She Made A Change
Kasaei lost a serious amount of weight. She documented her transformation on Instagram, and encouraged her followers to make changes in their lifestyles. "It's never too late to make a change," she wrote. "I did it, so can you. I've gone from a size 16 to a size 8 in the last 6 months."
She Reflected
In an Instagram video, Kasaei revealed what inspired her to make her lifestyle changes. She says that she reflected on her body, and came to the realization. "There were pictures of me on the beach in June, and it was at that point where I thought 'is that actually me?' I couldn't believe it was me. I never thought I was that big. I was so in denial about my weight."
She's More Focused
In the same Instagram video, Kasaei says that her new relationship status helped inspire her to make changes. She ended a very public relationship, and she says that it allowed her to focus more on herself. "Being single now has made me more focused. It's helped me focus on what I want."
She Changed Her Diet
Kasaei told The Sun that the biggest lifestyle change she made was to her diet. "So as time went on, I did look at my weight and what I was eating. I used to wake up, have crisps for breakfast, have about four takeaways a day, never cooked a healthy meal, and then I started to think about my body and what I've done to it. From there I lost weight, I felt better in myself."
She's More Confident
Kasaei didn't just change her diet and fitness. She also changed her outlook on life, and gained more self-confidence. She tells The Sun, "I did grow up a bit. I stopped doubting myself. I stopped being that person that was like 'I'm never gonna get that; the girls are more famous than me; they're more popular, more rich; I'll never be like that'. I'd kept this mindset for so long and I wasn't getting anywhere."
