Most days, I work from early morning to very late evenings, but I am working for myself, so I truly enjoy it. However, I make sure that I also leave time for family and friends. Making money or being successful is not everything. You need to take time to do the things that bring you joy in life. Often, when I take time off, and am not rushing to back-to-back meetings, I find myself coming up with new ideas and innovations that I want to work on.”

Hernan has a lot of supportive people around her. “My family means everything to me,” she tells Grazia. “I love going back to Boston and spending time with them as well as bringing them to LA or on vacations with me. No matter how busy I am, I always make sure that I get to see my family and my old friends. It fuels my soul and gives me the energy to keep going.”

"I love filling my tub, putting a face mask on and listening to podcasts about other female entrepreneurs," she told E!.

2. She Eats a Plant-Based Diet

Emma is a vegan. She is so passionate about plant-based eating that she has her own vegan food company. "I am a huge food lover and I grew up in the food industry, so in 2018 I started my own food company, Emma Leigh & Co. I produce vegan and vegetarian frozen healthy food, including my famous empanadas that I absolutely cannot live without! My food products can be purchased on QVC, in different grocery stores and are coming to Costco soon!" she told E!.

3. She Hydrates

Emma prioritizes hydration. "I have a busy life and I drink a lot of water throughout the day,” she told E! Instead of drinking plain water, she adds some fulvic acid drops to it. “My fave water is Blk. Water. I also carry Blk. Drops in my purse so I can add it to my to coffee and smoothies to make sure I get all the minerals I need,” she said. The U.S. National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine suggests that men drink about 15.5 cups (3.7 liters) of fluids a day and women about 11.5 cups (2.7 liters).

Emma loves hiking. “Getting outside is so good for the body and the mind,” she told Women’s Health, revealing that she hikes 5 miles per day. “And you’re getting that nice little glute workout.” Per National Parks Service,“Hiking is one of the best ways to get exercise. Luckily I had a wonderful team and very professional! I imagine this happened to a lot of you on your jobs after maternity leave! In her latest post, Stankovic teamed up with Aleksandar Illic for a lower body blast, pushing through variations of squats and lunges. Dressed in a sleek two-piece workout set, she captioned the session, “Wednesday challenge,” proving that fitness is all about consistency and fun.

So, how does she maintain her lean, strong physique? From strength training to Pilates, here’s a look at Stankovic’s go-to workout moves.

She Does Squats

Stankovic does squats to keep herself in shape, as you can see in her Instagram video. Piedmont says that this exercise has a lot of health benefits. “Whether you’re hoping to tone your muscles, strengthen your core or just improve overall health, squats are one of the best exercises you can do. Although the movements appear relatively simple, squats can take time to master. Joel Hardwick, ACSM EP-C, EIM2, an exercise physiologist at Piedmont Atlanta Fitness Center, says practice will pay off…Hardwick explains that squats are a compound, multi-joint movement, which means they exercise several muscle groups. When you perform a squat, you work your calves, quads, hamstrings, glutes, core and part of your back.”

She Does Deadlifts

French is seen doing deadlifts in her Instagram post. This exercise has a lot of benefits. NASM says, “A Romanian deadlift is a hip-hinge pattern that works the hamstrings and glutes. It is a form of deadlift with noticeably less bend in the knee, leading to greater hamstring engagement than traditional deadlifts. The move was introduced to the masses in the 90s by Romanian weightlifter Nicu Vlad (an Olympic and World Weightlifting champion) and his coach Dragomir Cioroslan. The two invented the move to help Nicu strengthen his back for the clean and jerk.
