Atkinson’s fiance, Gorka Marquez, is a professional dancer on Strictly Come Dancing, and the two have a child together. Marquez’s job means that he has a busy schedule, and occasionally goes on tour. However, Atkinson still manages to work out when her partner is away, and she has to take care of her household alone. Mainly, she wakes up early to get a workout in. She wrote on her Instagram stories, “When Gorks was away working though my mum helped while I went to work, but training wise I just set my alarm for 5:30 to get it done before she woke up."

Gemma Atkinson is taking a trip down memory lane in her swimsuit. In one of her latest social media posts, the British actress shares a flashback with her fans, a compilation of photos. In one of them she shows off her body in a bathing suit. “My phones rubbing it in reminding me of that time 5 years ago today when we weren’t exhausted,” she captioned the video. 1. Healthy, Well-Rounded Diet

Gemma starts with a healthy diet. “I'll either have poached eggs on a bagel with avocado and some greens, or I'll have my porridge with almonds, berries and honey," she told Hello. She has “a smoothie mid-morning with whey protein, coconut milk, almonds, frozen spinach, frozen broccoli and frozen cauliflower,” she added. "I make a butternut squash but I put cashew nuts in it which makes it nice and creamy," she continued. "Lunch can be a big salad or chickpeas with pesto or veg or some Mexican rice. I've always loved Mexican food. I think it's been ten years since I ate any red meat but I used to love fish tacos. " And for dinner? "Sometimes I'll just have a shake before bed or sometimes Gorka will make a Spanish omelette which is great." Gemma also carries around nuts to snack on. "It's nutrition but it's fast. I always have them out with me in a bumbag when I'm walking - it's a lot better than snacking on your crisps or biscuits," she told Hello.

Gemma makes sure to get enough sleep. 'I get up at 4.30am to present Manchester’s Key 103 Breakfast Show. I swear by getting six hours’ sleep,” she told Women’s Health.

3. Hydration

Gemma makes sure to hydrate, “drinking three litres of water a day,” she told Women’s Health. According to the U.S. National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine men should drink about 15.5 cups (3.7 liters) of fluids a day and women about 11.5 cups (2.7 liters) of fluids. According to the Mayo Clinic, hydration is important for a variety of reasons. Water helps get rid of waste through urination, perspiration, and bowel movements, keeps your temperature normal, lubricates and cushions joints, and helps protect sensitive tissues.

4. “Heavy” Weight Training

Gemma’s approach to exercise “does involve a lot of heavy weight training. I’ve always gone to the gym – but this taught me to focus on the quality of my workouts, not the quantity,” she told Women’s Health.

5. Weekend Rest and Cheat Mea4ls

“The weekend is my time to rest. I don’t train – I’ll go for long dog walks instead. If I fancy it, I’ll have pizza, pasta or a glass of wine. I aim for 80% what my body needs, and 20% what it wants,” Gemma told Women’s Health.

Humes says that she keeps her haircare routine simple. “I try not to over complicate it,” she says. “I use a product called Twisted Sista 30 Second Curl Spray, £5.89, that helps to define my curls. You mist it onto super wet hair and scrunch it in. After that, I'll use a curl cream, which I'm constantly switching up, or a leave-in conditioner - both are a great way to keep my curls healthy.”

Humes shared some of her favorite skincare products and tips to WhoWhatWear. She says that staying moisturized is important to her. “I’d put some moisturiser on. I use the Bobbi Brown Vitamin Enriched Face Base (£45), and I just think it’s the best moisturiser for my skin. I use the eye cream as well. It’s the best thing to go on underneath makeup because I can’t bear it when moisturiser starts rolling off when you put stuff on top. This one just sits on the skin really well, and it can hold makeup, which is important.”

One of Humes’ favorite skincare products is retinol. She tells WhoWhatWear, “The other bit of advice is that I always put my eye cream on before anything else. I'll use retinol maybe once a week, but because the eye area is so delicate, it means you have a kind of barrier to protect that area before using any actives. I'm really into using different ingredients. You just have to be careful with those harsher things [like retinol], but they work so well. They're nothing to be scared of. You hear hyaluronic acid and think, Acid on my face? But it’s so good for hydration. I adore skincare.”

In her WhoWhatWear interview, Humes opened up about her fitness routine, and her favorite exercises. “Pilates is my favourite form of exercise, and I really needed that in lockdown,” she says. “I do feel good after it. As much as I might dread getting up to do it in the morning, I’ve never ever regretted doing an exercise in my life. You just have to think of afterward.”

Last year, Malik gave fans a look at her workout routine in an Instagram video, where she powered through hanging crunches, lunges, and weightlifting sessions. She captioned the post, “Got some major work to do before my next session,” proving that even elite athletes are always striving to improve. She Lifts Weights

Malik is seen doing a lot of weight lifting in her Instagram video. Malik is seen doing core workouts, like hanging crunches in her Instagram video. Core workouts are extremely important. The Mayo Clinic says, “While it takes aerobic activity to burn fat in your stomach, core exercises can strengthen and tone the underlying muscles. Malik captioned it, “Got some major work to do before my next session.” Asphalt Green says that pull-ups have a lot of benefits. “Pull-ups are a fantastic way to improve upper-body strength. This exercise primarily targets your back and biceps, but involves many stabilizing muscles in your core, arms, and shoulders. Depending on the way you grip the bar, you can even work your chest. Plus, you don’t need any fancy equipment to do a pull-up. Tree branches, scaffolding, and even door frames are all places people can do pull-ups.”

Golf is obviously one of the ways that Malik keeps herself in shape. Better Health says that the sport has a lot of benefits. “Golf can be good for your health and your heart. Walking an average course for a round of golf can be between five to seven kilometres. If you walk 18 holes three to five times a week, you’ll get an optimal amount of endurance exercise for your heart. If you pull your clubs or carry them, you’ll burn even more calories each round and benefit even more.”

She Uses A Stairclimber

In her Instagram post, Guper is seen using the stairclimber. Stair workouts have a lot of health benefits. She Does Lunges

Guper shared some of her favorite lower body workouts in this Instagram video. One thing she is seen doing is lunges. According to The Mayo Clinic, lunges have a lot of benefits. “The lunge is a body resistance exercise that works the leg muscles. Specifically, the lunge targets the quadriceps and the hamstring muscles in the thigh, the gluteal muscles in the buttock, and to a lesser extent, the lower leg muscles.”

In the previous Instagram video, Guper is seen using the leg extension machine.
