Her #1 Exercise Rule

"My number one thing, considering my crazy, crazy schedule, is that I try to devote at least 15 minutes a day to getting some sort of physical activity in, whether it's riding a bike, taking a walk, even just walking around in my backyard for 15 minutes—just something to get some fresh air and the blood pumping," she told Byrdie.

She Loves to Dance

"I also spend a lot of time dancing when I'm on the road touring or if I have a performance coming up and I'm in rehearsals. I have six eight-hour dance rehearsals and that's where I get my workout in. Dance is definitely my workout of choice because I love the fact that it never really feels like I'm working out. Before I know it, hours have gone by, and I'm sweating and feel great," she told Byrdie.

She Eats Like This

"I try to have a good solid meal or at least some kind of snack every three to four hours," she's said, according to OK, which adds she likes "grilled chicken, broccoli and brown rice, but she doesn't deny cravings." "Scrambled eggs, pancakes, what else? I love it all," she said once. "You know what the best thing in the world is? French toast with corn flakes. I had them in New York, I wish I could remember where, and it's French toast coated in corn flakes. It's kind of insane."

She Travels With Resistance Bands

"It keeps my head clear and keeps me in check," she said, according to Delish. "My dad's a personal fitness trainer, and he really helps me create a workout in the space that I'm in, wherever I am. I travel with resistance bands, so I'll jump rope and do a combination of movements [to stay toned]."

She Likes to Kickbox

"It took me so long to get it right, but now, I've been doing it for so long that I didn't think anything of it," she said. "Exercising with others gives you a sense of camaraderie and support and may push you to perform better or at a higher intensity as you watch others challenge themselves. Remember: You can get these benefits from any type of class. Find something that appeals to you, whether it's yoga, kickboxing, Pilates or dancing," says the Mayo Clinic.

This is Her Mental Health Message

"Talk to someone, whether it's your parents or a friend or a counselor. I think it's important to not isolate yourself," she told HuffPost. "I was with a friend the other day who is also an artist and I was backstage and I was really nervous. In that moment I just instinctually removed myself from everyone and went and kind of just sat in the corner. My friend was like, 'you know what would help with this is just being around people.' And it did. Know that it's OK to feel the way you're feeling and express yourself to people around you."
