1. The Outdoors Are Her Gym

With her toned body, you’d think the model and actress would have to be extremely disciplined with her diet and exercise regimen, but honestly, she’s realistic. She prefers hiking outside rather than working out in a gym and instead of an intense, restrictive diet she takes a self-care approach, letting herself indulge now and then. With regular exercise like walking or hiking, your health can improve greatly while you're able to maintain a reasonable, easy workout plan.
2. She Has A Pastry Every Now and Then

Emily really enjoys a sweet cake called, kouign-amann, to pair with her black coffee. "I always pretend that I don't know what I'm getting. I'm like, "Um, hmm, I guess I'll get … a kouign-amann?" They're like, "Uh-huh,” she told BAZAAR. If it’s a "worth-it" kind of pastry, she’ll let herself have a treat.

"Lunch is usually a salad or a sandwich," she said to BAZAAR. "If I'm on set, I'll have catering, but I'm well behaved with that stuff. It's easy to go crazy—they know how to feed you." She pairs healthy choices with a fresh squeezed vegetable juice, too, to stay in a good healthy headspace. "For me, it's about feeling good about what you eat," she said. "I do love turmeric and beet juices. It's so L.A., you can't avoid it." According to the Mayo Clinic, “a recent study published in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences shows curcumin, an active ingredient in turmeric, effectively kills certain cancer cells. While research continues on the role turmeric plays in treating cancer, there may be other health benefits to ingesting the spice.”
4. She Loves To Cook

She loves protein and can’t seem to get enough. "I'm a carnivore. I really like to eat meat. I crave iron," she told ELLE. "I cook a lot, so that really helps," she said. "You know how much salt and sugar and all of that kind of stuff you are putting in your body." Overall, a balanced diet is the model's priority. "I like to keep it really balanced to give my body energy and also be healthy," said Ratajkowski.
5. She Loves Yoga

She doesn’t like restricting herself to working out inside, but she’ll do it for yoga. "I am not a big gym person," Ratajkowski said. "I really like being outside and doing yoga, so I do a lot of hiking in L.A. and I have a yoga studio really close to my house that I go to like once a week."
