1. She Believes In Routines
In her Instagram video, Paltrow stresses the importance of routines. She says that they have had a large impact on her life. “Routines are powerful, and not all of them require a gargantuan amount of self discipline,” she writes. “But they can be a signal to yourself that you are important. Routines continue to help me make meaningful shifts in the way I live.”
2. She Does Yoga

In her Instagram post, Paltrow revealed what her first routine was. She says that she started doing yoga in her 20’s, and that it helped her a lot. “When I was about 25, I started a pretty serious, six-morning-a-week ashtanga yoga practice, which completely changed the way I framed my day and the way I viewed myself.”
3. She Uses Clean Products
Paltrow is open about living a clean life. This extends to the products she uses on her skin. In a video for Vogue, Paltrow revealed that she uses clean beauty products. "It's incredible to know that there are clean, non-toxic products that are really efficacious and really work wonders on your skin," Paltrow said.
4. She Eats Healthy
Paltrow makes sure to eat a healthy diet. She revealed her typical diet to Shape. "I just try to eat pretty clean during the day. Good proteins, lots of vegetables, not too much grain or sugar, and nothing baked.”
5. She’s Conscious Of Her Choices

While Paltrow eats healthy, she doesn’t mind indulging once in a while. However, she tells Women’s Health that she makes conscious choices when it comes to eating. “You want deliciousness, you want a fun life—pleasure! You're going to have a baguette-and-cheese-and-red-wine frenzy sometimes—but you want it to be a choice you're awake to: ‘I know this might not make me feel great, but today I'm choosing it anyway.’”
