She Loves to Fish
Genevieve, who grew up in a small town, loves to fish. As a kid, she enjoyed "catching frogs and digging up worms," she revealed. "Fish is a very important part of a healthy diet. Fish and other seafood are the major sources of healthful long-chain omega-3 fats and are also rich in other nutrients such as vitamin D and selenium, high in protein, and low in saturated fat. There is strong evidence that eating fish or taking fish oil is good for the heart and blood vessel," says Harvard Health.
She Has Struggled with Anxiety
"The biggest thing I learned about myself from the experience is that I'm very emotionally strong. I've struggled with anxiety and being on the show tested my patience and my anxiety. But seeing how I got through it made me really proud of myself," she told Bachelor Nation.
She Takes Me Time
Gevevieve knows when to take "me" time. "It was honestly hard coming back from filming, especially for a few weeks. But seeing my family, being with my friends, and getting rest were the best things I could've done. I took time for myself and that's how I got back into everything," she told Bachelor Nation.
She Is Herself and Also Works on Herself
Genevieve is known for being authentic, at any cost. "I just hope that I gave people some confidence to stick up for themselves. I did my best to do that the entire time on the show. I was myself and stood up for myself and my friends when I felt like it was the right thing to do," she told Bachelor Nation. "On the show, I realized that I need to be better about opening up, being vulnerable, and letting my walls down. So since getting back from 'The Bachelor,' I haven't done much dating since I've been back but I have been more open. That's really what I learned from the experience is that I need to be more open or I'm not going to get anywhere when it comes to a relationship."
She Is All About Girl Power
Genevieve is all about girl power. Her social media feed is filled with photos of herself and the gal pals she made on the show. "I am forever grateful for the best thing that came from this experience – the friendships I've made. Some of these girls have truly become my best friends and it's crazy that it all started with us "fighting" for the same man. The 2am talks, family dinners, laughing (until some of us peed our pants I will not mention names), traveling the world together telling people we are an equestrian team- I'll hold the memories in my heart forever," she confessed in an Instagram post.
