1. She Meditates

"It's funny how the people who could really benefit from meditation are often the ones who can't find the time to do it," says Gadot. "It's quick, it's easy to use, and it really helps me feel present," says the Wonder Woman star to Shape. "That and getting enough quality sleep are the keys for me." She uses the Headspace app.

2. She Does Interval Training

World Premiere Of Netflix's "Red Notice" - ArrivalsSteve Granitz/FilmMagic

"I like to do interval training, and I'm super grateful that I can do those workouts in my gym at home. I try to get to it every day, but sometimes it's more like three to four times a week. It's been a bit challenging to carve out the time with the family at home,” she told Shape.

3. She Really Hydrates

World Premiere Of Netflix's "Red Notice" - ArrivalsSteve Granitz/FilmMagic

“I think that staying hydrated is a big thing. And especially for me when I travel all the time, this is something that always makes me feel energized and good. Now, as a philosophy of life that I have is, we live in such a modern, hectic, busy, pressured lives; and something that is really big for me is balance and finding the balance in everything that we do and finding ways to really charge ourselves both physically, mentally, spiritually and emotionally,” she told HuffPo. “When it comes to my body, I make sure I drink water. I make sure I work out. I make sure whatever I consume as much as I can is healthy and good for me.”

4. This is Her Training for Wonder Woman

World Premiere Of Netflix's "Red Notice" - ArrivalsAxelle/Bauer-Griffin/FilmMagic

“It’s months of training and being on a special diet. And of course, at all times drinking lots of water, because especially when you’re training it’s a must for the muscles as well. We do a lot of gym strengthening work and a lot of stunt and choreography workouts. And I incorporated some Pilates into the last movie because I was like, ‘I need to do something that is good for me and not just compress the body,’ so we do Pilates as well. And yeah, it’s very intensive. But I must say that after a couple of months of being very exhausted doing it every day, you really get into it and you’ll be amazed by what your body can do,” she told HuffPo.

5. She Always Thinks About Wellness

World Premiere Of Netflix's "Red Notice" - ArrivalsAxelle/Bauer-Griffin/FilmMagic

“I’m a mother, I’m a working woman, I do this [and that], I travel… If I don’t think about wellness, I’ll be burnt out,” Gadot told IntheKnow. “We’re all living in a very modern, demanding and hectic world, and we need to find a way to balance ourselves.”

6. She Does Pilates

World Premiere Of Netflix's "Red Notice" - ArrivalsAmy Sussman/Getty Images)

“I change it all the time, because I found that whenever I do one thing for too long [of a] period of time, I get bored of it and then I end up not doing anything,” Gadot told InTheKnow. “I did a lot of pilates, I walk a lot, I do a lot of hikes, I’m back in the gym now and I swim — which helps me meditate, in a way. There’s something super meditative about it.”

Gal Gadot is soaking up the sun in her swimsuit. In one of her latest social media posts the Israeli actress shows off her amazing body in a bathing suit while enjoying the final days of summer. “There is nothing better than spending time in the sun ❤️☀️My heart is full and my soul is happy. Thank you,” she captioned the Instagram post. How does the actress and mother prioritize her health and wellness? Here are 5 of her top health habits.

1. She Is a Dancer

“I grew up being a dancer. So learning how to do the action – it’s like a dance. It’s choreography, they call it action choreography. I love it. You play with your body, you play with your brain,” Gal recently told Vogue.

2. She Does Her Own Stunts

Gal is one of the few stars who tries to do as many of her own stunts as possible. “The team of stunt women that I work with I take everywhere with me because I couldn’t do what I do without them. I try to do as much of the action as they let me. It’s important for me to do this, because I feel like action and the performance is made not just with the choreography but also by the intention of the action. And to me, it’s so important to have both,” she told Vogue.

3. Her Mom Is Her “Wonder Woman”

Who is Gal’s inspiration and real life Wonder Woman? “My mom. It’s a cliche of an answer, I know. But I have such an incredible force of a mum that raised us to be grateful. And I think that grateful people are very happy because they are always happy with what they have. So she taught us to be grateful. And to dare. She always put such good healthy seeds of confidence and self empowerment in me and my sister and she is my true wonder woman. And she is just such a good person too,” she told Vogue.

4. She Was a Combat Trainer

Jerusalem,Israel,December,11,,2019,View,Of,Israeli,Soldiers,ParticipatingShutterstock

Gal doesn’t just kick butt on the screen. Like every Israeli, Gadot served her country in the armed forces, working as a combat trainer for the Israeli Defense Forces.

5. She Is a Foodie

In an exclusive interview with Vogue Hong Kong, the actress reveals some of her favorite comfort foods. “So if we’re talking about Israel, I love bourekas, it’s like a pastry with a crispy dough and cheese in it.” She also loves pita bread with falafel, salad and tahini, and a classic American cheeseburger with fries and a good ol’ mac and cheese.

"Into The Woods" Broadway Opening NightBruce Glikas/Getty Images

In addition to her role on Legends of Tomorrow, Ciara Renee is also a Broadway star. But there are definitely other weeks where I get busy and end up only doing the 7-Minute workout app every day, and just let that and the show be my workout. I try to be active everyday, unless I've decided I really need a recovery day. Those days usually consist of a massage (because duh), a lot of food, a good nap, and a TON of water.”

It was the kind of experience I like to have, which is, I'm overwhelmed and I'm challenged in a wonderful way. And I had a lot of support from the writers and from the director, Ben Bray, who I really collaborated well with. But after that, I don't remember exactly how many months it was we had to wait until it was in the world. It happens often as an actor, where when you're doing something it's very different than what you end up seeing. And I'm particularly hard on myself. Maybe they sent me a cut like a week before or something, but I hadn't really seen it until about the time that the public did, so I was nervous and it was an enormous relief [when the episode aired]."

She Does Squats

Stankovic does squats to keep herself in shape, as you can see in her Instagram video. Piedmont says that this exercise has a lot of health benefits. “Whether you’re hoping to tone your muscles, strengthen your core or just improve overall health, squats are one of the best exercises you can do. Although the movements appear relatively simple, squats can take time to master. Joel Hardwick, ACSM EP-C, EIM2, an exercise physiologist at Piedmont Atlanta Fitness Center, says practice will pay off…Hardwick explains that squats are a compound, multi-joint movement, which means they exercise several muscle groups. When you perform a squat, you work your calves, quads, hamstrings, glutes, core and part of your back.”

She Does Lunges

Stankovic is also seen doing lunges in her Instagram video. The Mayo Clinic reports that lunges are very beneficial to do. “The lunge is a body resistance exercise that works the leg muscles. Specifically, the lunge targets the quadriceps and the hamstring muscles in the thigh, the gluteal muscles in the buttock, and to a lesser extent, the lower leg muscles. The lunge is a great conditioning exercise for many sports, especially those that involve lunging movements, such as tennis, basketball or soccer.”

She Does Cardio

Stankovic likes to do cardio workouts to keep herself in shape. She shared this video of herself doing fast box jumps in different directions on Instagram. Stankovic captioned it, “Morning cardio challenge.” Cardio exercises have a lot of benefits. The Cleveland Clinic says, “When you work your heart and other muscles of your body during cardio exercise, this increases oxygen supply to your whole body, allowing all muscles to work harder and more efficiently. Over time, regular cardio exercise allows your muscles to adapt to an increased workload, making regular activities seem easier.”

She Does Pilates

Stankovic shares a lot of her favorite workouts in an Instagram story highlight. In some of the stories, she is seen doing Pilates exercises on a reformer. Pilates is very beneficial. The Cleveland Clinic says, “One of the reasons Pilates is such a good workout is that it specifically focuses on building core strength.”

She Strength Trains

Stankovic likes to strength train to keep herself in shape. She shared this Instagram story of herself using dumbbells. ACE Fitness says that strength training and using weights has a lot of health benefits. “Strength training with heavy weights improves muscle definition. Muscle definition occurs as the result of muscles remaining in a state of semi-contraction and heavy strength training recruits the larger type II muscle fibers responsible for a muscle’s appearance.”

In a recent Instagram post, French shared a glimpse of her at-home training, reminding followers that smart training delivers "REAL results." Rocking a sleek two-piece workout set, she showcased some of her go-to exercises, emphasizing that with the right strategy, anyone can see progress.

So what’s in her routine? From deadlifts to hip thrusts, here’s how French sculpts her powerhouse physique.

She Does Deadlifts

French is seen doing deadlifts in her Instagram post. This exercise has a lot of benefits. NASM says, “A Romanian deadlift is a hip-hinge pattern that works the hamstrings and glutes. It is a form of deadlift with noticeably less bend in the knee, leading to greater hamstring engagement than traditional deadlifts. The move was introduced to the masses in the 90s by Romanian weightlifter Nicu Vlad (an Olympic and World Weightlifting champion) and his coach Dragomir Cioroslan. The two invented the move to help Nicu strengthen his back for the clean and jerk. Today, RDLs are commonly used to strengthen the posterior chain, using the core muscles to stabilize and the hamstrings and glutes to drive the movement.”

She Does Lunges

Another exercise that French is seen doing in her Instagram post is lunges. NASM says that they are very beneficial. “The lunge is a versatile, simple and effective movement for lower body training. Various positions, planes of motion and speeds can all yield different training adaptations for the exerciser. Lunges are the gift that keeps on giving!”

She Does Squats

French is seen doing squats in her Instagram video. According to The Cleveland Clinic, squats are very beneficial. “Here’s a quick look at the many benefits of squats, also known as bodyweight squats or air squats: Works major muscle groups. Burns calories. Strengthens your core. Improves lower body strength. Enhances stability and balance. Betters your posture.”

According to The Mayo Clinic, hamstring curls are very beneficial. “The seated hamstring curl is an exercise you can do with a weight machine to work the muscles in the back of the thigh. As the name implies, the seated hamstring curl targets the hamstring muscles here in the back of the thigh. Strong hamstring muscles help to protect your ligaments in the knee.”

She Does Hip Thrusts

French shared this video on Instagram of herself doing hip thrusts. She captioned it, “Hip Thrusts are no doubt one of the best exercises for building your Glutes but of course with any exercise, the form has to be correct for you to see the maximum benefits…✖️ Feet too far forwards will engage your hamstrings more ✖️ Feet too close to you will engage your quads more ✔️ Feet placed so your calves are vertical will engage your glutes more.”
