She Doesn't Strive For Perfection
Willoughby is no longer striving for perfection. She opened up about this to Grazia. "For a long time the focus was on work, business, having it all, being the perfect mum, the perfect friend, the perfect wife, the perfect woman in the boardroom, the perfect boss, all of those things. All of that 'perfection' was fine if that's what you want, but it had to have a bit more stability underneath. If you focus on all of that stuff, then it won't feel completely whole unless you yourself feel in a good place and space. Get that bit right, and all the other stuff falls into place."
She's True To Herself
Willoughby is all about being true to herself. And she wants other people to have this same attitude. Willoughby talked about this in her Grazia interview. "No one else can do me like me," she says. "I am perfect for me. And you are perfect at you."
She Focuses On Being Healthy
Willoughby is pretty tight lipped about her wellness routine. However, she tells Prima Magazine that she keeps her wellness simple. "I try not to focus too much on my appearance," she revealed. "As long as I'm being healthy, that's good enough for me. I'm quite active and I try not to let the way I look be the main focus because it's not the important thing."
She Meditates
Willoughby is open about her love of meditation. She did an interview with Beeja Meditation's, Will Williams. In it, she talked about how she started meditating, and how it has effected her. "My introduction to meditation was your book," she says to Williams. "A friend bought me this, this is my exact book that I read on a beach over Christmas one time and just kind of just was completely sucked in by it all."
She Wants To Be A Role Model
Willoughby tells Prima that she wants to be a good role model and spread important messages. She says that this is the reason that she doesn't like talking about her wellness. "I don't want to encourage eating disorders," she says. "I actually avoid talking about my diet and exercise regime because I have interviewed so many people affected by eating disorders and I know that some people in chat rooms can really fixate on other people's diets. I just can't contribute to that."
