She Meditates
"It's funny how the people who could really benefit from meditation are often the ones who can't find the time to do it," says Gadot. "It's quick, it's easy to use, and it really helps me feel present," says the Wonder Woman star to Shape. "That and getting enough quality sleep are the keys for me." She uses the Headspace app.
She Does Interval Training
"I like to do interval training, and I'm super grateful that I can do those workouts in my gym at home. I try to get to it every day, but sometimes it's more like three to four times a week. It's been a bit challenging to carve out the time with the family at home," she told Shape.
She Really Hydrates
"I think that staying hydrated is a big thing. And especially for me when I travel all the time, this is something that always makes me feel energized and good. Now, as a philosophy of life that I have is, we live in such a modern, hectic, busy, pressured lives; and something that is really big for me is balance and finding the balance in everything that we do and finding ways to really charge ourselves both physically, mentally, spiritually and emotionally," she told HuffPo. "When it comes to my body, I make sure I drink water. I make sure I work out. I make sure whatever I consume as much as I can is healthy and good for me."
This is Her Training for Wonder Woman
"It's months of training and being on a special diet. And of course, at all times drinking lots of water, because especially when you're training it's a must for the muscles as well. We do a lot of gym strengthening work and a lot of stunt and choreography workouts. And I incorporated some Pilates into the last movie because I was like, 'I need to do something that is good for me and not just compress the body,' so we do Pilates as well. And yeah, it's very intensive. But I must say that after a couple of months of being very exhausted doing it every day, you really get into it and you'll be amazed by what your body can do," she told HuffPo.
She Always Thinks About Wellness
"I'm a mother, I'm a working woman, I do this [and that], I travel… If I don't think about wellness, I'll be burnt out," Gadot told IntheKnow. "We're all living in a very modern, demanding and hectic world, and we need to find a way to balance ourselves."
She Does Pilates
"I change it all the time, because I found that whenever I do one thing for too long [of a] period of time, I get bored of it and then I end up not doing anything," Gadot told InTheKnow. "I did a lot of pilates, I walk a lot, I do a lot of hikes, I'm back in the gym now and I swim — which helps me meditate, in a way. There's something super meditative about it."
