One of the reasons Pilates is such a good workout is that it specifically focuses on building core strength.”

She Strength Trains

Stankovic likes to strength train to keep herself in shape. She shared this Instagram story of herself using dumbbells. ACE Fitness says that strength training and using weights has a lot of health benefits. “Strength training with heavy weights improves muscle definition. Muscle definition occurs as the result of muscles remaining in a state of semi-contraction and heavy strength training recruits the larger type II muscle fibers responsible for a muscle’s appearance.”

Kim French in Two-Piece Workout Gear Shares "Real Results" Workout

Learn how she sculpts her powerhouse physique with deadlifts, lunges, squats, and more.

Kim French is more than just a personal trainer—she’s a fitness coach who empowers thousands through her Believe App and Instagram workouts. Known for her structured, effective home training plans, she proves that you don’t need a gym full of heavy weights to build serious strength.

In a recent Instagram post, French shared a glimpse of her at-home training, reminding followers that smart training delivers "REAL results." Rocking a sleek two-piece workout set, she showcased some of her go-to exercises, emphasizing that with the right strategy, anyone can see progress.

So what’s in her routine? From deadlifts to hip thrusts, here’s how French sculpts her powerhouse physique.

She Does Deadlifts

French is seen doing deadlifts in her Instagram post. This exercise has a lot of benefits. NASM says, “A Romanian deadlift is a hip-hinge pattern that works the hamstrings and glutes. It is a form of deadlift with noticeably less bend in the knee, leading to greater hamstring engagement than traditional deadlifts. The move was introduced to the masses in the 90s by Romanian weightlifter Nicu Vlad (an Olympic and World Weightlifting champion) and his coach Dragomir Cioroslan. The two invented the move to help Nicu strengthen his back for the clean and jerk. Today, RDLs are commonly used to strengthen the posterior chain, using the core muscles to stabilize and the hamstrings and glutes to drive the movement.”
