She Exfoliates with Coffee

Helena shared a clip of herself exfoliating her legs in the river with coffee grounds. "I have a yearning to be in the water. If there's a pond or a river or a stream or the ocean, it's calling me. I just have to get in," she told Sydney Morning Herald. She revealed that her go-to treatment is a "river-side exfoliator." She mixes coffee grounds with coconut butter and a few drops of herb or flower essential oil. "I mix it all together and use that as a body exfoliator. I take it with me down to the river, and I sit there on a rock and scrub. It makes you feel good and gives you a rush in your body. Which definitely makes it better when you jump into the river straight after," she said.

The best advice Helena's ever gotten? "I'm still waiting on the best piece of advice, but, if I was going to give myself a good piece of advice it would be to get enough sleep, to drink way more water, but also something that I absolutely live by – try and be in the moment, no matter what, every single day," she told Karen Millen.

The key to self-confidence? "I think, is mostly about not caring too much what anyone else thinks of you. Despite this you should absolutely be kind, be fair, be honest and believe in yourself," she told Karen Millen.

She Spends Time in Nature

Helena is living her best life when she is in nature. [It is] "almost like a therapist to me – it's everything," she told Sydney Morning Herald. "Wherever I am in the world, I always find the little parks, the green spots. I need to hear the birds, I need to see green. Nature recharges me in every possible way. I like to think I was a mermaid in my last life."

She Does Yoga

Helena is one of the many stars who gets her zen on. "It took me years to get into yoga because I wasn't into the whole spiritual thing. I didn't want to go to a class and have to chant, though I know it helps so many people. I finally found a place where we get right into it, and I end up leaving completely re-energised and totally sweaty," she explained to Harper's Bazaar UK.

She Doesn't Diet

Was dieting ever a part of Helena's life? "Never – the whole [idea of] dieting was not in my universe. For me, having anyone tell me when I was in my 20s, 'Oh my god, you look so great and you're so skinny,' I would actually be so upset," she told Sydney Morning Herald. "I don't care if I look beautiful to anyone else, and it's not even about looking beautiful per se, it's about just feeling and looking healthy." Food is a crucial part of her life. "A big part of that is growing up with a South American mother who was in the kitchen all day cooking for me and my sister and my dad. We ate everything from the moment we entered this world, and I've been like that ever since. That's how I brought my own kid up – there is nothing we don't eat."
