Don't Eat Complex Carbohydrates

Heather suggests avoiding complex carbohydrates."I've become one of those annoying people who's like, 'I'm not gonna eat white flour and I'm not gonna eat sugar.' And I will sometimes eat things with white flour, but I try to avoid white flour," she explained to Refinery29.

Do Yoga

Heather does several hour long sessions of yoga three times a week. "I'm obsessed with yoga. For fun, I would go on a yoga retreat and do four hours of yoga a day," she told Refinery29. "Grateful to be in a beach doing yoga with @ninabergman," she captioned this Instagram post.

"Pilates is a great form of exercise for most populations," says Spilde, "especially those looking for some toning and flexibility help. It can be modified somewhat or scaled down to fit everyone's needs," says researcher Stefanie Spilde.

Graham makes sure to get her z's. "I love sleeping," she told The Guardian. "When I tell people how much I sleep sometimes, they are horrified. I basically sleep between nine and 12 hours a night." ""Regularly sleeping fewer than the number of recommended hours is associated with attention, behavior, and learning problems," says AAP. "Insufficient sleep also increases the risk of accidents, injuries, hypertension, obesity, diabetes and depression."

5

Don't Drink Alcohol

You won't find Graham throwing down drinks at happy hour. "Recently, I've stopped drinking," she told The Independent. "I'm kind of goofy enough to have fun without drinking. So by the time everyone gets relaxed, I'm like, 'OK, I was already there two hours ago.'" "Over time, excessive alcohol use can lead to the development of chronic diseases and other serious problems," says the CDC.

6
