1. She Does Yoga

"It's just like another kind of energy you have in yoga," Pataky told Women's Health in 2019. "It's also for your mind. At the end you have that moment of laying down and five minutes of like [does an exaggerated exhale]. Kind of like a meditation. I think that's really important for your brain and to come down. At the end of the yoga, it's just good for me to lay down and think about nothing… or try to [laughs]."

2. She Weight Trains

Louis Vuitton Flagship Store Re-Opening - ArrivalsDon Arnold/WireImage

"Weight training with yoga really works with my body. I work out with weights, and the more and more I learn that, I'm not scared doing weights," she told Body+Soul. "I'm using more weight, and more weight, and more weight, and less repetitions to create that muscle. But stretching is such a important thing for the muscle—and in women, it's what makes you get the shape, the beautiful shape."

3. She Needs to Keep Going

"I can't be without training for more than two weeks—I just get really nervous and my energy starts to go down," she said in March 2019. "When you start working out and your body's changing and you're achieving your goals, that's such a great thing. So, I think that's the motivation [to exercise]—feeling better and just being happy with you and knowing that you're healthy. If you know you're taking care of your body and you're doing it for a reason, you can put aside the, 'I can't do it.'"

4. She Horserides

“I am a very active person. I want my body to stay young – in strength and energy. I want to still go horseriding with my daughter when I’m 80!” she told Body+Soul.

5. She Promotes Swisse

Elsa promotes Swisse Wellness, Australia's No.1 Brand in Vitamins and Supplements. "Being outdoors and in nature is something that we continuously strive to do – me as an individual, but also as a family – and so the fit with Swisse is a great one that really highlights something that is important to both me and the brand. Filming at the waterfalls and with my horses in our hometown in Byron Bay with the Swisse team was an amazing experience and was also a great learning time for me to understand more about the brand and its products. I'm still getting to know all of the products, but I already have a few favorites that I use every day," Pataky said.

1. She’s Inspired By Olympians

For many people, Pataky is their body goals. For Pataky, her body goals came from Olympic athletes. She tells Body & Soul, “We used to watch the Olympics a lot, and I would get obsessed with the toned and strong bodies of the gymnastics and the 100 metre women runners. I loved their abs! So I just wanted to have a body like that. And I liked sports... and so then I started training and my goal was to have abs!

2. She’s Consistent

Thor: Love And Thunder Sydney Screening - ArrivalsDon Arnold/WireImage

Pataky makes sure to be consistent with her wellness habits. She tells Body & Soul that it is easy for her to fall back into it when she’s in a rut. “I started doing abs [workouts] all the time, and then I started to see my body change. I started eating healthier. And yes, you still have cravings - so it was very difficult - you know sometimes it [feels] impossible ... especially when you have times when you're really low and down. But I would always get back into it.”

3. She Builds Muscle

Louis Vuitton Flagship Store Re-Opening - ArrivalsDon Arnold/WireImage

Pataky tells Body & Soul that she wants to build muscle in her body. “I always tell women not to get scared to being muscly because it keeps everything up. When you get older, and everything starts sagging [laughs]. So the only way to keep it up, is the muscle. So don't be scared of that - in the beginning it will look like you're gaining weight but that will change, step by step. Just hang in there.”

4. She Does Yoga With Weights

Pataky likes to combine workout techniques. She tells Body & Soul that she likes to combine strength training with flexibility and stretching. One way she does this is using weights while doing yoga. “Weight training with yoga really works with my body. I work out with weights and the more and more I learn that I'm not scared doing weights. I'm using more weight and more weight and more weight, and less repetitions to create that muscle.”

5. She Intermittent Fasts

Pataky tells HOLA Fashion that she is a fan of intermittent fasting. She says that it was easy for her to get into this way of eating. “I do it naturally, because I have gotten used to eating early with the children, never later than 6:30 p.m. and I don't have breakfast until 10 or 11 a.m. I try not to eat anything until the next day. It is a new way of eating healthy, with which you burn more calories and also let your body rest.”

1. This is How She Treats Herself

“Right now, I feel like I don't have much time to treat myself because, in between working full-time, taking care of Tuulikki, and being in the middle of a renovation, there's just no time left for myself. Still, I know that self-care is so important to be my best self. I love having Emma, my acupuncturist, come over, set up in the garden, and do a long 90-min session. Acupuncture is something that deeply relaxes me, and I feel the results for a while after, too. I feel so different after a session; my body feels no pains or aches, and it's just fluid and balanced,” she tells the Zoe Report.

2. This is the First Thing She Does When She Wakes Up

“Feed my baby. I do that half asleep because she wakes up at 6 a.m. I always feared having to get up early, but it's been surprisingly easy. I never used to be a morning person, but it's crazy how you automatically adapt once you have a baby who depends on you,” she told the Zoe Report.

3. This is Her Favorite Drink

REVOLVE x The h.wood Group Present REVOLVE FESTIVAL - Day 1Presley Ann/Getty Images

“I’m just a sucker for a good lemonade!” she told W. “Try simply tossing an orange or a few small clementines into your bag for an on-the-go snack that doesn't require refrigeration. Grapefruit also makes a great addition to a leafy green salad, or try broiling a halved grapefruit with a sprinkle of brown sugar or drizzle of honey. Lemons and limes aren't often eaten whole, but they provide great flavor in fish, salad dressings, desserts and beverages,” says the Mayo Clinic.

4. She Likes Baths

“I prefer audiobooks in the tub so I can have my eyes closed in the dark with some candles lit,” she told W. “Taking a warm water bath can increase blood flow and it can also reduce pain and inflammation,” says the Cleveland Clinic. Also: “A recent study shows that cold water immersion like an ice water bath and contrast water therapy (a series of brief immersions in warm and cold temperatures) can improve the short-term feeling of relaxation in athletes, which can after their performance and well-being.”

5. She Protects Her Skin

“Lying the sun is not good for you,” she says. Apply that SPF before going out. “Any exposed part of your body — including your earlobes, scalp and lips — can burn. Even covered areas can burn if, for example, your clothing has a loose weave that allows ultraviolet (UV) light through. Your eyes, which are extremely sensitive to the sun's UV light, also can burn,” says the Mayo Clinic.

1. She Loves “Fitness Bodies”

Elsa loves muscles. “I’ve been working out since I was 16 or 17 years old. I’ve always been a fan of fitness bodies, in men too – but more in women. I was focused, like, ‘Oh, I want to have a body like that.’ I love the athletes – they [are] all fit with muscles, and strong – so I’ve been working out for many years just to find what is good for me,” she told Women’s Health.

2. She Does “Exercise Snacking”

Elsa weight trains three times a week for 30 minutes. She also stretches. For example, she will randomly do squats and stretches to “feel strong” and energized. She will also bust out a few moves whenever she feels like she needs to, which she refers to as “exercise-snacking.”

3. She Doesn’t Take Time Off of Exercise

“I can’t be without training for more than two weeks – I just get really nervous and my energy starts to go down,” Elsa confessed to Women’s Health. “When you start working out and your body’s changing and you’re achieving your goals, that’s such a great thing. So, I think that’s the motivation [to exercise] – feeling better and just being happy with you and knowing that you’re healthy. If you know you’re taking care of your body and you’re doing it for a reason, you can put aside the, ‘I can’t do it.’”

4. She Does Yoga

Interceptor Sydney Screening - ArrivalsDon Arnold/WireImage

Elsa does two to three yoga sessions per week, a personalized practice which includes extra abs and glute work to make it “strong” to “feel that I’m working out, too,” she told Women’s Health. “It’s just like another kind of energy you have in yoga. It’s also for your mind. At the end you have that moment of laying down and five minutes of like [does an exaggerated exhale]. Kind of like a meditation. I think that’s really important for your brain and to come down. At the end of the yoga, it’s just good for me to lay down and think about nothing … or try to [laughs],” she said.

5. She Loves the Mediterranean Diet

Elsa follows the popular Mediterranean diet, revealing to sunrise that she tries to keep it plant-based, eating lots of vegetables, fruits, legumes, wholegrains, nuts, seeds and olive oil, for its sustainability."I don't believe anything about diets, like quick diets that you do before summer. Those miracles don't exist," she explained. "Mediterranean food every day, not just [for] periods of time."

6. She Does Intermittent Fasting

Elsa Pataky Presents Gioseppo Collection In MadridPablo Cuadra/Getty Images

Elsa’s husband, Chris Hemsworth, got her into the time-restricted style of eating, aka intermittent fasting. "[Chris], he got me into fasting. So I've started fasting now, I was always like 'Hmmm, I don't know!', and it's really hard, but then I started reading about it," she said in an interview with Body + Soul. "Although, I was like 'I don't want to lose weight'—because it's a great way to lose weight, if you need to lose weight—but you won't lose weight if your body doesn't need to. And I learnt that, doing it. But I read that it was amazing for anti-ageing, so I was like 'I'm in! I'm in!' [laughs]. So he started it, and then I followed."

1. She Sticks to a Routine

“I make sure I organise my time during the day and I follow a similar routine every day. For instance, I always try to fit in my exercise in the mornings – it doesn't need to be full-on workouts, but any type of movement,” she tells Harper’s. “I try to make sure I do at least three to four workouts a week, mostly HIITs (20-40 min of intermediate training). The days I don’t, I would either surf or go horse riding.”

2. She Meditates

Louis Vuitton Flagship Store Re-Opening - ArrivalsDon Arnold/WireImage

"Once the kids are asleep, I try to meditate for 10 to 15 minutes, and I make sure I read and unwind before going to bed. At home we always try to put our phones aside just after dinner and we don't check them before bedtime, so we properly disconnect from the world for a few hours,” she told Harper’s.

3. This is How She Eats

Grilled,Fish,Fillet,With,Bbq,VegetablesShutterstock

"I make sure I eat as balanced and healthy as I can, although of course I have my cheating days," she says. "I do love cooking fresh fish in the oven or the grill, although my favourite moments are to cook and bake with my children. We always try to do it once every few weeks – from pizzas in the oven to yummy cookies,” she told Harper’s.

4. She Gets Out of Her Comfort Zone

Elsa Pataky Presents 'KissMas Time' By Women'Secret In MadridEuropa Press via Getty Images

“It’s hard to define my exact philosophy but in general, I think it’s important – especially with exercise – to get out of your comfort zone. When you’re not moving or doing anything it’s hard, but when you break that and see how good you feel after exercise, that changes something inside you. I think our thoughts and beliefs are what move us forward but they’re also what hold us back. Sometimes I think, ‘OK, I’m going to get out of my comfort zone today even if I really don’t want to work out because I know how it feels when I do it,’” she told Marie Claire.

5. She Likes a Good Workout Buddy

“It’s good to have friends you can train with because the day you don’t want to do it, your friend will be like ‘Come on, let’s do it!’. You push each other and that’s great. Having a partner to work out with can push you to be more competitive and it becomes something that’s much more fun,” she told Marie Claire.

6. This is the First Thing She Does Each Morning

US-ENTERTAINMENT-FILM-CINEMA-AVENGERS-Cinema-entertainmentVALERIE MACON/AFP via Getty Images

“What’s really important – and I think this is true for women who don’t have kids too – is to have a good routine in the mornings, because when you have kids that goes out of the window! I always wake up before them and my ideal morning would include a cold shower. It’s really good for you and gives me energy in the morning – I know it’s hard in the winter, but it’s such a good thing! Then I love to have a few moments of breathing or mindfulness getting ready for the day, or even two or three pages of a book instead of going straight to your phone. I don’t have my phone close to my bed – I try to wake up and not just go straight to it because then you fall into everybody else’s agenda, instead of organising your brain and goals for the day,” she told Marie Claire.

7. She and Chris Created an App

Elsa Pataky Presents Gioseppo New CollectionPablo Cuadra/Getty Images

Elsa and Chris created Centr Fit. "The reason we created this program was to bring together all the people we think are really good in fitness, nutrition, and mindfulness," Elsa told Women's Health UK. "I think those three things are important to keep healthy and happy. Chris put it together, but I wanted to be a part of it, too."

For Hewitt, fitness is all about variety. “I try to switch it up a bit,” she told OK! Magazine. “I’ve found that if every week I do something different it tricks my muscles into not getting used to doing any one thing. I’ve been doing pilates, I’ve been doing yoga, I’ve done just plain old walking. I wear 10 pound weights on my ankles while I’m working just so that as I’m moving during the day I’m constantly building muscle. It’s not great for your back but I’m doing it anyway. I do a booty workout thing that I just did for Shape, which was really fun. And I do Zumba. I have DVDs and I dance around like a crazy person in my house.”

Over the past few years, Sydney Sweeney has become one of America’s sweethearts with celebrated roles in everything from hit HBO shows Euphoria and White Lotus to big-screen movies Once Upon a Time in Hollywood and Anyone But You. In addition to her impressive acting ability, the star is a total bombshell and has one of the fittest figures in Hollywood. Here are the top 5 habits that help her stay fit at 27.

Water Skiing

Sydney Sweeney arrives to "The Road to the Golden Globes Party"

Sydney has been water skiing since she was a toddler. “The moment I could walk, my mom put me on what’s called a U-board to learn how to ski,” she told Women’s Health. “I remember that whenever we would go by the docks of my grandma’s or my cousin’s house, I’d wave. I felt so cool because I could take off one hand. That’s my earliest memory of skiing, but I’ve been doing it as long as I can remember. It’s my favorite.” How does it help her achieve her amazing body? “It’s a lot of upper body strength, it’s balance, it’s core, it’s legs—you get tired really fast,” she says. “I see such a change in my body after an entire summer of [skiing]. My arms are stronger, more sculpted. My abs are rock solid. But I never look at it as a workout because it is so much fun,” she said.

Morning Workouts

Sydney mixes up her exercise routine, but likes to get workouts over with early in the day. “I like to work out in the morning, so I’ll either go for a run or I’ll go to Solidcore,” says Sydney. The high-intensity, low-impact Pilates-inspired workout “makes me feel so strong, but also elongated,” Sydney said about her sweat sessions. “I feel so good afterwards.”

Self-Care

Sydney engages in self-care activities. “I love to paint, and I love to read,” she said. “Those are the activities that are just for me.” One Harvard study published in Social Science & Medicine found that people who read books regularly had a 20% lower risk of dying over the next 12 years than those who weren't readers or who read periodicals.

She Walks and Hikes

One of the ways she treats her anxiety is by spending time outdoors with her dog, Tank. She takes him on walks or hikes. Going for a daily walk can be a game changer, especially at a brisk speed. One study published in JAMA Internal Medicine found that walking at a brisk pace for about 30 minutes a day reduced the risk of heart disease, cancer, dementia, and death, compared with walking a similar number of steps but at a slower pace.

Strength training may also help you:

  • Develop strong bones

Other healthy habits? “Prioritizing digestion,” she writes in the same post. “Making sure I get enough fiber & starting off every morning with a juice cleanse. This has helped me feel so much better everyday.” She also gets regular blood work done. “So important to check your levels and know what’s going on in your body routinely! Don’t skip the doc apts, always better to be preventative.”

Hiking

Mariana enjoys hiking. “Elevation therapy,” she captioned a post from one of her fitness adventures. According to the National Parks Service, the physical benefits of hiking include:

Mariana does reformer Pilates. “POV: Stepping into the prettiest torture chamber,” she wrote across a video of herself at the studio. Why is Pilates a good workout? According to the Mayo Clinic, the workout has many benefits, as it “strengthens the body's inner core while increasing its flexibility, resulting in improved overall health.” It can also promote longer, leaner muscles, injury prevention, stress and back pain relief, enhanced athletic performance, and heightened mind-body awareness.

Emsculpt NEO

Mariana recently got an aesthetic body treatment, Emsculpt NEO. “I’ve heard all the rage about the benefits to spot reducing fat & toning muscle so I had to give it a try to target those pesky lower abs. It was a 10/10 & a great addition to my workout routine,” she wrote.
