Actor Gabriella Demetriades posted an Instagram video of her doing Pilates. "Some of the principles that guide the Pilates method include concentration on each movement, use of the abdomen and low back muscles, flowing movement patterns that are precise and a steady and controlled breathing. Depending on the exercise, Pilates routines can be performed on specially-designed apparatuses, including a bed-like structure called a reformer, or on a mat or blanket," says the Cleveland Clinic.
Wrestler Tay Conti took a trip to Mexico this week, and she made sure to pose in a bathing suit at the beach. Being in the public eye, Conti is open to a lot of opinions, and not all of them are great. However, she's learned to ignore the haters. In an Instagram post, Conti wrote, "When I look in the mirror, I'm happy to see who I am and I'm proud of myself. If you like my career, great you can stay but if you don't, just leave. One thing is for sure: HATERS WILL NOT TAKE MY HAPPINESS AWAY."
Meghan King posted a "Thirst trap" on Instagram this week, where she posed in a white bathing suit. In 2019, King unfortunately learned that her son has a brain injury, and went through a divorce. Instead of letting this break her, she decided to change the way she approached eating and food. "This is the first time in my life I've counted calories and it's in the opposite way most Americans do so," she wrote on her blog. "I eat breakfast every day. That's easy. Lunch is hard because it's an annoyance: a stop in the middle of the day when I'm on a roll. So when I eat lunch I really go for it – all the carbs and all the protein. I don't snack – never have. Dinner can go either way. The kids are asleep so I have time to eat and I do but usually I'm not very hungry."
Singer Kelly Rowland posted a stunning video on Instagram of herself modeling a new swimsuit she bought. Rowland tells Health that she is no longer comparing her body to other women's bodies, and this has helped her embrace herself. "How I became comfortable with my body is understanding that no one looks like me. I kept comparing myself to so many other women who didn't look like me, and I had to embrace me and all my flaws."
Actress Alexandra Daddario was one of many attendees at this year's SAG Awards. And she wore a plunging dress, making a splash on the red carpet. Daddario opened up about some of her health and wellness secrets to Delish. She says that she tries to do a lot of her own cooking, and keeps the ordering out to a minimum. "I use Postmates a lot, but I try to be responsible and not do that too much," she admits.
Model Alessandra Ambrosio took a trip to St. Barth's, and posted a series of stunning photos on Instagram this week. When it comes to her diet, Ambrosio is a big believer in balance. She tells Elle that she doesn't like to deprive herself of her favorite indulgences, but still wants to eat healthy. Her solution is splurging on vacations, then eating clean when she comes back. "If I'm back in Brazil where everything is pasta- or bread-based—and so yummy—I'll eat whatever I want, then go back to lots of salads and chicken or fish with veg as soon as I'm back in L.A."
Kourtney Kardashian lounged in a bathing suit, on a paddleboard in the water, and posted it to her Instagram story this week. When it comes to fitness, Kardashian makes it a priority, even with her busy schedule. She revealed in a post on her website, that she does a lot of at-home lower body workouts, which aren't super complicated or require a lot of expensive equipment. "If you have a few key pieces of gear, you can do all of these moves at home," Kardashian wrote. She says that she loves to do leg lifts, kick backs, and squats with a weight.
Model Joy Corrigan is ready for bathing suit weather, and she posted a series of stunning swimwear photos from Cabo to Instagram this week. In addition to being a model, Corrigan is also a philanthropist. She says that she always wants to be a positive influence on the world and the people she meets. "My favorite role is being a philanthropist and using my platform to make a difference in the world," she told Women Fitness. "When I'm on set, either as an actress or model, I also try to create positivity and make a difference for the better."
