Dua's approach to exercise? Keep your workouts short and tough. "It's high-intensity interval training, but it's so quick, it's over before it's even started," she told Vogue about her 15-minute HIIT workouts. Her workouts usually consist of jumping jacks, mountain climbers, and burpees.

Work Out First Thing in the AM

The early bird will always get the work out worm, per Dua who schedules her workouts at 8:30 am. "This is normally the time I give myself to work out," she told Refinery29. "Whether it's on Zoom, doing a workout with my friend Ella in L.A. who leads a kickass workout class called Sculpt With Ella, or with my best friend Bunny who comes over to train me on days when I'm feeling super lazy and need someone to get me motivated, getting physical really starts my day off right."

Do Los of Ab Work

Dua's secret to her flat abs? Lots of Ab work. "I think different variations of crunches like bicycle crunches are good. Leg raises are also great unless my back hurts. Planks are good although almost certainly my least favourite!" she told Urban List.

Dua told Refinery29 that variety is key when it comes to motivating herself to work out. Yoga, Pilates, and strength training are all part of her routine. "Whatever it is, I try to change it up every day to keep things interesting," she added to Urban List. "I like that it's definitely a full body workout. Since starting boxing, I've probably been in the best shape ever. It's also a great stress reliever."

Find Workout Buddies

Dua encourages finding a workout buddy. "I would always be that person who made a new year's resolution, get a gym membership and then show up twice in the first week of January and then never go again," she told Urban List. "Now I love workout classes or working with a trainer. I feel like I'm pretty useless on my own, so I prefer being around other people working out with me."
