Hailey recently divulged to Harper's Bazaar that she tries to keep animal products to a minimum. "I tried a plant-based diet for two months during quarantine," she said. "I felt great and I had a lot of energy, but it was not for me. I don't eat a strictly plant-based diet and I do still eat meat. I just don't eat a lot of it. I've picked up more fish, greens, and lentils." Her diet consists of “a lot of vegetables and fish, not much meat, minimal dairy,” she revealed to Byrdi. “I just feel better when I eat that way."
2. Pilates Is Her Favorite Workout

She also revealed that she started taking Zoom classes during the pandemic. “It was very jarring to go from a busy lifestyle where I’m constantly moving to complete standstill, so I gave myself a quarantine workout routine,” she told Bazaar. “I used to be a dancer, so I love Pilates because it really elongates and strengthens my muscles. That’s probably my favorite workout.”
3. She Also Loves Boxing

Hailey also maintains her fighting form via boxing. “I also recently started to box for some cardio,” she told Bazaar. “I found that remembering the combinations and learning how move your body in boxing has been good for mental health.” "This kind of boxing has many health benefits, because it constantly requires you to think, change your position, and change your posture," physical therapist Linda Arslanian, director of rehabilitation services at Harvard-affiliated Brigham and Women's hospital, tells Harvard Health.
4. She Does Cleanses

Hailey once told Byrdie that she is a fan of cleanses. "Right now I'm on this 10-day metabolic cleanse where I have to drink a protein shake a few times a day and then have a super-strict diet," she said. According to Eat This, Not That!: "Truth is, you don't need to kill yourself with a 'detox' regime this New Year's for rapid weight loss, or to cleanse your body of the damage you over the holidays. Good news is your liver and kidneys do a mighty fine job at the cleanse thing without juices, fasts, or strange concoctions. And there are a handful of foods—delicious ones—with impressive detoxifying and slimming properties, including tea."
5. This Is Her Cheat Meal

Like the majority of stars, Hailey treats herself every once and a while. "A really good cheat day?" she told Byrdie. "A cheeseburger and fries." According to the Cleveland Clinic: "Kate Patton, MEd, RD, CSSD, LD, is OK with cheat meals as a positive reward — as long as you offset the extra calories somewhere else in the day. 'You can exercise for a longer period of time or at greater intensity, for example,' she says."
