"My meditative practice is my way to remain strong and centered for myself as well as my children when things are overwhelming. She Works Out With A Large Tire
Berry likes to use different pieces of workout equipment. She revealed in this Instagram post that she likes to use large tires to help her workout. "This week we bring out one of my favorite toys … the giant tire. I love using unique equipment that offers several workout variations and keeps exercise interesting. Not ONLY do tire workouts effectively challenge you, bringing out the badass warrior that you are, they are the perfect way to work on both physique AND cardio."
She Loves Lemon Water & Amino Acids
Berry's personal trainer, Peter Lee Thomas, opened up about the actress' diet and exercise to HollywoodLife. "First of all, Halle never eats breakfast," he says. "She starts her day with a big glass of water, about 8-12 oz., usually with a little lemon squeezed into it for flavor. And then directly after that, she will take her amino acids. She takes something called Master Amino Pattern by a company called Purium."
She Puts MCT Oil In Coffee
Berry likes to put MCT oil when she has coffee. "The next thing she has is her coffee," Thomas says to HollywoodLife. "In her coffee, she adds one to two tablespoons of MCT oil. MCT oil, or medium chain triglycerides, is a big deal for people that follow the ketogenic diet, that's like the fountain of youth."
She Limits Her Sugar Intake
Berry tells Women's Health that she limits the amount of sugar she eats. "The only time I eat sweets these days is on my kids' birthdays," she says. "And that's for them, not me! I'll snack on low-sugar fruits like blackberries and raspberries, but that's about it."
