Bri Teresi is hitting the golf course in her workout gear. In a new social media post the influencer shows off her amazing body and swing while playing a game of golf. “Finally back in Florida! ⛳️ Let’s tee it up,” she captioned the Instagram photo and video, wearing a red top and white pleated skirt. How does she approach diet, fitness, and self-care? Here is everything you need to know about her lifestyle habits.

1. Hiking

Bri is a fan of outdoor exercise. "[I stay in shape] by hiking,” she revealed during an Instagram Q&A. According to the National Parks Service, the physical benefits of hiking include:

  • Building stronger muscles and bones
  • Improving your sense of balance
  • Improving your heart health
  • Decreasing the risk of certain respiratory problems

2. Balanced Diet

Bri avoids crash diets. Instead she takes a healthy approach to food, fueling her body with what it needs. "I stay thin because I eat a healthy, balanced diet. It's not really about exercise for me," she said during the Q&A.

3. Strength Training

In a Q&A Bri revealed that “weight lifting” is another workout she loves. According to the Mayo Clinic, strength and weight training help reduce body fat, preserve and increase lean muscle mass, and burn calories more efficiently. Strength training may also help you:

  • Develop strong bones
  • Manage your weight
  • Enhance your quality of life
  • Manage chronic conditions
  • Sharpen your thinking skills

4. Yoga

Bri gets her zen on. Yoga is amazing for the body and mind, says Harvard Health. “Researchers found that people who practiced yoga for at least 30 minutes once a week for at least four years, gained less weight during middle adulthood,” they said. “People who were overweight actually lost weight. Overall, those who practiced yoga had lower body mass indexes (BMIs) compared with those who did not practice yoga. Researchers attributed this to mindfulness. Mindful eating can lead to a more positive relationship with food and eating.”

5. Golfing

In her recent post, Bri goes golfing. Why is it a great sport? According to a review of studies published in the British Journal of Sports Medicine golf's health benefits are extensive, including mind, body, and even lifespan. Benefits include improved longevity, decreased risk of developing heart disease or suffering a stroke, good mental health, and improved strength and balance.
