1. She Believes In Consistency

Macpherson broke down some of her wellness and diet secrets to Harper’s Bazaar. She says that one of her big ones is favoring a consistent lifestyle, rather than going on diets or cleanses. “I believe in maintenance, I’m not a big binge and purge person,” she says. “I think it’s really important to maintain wellness year-round. Not because it looks good but it actually feels good – which is really important when you’re running a business and you’ve got kids and a full life.”

2. She Enjoys A Plant-Based Diet

Macpherson tells Harper’s Bazaar that she makes sure to eat healthy. One thing that she likes to do is by going on a plant-based and veggie heavy diet. “It’s easy – I just make good choices and I enjoy the choices that I make. I really enjoy a plant-based diet, I love vegetables.”

3. She Cuts Some Ingredients Out

While Macpherson doesn’t believe in cleanses and diets, she does believe in cutting out some ingredients at points in the year. She tells Harper’s Bazaar that she cuts wheat and sugar out, when bikini season is on the way. “Coming up for summer, what I try to cut out is wheat and sugar. If you love bread and butter, that would be what I’d give up for the summer. For me it’s a ‘fine tune’ more than anything else.”

4. She Loves Raw Food

Macpherson tells Harper’s Bazaar that she loves to eat raw foods throughout the day. She also shared some of her favorite meals to make. “Lunch is usually raw or lightly blanched vegetables and dinner is a salad or something like humus, tabbouleh or nut dips with dehydrated seed bread. It’s a bit different – but I’m never hungry and I eat quite a lot. Today I had a super bowl with quinoa, beets, goats cheese, sweet potato and rocket with olive oil and it was fabulous, I felt completely nourished.

5. She Goes Outside

Macpherson loves to spend time outside. She tells NowToLove that outdoor workouts are some of her favorites, especially if she’s on vacation. “If I'm on the road, I'll bring my running shoes along and go for a jog or a walk – I love to explore my new surroundings and soak up the outdoors.”
