In a recent post, Da Silva posed in Bohol. She wore a light orange bathing suit, showing off her flat abs. She captioned the post, “It’s a summer thing.” How does she stay so fit? 1. She Plays Sports

Da Silva is an avid athlete, and plays a couple of sports in her spare time. She loves to go to the bowling alley as a way to both have fun, and work out. She posted this photo on Instagram of herself bowling. She captioned the post, “It’s not how you bowl, it’s how you roll.” She also posted this photo of herself on the basketball court, captioning it, “Should I start playing basketball?”

2. She Strength Trains

When Da Silva goes to the gym, she likes to use weights. The actress is a big fan of strength and weight training. She posted this photo on Instagram of herself about to lift a barbell. She captioned the post, “Lifted my way through January.” To do a deadlift: "Stand behind the barbell with the feet about shoulder-width apart, the toes slightly rotated out, and the shins almost touching the bar. Sit back into the hips slightly while keeping a straight back so that the chest is lifted upward, and bend forward to grip the bar in an over-under grip with one palm facing up and the other facing down. Squeeze the bar in the hands and sink back onto the hips while pressing the feet into the floor. Keeping the back flat, push the hips forward to move to standing position. Finish standing in a tall position with the shoulders pulled back and the legs straight. Return to the starting position by shifting the weight back into the hips and keep the back straight while allowing the knees to bend. When this movement is done properly, the glutes and the back of the thighs should feel the work, NOT the back," says ACE Fitness.

3. She Hikes

Da Silva loves to spend time outside. One outdoor activity she likes to do is go hiking. She posts several photos on Instagram of herself hiking in different trails. She posted this photo of herself walking in Siargao Island, captioning it, “Island gyal.” She also posted this photo of herself hiking by the waterfall in Kabigan Falls Lanaoi Pagudpud.

4. She’s An Environmentalist

Taking care of the environment is a big deal to Da Silva. She talked about her passion for doing so in an interview with GMANetwork. “I think it’s very apparent that climate change has been getting worse now,” she says. “I’ve been seeing a lot of people that’s been helping our mother nature.”
