Windey tells Chicks In The Office that she is surrounded by a lot of supportive people. She says that a lot of her loved ones want to see her perform on Dancing With The Stars each week. "It's been honestly such a blessing," she says. "Experiences are better when shared so naturally. I'm like, 'oh my God, don't you guys wanna come to this show?' But it's like, I forget THAT Monday people work. You have to be there two or three hours early. You have to covid test. So I'm like, 'oh my God. So sorry if you don't wanna come. Like, I totally understand, you know, like if you're sick of my shit.' But they show up every week with a huge smile, and really just wanna be there to support me. Because we all know how temporary it is. So I'm just grateful for friends who truly, you know, give a shit about me and like to see me in this light."

She Danced

Windey learned how to ballroom dance for her time on Dancing With The Stars. She opened up about the experience in this Instagram post.  Windey wrote that the experience pushed her body and mind  to new limits. "In between tears trying to sum up the last few months. It's been one of the most challenging and rewarding experiences I've ever had."

She Helped During The Pandemic

Windey has a background of being a nurse. She was a frontline worker during the pandemic, and opened up about this journey during Dancing With The Stars. Windey even did a dance to honor this story, and opened up about it in this Instagram post. She wrote, "This dance meant so much to me. Incredibly grateful for @valentin helping me share my story of being a nurse during the pandemic in such a beautiful way.
