She Works Out Regularly
Klum says her workouts are not too long, but that she does workout often. Klum told the website Buro 24/7, "I don't really exercise that much. I don't think you have to do a lot, but if you do a little bit [regularly], I think that's important."
She Has A Workout Buddy
Klum says that she likes to go to the gym with a friend, and thinks it helps her stay in shape. Klum told Glamour, "My best advice is to workout with a buddy. They keep you motivated and get you out of bed."
She Starts Her Day With A Smoothie
"One thing the kids and I do every morning is have a smoothie," Klum tells Women's Health. Klum keeps fresh produce in her fridge at all times, and she makes her smoothies with fruit and vegetables.
She's Smart With Carbs
Klum tells Women's Health that she incorporates carbs into her diet, but is smart about which carb-heavy foods she eats. "There's pasta, bread, chicken, fish and vegetables," she says. "I'll eat everything but the pasta and bread. Do I want pasta? I do. I choose not to eat it." However, Klum says that she does indulge from time to time. "I was out for dinner recently, and truffles are in season. I had to have the truffle pizza and the truffle pasta. So it's not like I don't indulge, just not all the time."
She Cooks A Lot, And Avoids Eating Out
Klum says that while she doesn't stick to a diet, she tries to cook a lot of her own food. In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Klum said, "I don't really have a specific diet, I just eat very healthfully. I also have four children, so we cook a lot." Klum says she avoids eating out or ordering in. "I think when you eat out a lot or when you order food in a lot then it kind of gets a little tricky, because you don't know what people are putting in there."
