Ellie Brown first made waves in 2018, when she appeared as a contestant on Love Island. Since then, she’s had a successful influencer career and has a large following on Instagram. 1. She Ignores The Trolls
Being in the public eye can be difficult, however, Brown tells The Sun that she has learned to ignore the trolls. "I'm constantly trolled by people asking how I've put on so much weight,” she revealed. “I've learned to live with it. Everyone says 'Love Island's for skinny people.’ While I completely support the idea of putting more diverse body types on the show, people need to remember the way I look now is how I looked in my first audition."
2. She Doesn’t Diet
Before going to Love Island, Brown is open about how she did a lot of working out and dieting. However, she tells The Sun that she quickly abandoned the diet, and encouraged others to do the same. "I looked amazing, but that diet really isn't sustainable. I'd end some days completely exhausted because my body wasn't getting all the nutrients it -- and, of course, the meals became SO boring.”
3. She’s Authentic
In an interview with Boohoo, Brown opened up about her life as an influencer and what she wants to accomplish. Brown says that she doesn’t want to just promote products and looks, but also show her personality. “The stuff I wear, I believe in the products that I promote. I wouldn't do it, but I don't just want it to be that. Yeah. That's not what my Instagram is from. My Instagram's from you knowing me from tv, not from what I wear. That's what I believe an influencer does and there's nothing wrong with that. I didn't grow my Instagram to be an influencer. I grew it because of my personality.”
4. She Skis
Brown spends a lot of time outside. One thing she likes to do is go skiing. She shares a lot of posts on Instagram of herself on the slopes. Brown shared this video of herself going skiing. She captioned the post, “Rise n glide.” The University of New Hampshire states, “The physical aspect is obvious, however many individuals, especially those that have never skied before, may not realize how much brain power goes into the sport. Skiing is a proprioceptive activity. Proprioception is an aspect of fitness that is defined as one’s ability to feel the position of different body parts and the effort that goes into moving them. This is almost defines skiing because skiing involves quite a bit of balance and coordination. There are so many slight movements and positions of your body that you must be conscious of to ski well. The more you ski the more you strengthen your ability to be aware of the movement of your body parts.”
5. She Swims
