Emily Ratajkowski is taking some time to enjoy the sun, sea, and sand at the beach—and she’s got the selfies to prove it. Ratajkowski, 32, shared a picture of herself sunbathing in a brown and white patterned bikini, her tan legs covered with sand against a background of blue skies and ocean water. The model is thriving while extending her creative endeavors into writing and podcasts—how does she have the energy? Here are 5 ways Ratajkowski is living her best life.

1. No Dieting

Beverly,Hills,,Ca.,March,12,,2023:,Emily,Ratajkowski,At,TheShutterstock

Ratajkowski’s weight is directly related to her state of mind, and she refuses to diet. “When I’m stressed or going through a tough time I naturally eat less,” she says. “And the reverse [happens] when I’m happy. My relationship with food is inseparable from my level of happiness.”

2. Yes To Botox

Cheerful,Brunette,Girl,Is,Getting,Botox,InjectionShutterstock

Ratajkowski is glad women are being more open about cosmetic procedures such as Botox and fillers. “For people who don't live in New York or L.A., Botox seems really extreme,” she says. “But even now, all my friends in San Diego, my hometown, they get Botox. It's so normal. I mean, I was terrified. But I was also like, everybody looks great. My best friends were getting Botox and I wanted to try it. With plastic surgery in general, the way we talk about what's normal and taboo has completely changed. It's what I mentioned on the [High Low with EmRata podcast] episode. Like, nose job check. Even Doja Cat tweeted about how she's going to get surgery to get a breast lift. I think there's something really nice about how open women are being.”

3. She Loves Her Moles and Freckles

New,York,,Ny,-,June,03,,2019:,Emily,Ratajkowski,AttendsShutterstock

Ratajkowski keeps her makeup routine light, avoiding heavy foundations, and emphasizes her moles and freckles. “I try not to use that much on my skin,” she says. “I don't use foundation. I'll use concealer, but it ends up being rubbed out over my whole face. I use Gucci Westman's bronzer stick. Then I use Patrick Ta's blush. I apply it with my fingers, then on the center of my cheeks and over my nose. I have a Milk highlighter that has never run out, I've had it for years and God bless it. I use an eyebrow pencil on my lips to line them and I also use that to darken my moles and freckles.”

4. Her Number 1 Tip For Women

Ratajkowski’s best tip for women is to have self-confidence. “I think women are still terribly lacking [in this area] compared with men,” she says. “We have this internal critic and we have a hard time silencing it. We are afraid of what people will say and of appearing stupid when we open our mouths. We focus on what others will think of us – badly, of course. However, most of the time they probably think… nothing at all!"

5. Writing Changed Her Life

EmilyRatajkowskiEmily Ratajkowski/instagram

Ratajkowski says writing made a difference in figuring out who she really was. “When I started writing, that helped,” she says. “I wasn't fulfilled in my career and in my life. It was a really hard time for me. I had made all this money. I was famous. I was 'successful' in all of these ways that people tell you should make you happy. Realizing that I wasn't and I wasn't fulfilled, I had to figure out what would make me happy.”

On her Instagram story, she responded to some haters, after posting a photo of herself in a revealing outfit. “Almost didn't post this bc I knew the controversy it would stir up but hey it's my damn body and I'm not going to lean into shaming! God bless!”

2. She Loves Workout Classes

Storytellers: Amy Schumer & Emily Ratajkowski - 2021 Tribeca FestivalDimitrios Kambouris/Getty Images

Ratajkowski has been vague about her fitness routine in the past, but she does have some favorite ways to exercise. She tells InStyle that she loves to go to workout classes at the gym. She says that they push her to work harder than she would working out alone. “I'm one of those people who, if I go to the gym by myself, there's a 50/50 chance of me actually working out and really pushing myself, so the class environment works really, really well for me,” says Ratajkowski.

3. She Loves Zumba Classes

One of Ratajkowski’s favorite exercise classes to go to is a Zumba class. She even has a partnership with the company’s STRONG brand. “I think that’s the great thing about STRONG — the music keeps me really focused and in the zone,” she tells InStyle. “You just feel like you're, you know, Superwoman really pushing herself. You end up working harder and it's a better, more intense workout, without even noticing.”

4. She Works Out At Night

Ratajkowski tells InStyle that getting enough sleep is very important to her. It’s this reason that she likes to do most of her workouts before she goes to bed. She says that this helps her sleep better. "For me, the way I sleep afterwards is one of the main reasons to work out. I am always on my phone working and I think that's affected my sleep. I'm also really light-sensitive. When I work out, it's better than taking a melatonin. Because my body has worked hard, my brain finally rests and I think that is so valuable in this day and age — not to sound like an old geezer, but truly I feel that way."

5. She Believes In Balance

Ratajkowski says that her wellness routine is all about balance. "I'm all about the balance of that stuff and I really, as cheesy as this sounds, truly believe that mental and physical are really aligned, so taking care of yourself physically will help you mentally and vice versa," she says to InStyle. Pay attention to your mental health. "If you have stress symptoms, taking steps to manage your stress can have many health benefits. Explore stress management strategies, such as:

  • Getting regular physical activity
  • Practicing relaxation techniques, such as deep breathing, meditation, yoga, tai chi or massage
  • Keeping a sense of humor
  • Spending time with family and friends
  • Setting aside time for hobbies, such as reading a book or listening to music," says the Mayo Clinic.

Emily Ratajkowski is a busy woman. The model, actress, writer, and mother is constantly on the move, but she always has time to share some cute bathing suit shots on social media. 1. She Sets Boundaries

Ratajkowski is firm about boundaries, something she wants young girls to be strict about. "For a young girl going into modeling today, I would tell her that the agencies, as much as they seem like they're protecting you, they're not," she says. "You have to learn to have your own limits and boundaries and to take care of yourself. I think the industry really needs to change, but that's one way that a young woman could protect herself."

2. She Keeps Her Phone Out Of the Bedroom

Ratajkowski makes sure to keep her phone out of the bedroom to ensure better sleep. “When things in my life start to feel stressful, or I look at the news and feel like, ‘Oh my God, everything is falling apart,’ it can really feed into anxiety,” she says. “One of the things that I don’t always do and I wish I did more is sleep with the phone outside of my bedroom. I think when you know that your phone is right by you and accessible to you, even if you’re asleep, I don’t think you shut out all of that, on a subconscious level.”

3. She Works Through Self-Doubt

Ratajkowski knows what it feels like to doubt yourself—but she always works through it. "I always felt very sure of the fact that I was never going to be as good as I wanted to be and I think getting past that and just doing it, and even doing something poorly and badly can be hugely important," she says. "The way to battle self doubt is to keep working. It's OK to have that feeling; you just have to move past it."

4. She Keeps Thing Balanced

Ratajkowski knows the importance of downtime and relaxation. “I feel like, at least for me, that was a very new idea in the last two years,” she says. “Most of my life [physical and mental health] were very disconnected, but now I check in with myself more. Sometimes that means ordering a mountain of Thai food and staying at home and watching TV — and that can be wellness. I love eating a meal in bed on like, a Thursday night or whatever instead of going out and just being cozy, you see?”

5. She Loves To Read

emily-ratajkowski-1Emily Ratajkowski/Instagram

Ratajkowski’s love of reading eventually inspired her to write a book of essays called My Body. “I’ve been an avid reader my whole life, and it was one of the reasons I didn’t write more, because I had so much respect for wonderful writing that I felt like, ‘Why attempt, why not just appreciate?’” she says. “I’ve always been drawn to sparse, unpretentious writing. Flowery language doesn’t really interest me. It covers it up. It’s often difficult to be very direct and not flowery because you really have to figure out what ... you’re saying. I have so much respect for people who are good at that, especially in essays, because the idea of an essay is to get to the root of something, to investigate it.”

Emily Ratajkowski has an approach to a livable healthy lifestyle that is laudable. Prioritizing spending time outdoors, yoga, eating healthy, and having fun, she has found an achievable way to stay focused on her healthy lifestyle. The results are clear: she looks so great in swimwear, she started her own line, Inamorata Woman. “👙 all new @inamoratawoman 👙swim and sets dropping Thursday, March 24th” she announced, with accompanying photos of her wearing it. 1. She Picks The Outdoors Over The Gym

She likes getting outside to get that vitamin D, fresh air, and exercise. "I am not a big gym person," Ratajkowski said. "I really like being outside and doing yoga, so I do a lot of hiking in L.A. and I have a yoga studio really close to my house that I go to like once a week." As for yoga, “studies have shown that it can actually help our heart rate variability, which is the recovery rate and the resilience of our heart in the ups and downs of everyday life,” says certified yoga therapist, Judi Bar, to the Cleveland Clinic. “We're focusing on what we're doing, for instance, focusing on a balancing pose. It helps to calm that nervous system which generally will help that blood pressure, at least slightly.”

2. She Gives Herself The Chance to Indulge

"Every day I go to Blacktop Coffee and get this pastry called kouign-amann with my black coffee," Ratajkowski said to BAZAAR. Sometimes, depriving yourself can create more of a craving than just indulging every so often and letting yourself be human. She also enjoys splurging on a cocktail, bowl of popcorn and handful of candy on occasion.

3. She Enjoys Veggie-Packed Meals

Fanatics Super Bowl PartyAmy Sussman/Getty Images

Emily will often pair an already healthy meal with a fresh squeezed green juice to add even more vegetables and spices to her meals for health benefits. "For me, it's about feeling good about what you eat," she said. "I do love turmeric and beet juices. It's so L.A., you can't avoid it." According to the Mayo Clinic, "turmeric has natural anti-inflammatory compounds called curcuminoids, and these curcuminoids have been associated with a positive effect on various diseases," says Anya Guy, a Mayo Clinic dietitian. "Although curcumin or turmeric has anti-inflammatory properties, if you are diagnosed with a condition such as cancer or diabetes, speak to your health care provider before taking the supplement," Guy said.

4. She Enjoys Having Control Through Cooking

"I'm a carnivore. I really like to eat meat. I crave iron," she told ELLE US. "I cook a lot, so that really helps," she said. "You know how much salt and sugar and all of that kind of stuff you are putting in your body." Cooking gives Emily the control to balance various ingredients, staying on top of exactly what she’s eating.

5. She Enjoys Fitness Classes

Celebrity Sightings In New York City - November 08, 2021Patricia Schlein/Star Max/GC Images

“I am also someone who, even in a class, will get chatty and [distracted],” admits Emily. “I think that’s the great thing about STRONG — the music keeps me really focused and in the zone,” she continues about her fitness class workouts. “You just feel like you're, you know, Superwoman really pushing herself. You end up working harder and it's a better, more intense workout, without even noticing.” With workouts like STRONG or Zumba, "You not only get aerobic benefits (it really gets your heart rate up), you also get anaerobic benefits – the kind that help you maintain a good cardiovascular respiratory system," says Piedmont Health. "Turning your attention to dance, and away from the daily grind, is a great way to relieve stress. Studies show that exercise is very effective at reducing fatigue, improving alertness and concentration, and enhancing overall cognitive function."

Kriti Sanon knows that staying fit doesn’t have to feel like a chore. The Bollywood star recently shared a video on Instagram rocking two-piece workout gear, proving that her fitness philosophy is all about keeping things fun and challenging. From TRX routines to hip thrusts, Sanon mixes up her workouts to stay motivated and strong. “It’s gotta be fun,” she says—and judging by her energy in the gym, she’s clearly found the perfect balance. Here’s how Sanon keeps herself in top shape with a variety of exercises that work both body and mind.

She Does TRX

Sanon does a lot of things to keep herself in shape. She is seen using TRX cables in her Instagram video. NIFS states that these exercises have a lot of benefits. “If you have ever taken a class or done some of even the most basic exercises, you quickly see that core activation is one of the most important aspects. The workouts are simple yet very challenging, and you can easily complete a total-body workout only using one piece of equipment in 20 minutes.”

Strength Training

Sanon is seen doing a lot of strength training exercises in her Instagram video. Strength training has a lot of health benefits. The Mayo Clinic states, “By stressing your bones, strength training can increase bone density and reduce the risk of osteoporosis. Strength training can help you manage or lose weight, and it can increase your metabolism to help you burn more calories.”

She Does Hip Thrusts

Sanon is seen doing hip thrusts with a shoulder press in her Instagram video. Hip thrusts have a lot of benefits. Gymless says, “Hip thrusts are a controlled and powerful movement, mainly focusing on the glutes, hamstrings, lower back, and core. This exercise is vital for developing a stronger posterior chain, contributing to improved athletic performance, alleviating lower back pain, and enhancing overall physique. Considering that about 65 million Americans experience some form of back pain, hip thrusts are a great exercise to include in your routine.”

She Does Russian Twists

Kriti Sanon does Russian twists

Another exercise that Sanon is seen doing in her Instagram video is Russian twists with a weight. Gymless says that this exercise is very beneficial. “Russian Twists are a great exercise that develops all parts of your core, especially the obliques, it also targets the shoulders and hips. This exercise involves rotating your torso from side-to-side while maintaining a sit up position with your feet off the ground. This rotational movement often occurs in sports, which makes it a popular exercise amongst athletes. It is speculated that this was developed during the Cold War by the former Soviet Union as a training exercise for the Russian Soldiers.”

She Uses A Stationary Bike

Sanon also shared this workout video on Instagram. In it, she is seen using a stationary bike. Penn State PRO Wellness reports that stationary bike workouts have a lot of health benefits. “Riding a stationary bike can help build strength in your legs and lower body, especially if you use a higher resistance. The pedaling action can help strengthen your calves, hamstrings, and quadriceps. Additionally, it can work the muscles in your core, back, and glutes.”

Alice De Bortoli doesn’t just light up Instagram with her stunning fashion and effortless style—she also shares the secrets behind her enviable beach-ready physique. The Italian influencer keeps her followers in the loop when it comes to fitness, beauty, and wellness, proving that looking and feeling great is all about consistency. From skincare rituals to core-sculpting workouts, De Bortoli’s daily habits make it clear that staying in shape is about more than just hitting the gym. Whether she’s cooking up homemade meals, breaking a sweat, or showing off a fresh new look, she’s all about feeling her best from the inside out. She Takes Care Of Her Skin

De Bortoli has impressive skin. Naturally, she takes care of it on a regular basis. De Bortoli shared this video on Instagram sharing her skincare routine. She captioned it, “The secret to perfect skin? Here is my step by step routine! ✨💦🎀 What product can you absolutely not live without?”

She Changed Her Hair Color

Alice De Bortoli dyed her hair

De Bortoli recently changed her hair color. She explained why in the caption of this Instagram post. “The good thing about this color is that it does not require frequent touch-ups and it easily adapts to natural hair growth, it is versatile and can enhance any body and face shape 🧡for those who are tired of blonde or brown, bronde is the solution to change harmony without distortion 🤍for those who have a fair complexion, the most golden tone is recommended 🤎 for the dark complexion, on the other hand, more ash brown ❤️ 🔥what can I say... For me the bronde conquered, and what do you think?”

She Cooks

Alice De Bortoli is seen cooking

De Bortoli likes to cook, and she was taught to do so by her grandmother. She shared this video on Instagram of herself and her grandmother cooking together. De Bortoli captioned it, “Grandparents are wealth in society, my grandmother loves to cook and do it with her since I was a child. She has always inspired my creativity, patience, discipline and order but above all traditions, history, and the concreteness of nature's gifts. The greatest teaching my grandparents passed on to me is respect for people, the environment, animals and the kitchen... Today together we made Carnival Frittelle, an easy, quick dessert that adults and kids love. The ingredients are few and simple (but of high quality) and, trust me, the result is guaranteed: nice round but above all soft and tasty.”

She Works Her Abs

Alice De Bortoli doing ab exercises

De Bortoli shared this video of herself working out on Instagram. In it, she is seen doing core exercises like sit-ups. Core exercises are extremely important. The Mayo Clinic says, “Strong core muscles make it easier to do many activities. When your core muscles are strong, it's easier to swing a golf club, get a glass from the top shelf and bend down to tie your shoes. Strong core muscles help athletes, such as runners. That's because weak core muscles can lead to more fatigue, less endurance and injuries.”

She Works Out With Others

In the previous Instagram video, De Bortoli is seen working out with a friend. Better Health says that this has a lot of benefits. “You’re less likely to get bored when you have a workout buddy, especially a friend. While you’re catching up, having a laugh, encouraging each other, you’re also getting healthier. It’s a win-win. Chatting to a friend during exercise and breaks can help time pass quickly too. You’ll have more options as well, such as a game of tennis or squash.”

She's Less Strict With Her Diet

Cavallari has written several cookbooks, and they have changed as her diet has changed. While promoting her book, Truly Simple with EatingWell, she revealed that her diet is less strict. “I've gotten to a point in my life where not everything has to be so perfect anymore,” Cavallari said. “I used to be so strict about what I was putting in my body. I'm still very healthy and very conscious of it, but I've gotten a little bit more lax. True Roots and True Comfort had nothing ‘white’ in them: no white flour, no white sugar, no white salt. But in Truly Simple, I bend a little bit in a few of the recipes, which really reflects where I am in my life and my new way of eating. Everything is a little bit more relaxed around here now.’

She Loves Cauliflower

Cavallari tells EatingWell that she loves making foods with cauliflower. “I love cauliflower because I think it's very versatile, and there's actually a Sweet Harissa Cauliflower recipe in Truly Simple that's my absolute favorite cauliflower recipe on the planet. If you've ever been to True Food Kitchen, their cauliflower was the inspiration behind it. There's this sweet harissa dressing that's on it, and there's little chopped-up dates in it, so it has that nice balance between sweet and savory. It's the absolute best.”

She Loves Salad

Cavallari likes to make salads. She shared one of her favorite recipes with EatingWell. “This salad has a few of my favorite things: salmon (which has omega-3s and is so, so good for you), bacon (no explanation needed), avocado (healthy fats), and spicy tomatillo ranch dressing (just yum). Together, they create culinary heaven. If you aren't familiar with tomatillos, they're similar to tomatoes but are slightly less sweet and are perfect when drenched in ranch.”

She Works With A Trainer

Cavallari tells Us Weekly that a lot of her gym sessions are with her personal trainer. “He kicks my ass,” she says. “He pushes me really hard. He has me actually lifting really heavy weight, the heaviest weight I’ve ever lifted in my entire life. I feel the best I ever have. I feel like I’m the strongest I’ve ever been.”

She Shared Her Eye Makeup Trick

Cavallari shared some of her wellness secrets in an interview with Us Weekly. She says that consistency is one of her biggest priorities. “My goal is sort of, right now, just to maintain the muscle that I have,” she says. “I’m really petite. I have no hips. I’m just small. And so if I don’t work out for like a week or two, I feel like all my muscle goes away. So it is about consistency for me.”
