In it, she explains everything she has learned this year, including how to ask and accept help from others, stepped out of her comfort zone, and working through “mom guilt.” “So 32 I’m ready for you,” she added in the Instagram post. How does she stay so fit? Read on to see 5 ways Iskra Lawrence stays in shape and the photos that prove they work—and to get beach-ready yourself, don't miss these essential 30 Best-Ever Celebrity Bathing Suit Photos!

1. She Suffered From Body Dysmorphia

Iskra, who began her career as a model in her teens, suffered from body image issues. “If being a teenager wasn’t hard enough already, she entered the modeling world at 13 and had a new set of peers to compare herself to—a group that consisted exclusively of sample-sized models. “Relatively I was just a normal, healthy-looking teen. But I developed body dysmorphia and an eating disorder because I had these unrealistic comparisons,” she told Women’s Health.

2. She Avoids Using Negative Terminology

Iskra avoids using negative terminology to talk about her body. She refuses to use words like “flaw” or “problem area” and replaces other words like cellulite and stretch marks with terms CelluLIT and tiger stripes. “If you can get rid of that negative terminology or embrace it, it’s going to make you feel better,” she told Women’s Health.

3. She Drinks a Nutritious Smoothie in the Morning

Iskra explained to Life & Style that she likes to start her day off with a smoothie. “Lately, I’ve just been having a smoothie for breakfast because I’ve been at home and I have all my powders and protein, collagen, spinach and I’m literally going crazy,” the U.K. native, 28, said of her diet. “It gets me excited about the day because I know I’m fueling myself with good stuff.”

4. She Switches Up Her Lunch and Dinners

Iskra maintains variety with the rest of her meals. “For lunch, it can be literally anything. I love Asian food and making my own noodles or stir fry,” she told Life & Style. “For dinner, I love going out. It’s so nice getting together with friends and go out for a nice meal.”

5. She Mixes Up Her Workouts

Iskra does a lot of workouts. Not only does she do strength training in the gym and goes for walks, but loves to strike a pose. “I just tried aerial yoga for the first time,” Iskra revealed to Life & Style. “I really recommend it. It was a little bit painful because of the pressure points, but I felt amazing afterwards. You have to try it.”

1. She Is True To Herself

Lawrence says when you watch her on TV, what you see is what you get. “I hope people think I represented Toronto well,” she says about her time on Too Hot To Handle. “I just was 100 percent myself. I was like, you know what? I’m just going to be the crazy one on the show, the dorky one, completely myself. I was just like, I’ll just be the weird one. Yeah, I think I did good, I hope. For me it was easy because I just didn’t have to think about it. I just said what I wanted to say, I did what I wanted to do.”

2. She’s a Homebody

Lawrence is a Toronto native, and knows exactly where she would take someone on a date to explore the city. "I probably would take them to maybe The Chase, Harbour 60 is nice, and then go down to the water,” she says. “Honestly, I'm a really big homebody. I like to go to a couple bars but then I like to come home for my dogs."

3. She Loves To Swim and Dive

Lawrence is an accomplished swimmer and diver. “Research has shown that being near, in, on or under water can provide a long list of benefits for our mind and body, including lowering stress and anxiety, increasing an overall sense of well-being and happiness, a lower heart and breathing rate, and safe, better workouts,” says Dr. Wallace J. Nichols, author of the book Blue Mind.

4. She Lifts Weights

Lawrence works out hard—and she isn’t afraid of heavy weights. “Lean muscle mass naturally diminishes with age,” says the Mayo Clinic. “Your body fat percentage will increase over time if you don't do anything to replace the lean muscle you lose over time. Strength training can help you preserve and enhance your muscle mass at any age.”

5. She Knows What She Wants From Relationships

“What I want in a relationship—this is what I need in a partner, what's important to me,” Lawrence says. “I need a guy who's going to respect me and listens to me. Really feeling safe with a partner, trust is a huge thing for me. I've had my trust broken so many times, girlfriends, boyfriends, family... so my biggest thing is trust. I want to be able to trust my partner.”

Too Hot To Handle star Carly Lawrence is enjoying the sunshine and blue skies in the beautiful state of Georgia. Lawrence posted a picture of herself looking tan and fit while posing in a bright fruit-patterned bikini, her hair loose around her shoulders. “Gorgeous,” an admiring fan commented. “Perfect,” said another. How does Lawrence maintain her physique? Here are 5 ways the reality star stays fit.

1. Newlywed Lifestyle

Lawrence married Love Island USA's Bennett Sipes in May 2022 in Los Angeles, and says she is living a healthier life these days. "I've cut out drinking and partying because we're going to Hawaii," she says. "We spend a lot of time with our families, with our dogs and we're so focused on work right now. We have fun, we go to dinner and stuff. We see some of our friends."

2. She Lifts Weights

Lawrence lifts heavy weights as part of her exercise routine. “Lean muscle mass naturally diminishes with age,” according to the Mayo Clinic. “Your body fat percentage will increase over time if you don't do anything to replace the lean muscle you lose over time. Strength training can help you preserve and enhance your muscle mass at any age.”

3. She’s a Homebody

Lawrence describes herself as a homebody, and loves quiet time with her pets. “When we’re frazzled, our fight-or-flight response is on overload causing a host of problems,” says clinical health psychologist Amy Sullivan, PsyD, ABPP. “We can use calm, quiet moments to tap into a different part of the nervous system that helps shut down our bodies’ physical response to stress.”

4. Business Woman

Small,Cosmetic,Bottle,For,Cream,Or,Gel,Designed,With,CircularShutterstock

Lawrence is taking a step into the business world by releasing her own perfume. "I bought every perfume we could think of,” she says. “I thought, 'There's so many that I love, and I was constantly mixing perfumes.' I realized I want girls to buy one fragrance and love it and not spend a ton of money because TikTok is telling them to. It's still in the process. I've had different samples, but I didn't like any of them. This is the first thing I am putting my face on, and I want it to be perfect. I found a new chemist in America, and it's going to take about four months. It's a bunch of my favorite perfumes combined into one. It will be sweet. I am going to start with one and then hopefully it does well.”

5. Too Hot To Handle

Lawrence has fond memories of her time on Too Hot To Handle. “I was having fun, and I wasn’t thinking about it,” she says. “I didn’t care if I was going to get judged, because I knew I was going to be judged regardless. Every episode that you see is genuinely me. Who wants to look at someone who’s not genuine online? It’s too fake and it gets boring. I could tell when some people weren’t being genuine on the show. I could see it myself, and it definitely comes through on camera.”

American Pickers star Danielle Colby is sharing one of her favorite hobbies with fans: underwater swimming. Colby posted a photo of herself along with a quote by David Lynch, looking serene in a two piece swimsuit. “Meditation is to dive all the way within, beyond thought, to the source of thought and pure consciousness. It enlarges the container, every time you transcend. When you come out, you come out refreshed, filled with energy and enthusiasm for life,” she captioned the post. How does she stay so fit? Read on to see 5 ways Colby stays in shape and the photos that prove they work—and to get beach-ready yourself, don't miss these essential 30 Best-Ever Celebrity Bathing Suit Photos!

1. She Loves To Swim

Colby is an accomplished underwater swimmer. "Every time I go for a swim I feel like the earth and my incredible swim colleagues have enabled me to have experienced something pretty amazing," says Dr Jenny Martin, a physician and clinical pharmacologist at the University of Newcastle. "You get a release of hormones that make you feel good, like the molecules that are in morphine drugs, and other feel-good hormones like serotonin, dopamine. After an ocean swim in winter, you sometimes get a temporary natural high when you get out … definitely a euphoric feeling."

2. Paddle Boarding

Colby shares her adventures with paddle boarding on her social media. “I had a breakthrough today with @rinconpaddleboards I have never been able to root myself properly for longer duration. I could get up but it didn’t last long,” she says. “Damiano took the time during our private lesson to break down every detail of what’s happening on the board, in the water and in my body and how to respond for more stability. I have a long way to go and needs to stay lower and work on arm placement but I felt so happy with today’s lesson🎉 I always Learn so much.”

3. She’s a Dancer

Colby is a professional dancer, something she says changed her life from day one. “I discovered Burlesque in Chicago quite some time ago, years and years ago- I was addicted from the first show,” she says. “There’s something very empowering about Burlesque. I started learning right away, I started performing way too soon! There’s some great video footage to prove that. But it’s all been a really fun journey, even watching old videos, it’s cool to see how much more at ease I am with myself and with my audience. But it’s funny, I have maintained the same lumbering stance since I started. There’s nothing delicate about me on stage, I just throw my guts out there and then I walk away and let people sort out what they saw.”

4. Mental Health and Confidence

Colby says giving back to the community is one of the best ways to gain happiness and confidence. “My advice, for what it’s worth… If you’re trying to gain or regain confidence, don’t do it through Burlesque,” she says. “Help in your community, educate yourself, travel, find where your real strength lies.”

5. Embracing Her Unique Looks

Colby is famous for her many tattoos, something she considers a “storyline” for her life. “I don’t think I took collecting tattoos seriously at first,” she says. “I mean my first tattoo was an LBT tribal tramp stamp of a butterfly…Ha! I have definitely acquired some more impressive tattoos since then but I collect them for the story. I’m not afraid of people judging the work I have on my body, it’s a storyline for myself. I love it when my friends work on me, I love to collect the memories, I cannot have an artist work on me that I don’t feel close with. I have to feel a sense of kinship I’ve been very fortunate to find that across-the-board with my tattoo artists.”

Iskra Lawrence is brightening up social media with her latest swimsuit snap! The body confidence icon shows off her gorgeous figure in a neon green bathing suit as she dances around, offering an empowering message to fans. “Remembering to be bold and shine bright ☀️ drop a ☀️ if you’re not letting anyone or anything dull your light☀️,” she captioned the cute clip. How does the model approach health and fitness holistically? Read on to see 6 ways Iskra Lawrence promotes self-love and acceptance and the photos that prove they work—and to get beach-ready yourself, don't miss these essential 30 Best-Ever Celebrity Bathing Suit Photos!

1. She Does “The Mirror Challenge”

In an interview with Celebwell, Iskra explained that she created The Mirror Challenge on Facebook as a simple self-love practice.“I do a lot of work in front of the mirror and I've worked with people who have had, loss, close people dying, people who've gone through infertility, people who have had gone through severe weight loss, and then they've got excess skin, people who have been bullied, people who have experienced racism, and I've done the mirror challenge with all of them,” she told us. “It's the same thing that comes up every time: People are struggling with how they feel about themselves and don't even realize that they're playing a negative narrative.” The Mirror Challenge is simple: Look in the mirror and find three things you love about yourself. “A lot of people can't come up with anything. A lot of people cry, or a lot of people say I'm really stuck. And then I say to them, ‘What are you currently saying to yourself? What's the first thing that you think when you look at yourself in the mirror?’ Literally the first words that come to your head, most of them aren't very nice. They're usually unkind or they're maybe the things that bullies called you in high school and you're still holding on to them. So I do a lot of work with people to offload that and obviously talk about where that came from.” Then, she tells people they can change their narrative. “That is very, very powerful. A lot of people never give themselves eye contact. Even if you think you're looking in the mirror, you're looking at your breakouts, your hair, you're quickly looking at your outfit, you're not looking at yourself with direct eye contact. And it can be kind of jarring at the beginning. But it's a really good way to actually be very honest with how you're feeling about yourself. So I would always encourage people to do that as a starting point. It will be a complete reset, you'll figure out, ‘Oh wow. I have actually been saying to myself some unkind things. Let me try and challenge that.”

2. She Writes Daily Gratitude Lists

Iskra is all about intentional journaling. “Gratitude lists for me are a great way to challenge your mindset if you are feeling down, stressed, or anxious,” she says. She does admit that when she first started, she felt uncomfortable. “I remember when I first got my Louise Hay [affirmation book], and I was with my friend Frankie, who lived in London, and we just thought it was so silly, like getting in front of the mirror and just saying like, ‘We are powerful.’ We were just giggly you know, 21 years old and giggly and we didn't really take it seriously. We were going through our own challenges of figuring out who we wanted to be what we wanted to do with our lives. And we really needed to get something that empowered us. So we just started to say to each other, ‘Why don't we take this seriously, what's the harm?’ We did a lot of vision boarding and we worked on affirmations.’” And guess what? They worked. “You do have to put the work in, you do have to believe it, and you do have to continue using the tools over and over.”

3. She Is Open About Her Self-Love Journey

Iskra openly discusses her self-love journey with those who are close to her. “Just saying, ‘Hey, I'm trying to love myself a little bit more,’ and asking them about their self-care journey. ‘How much time do you spend on it? Do you want to sit down and plan something together?’ I think that's a really great way of implementing it into your friendship group or into your partner's life.”

4. She Connects with Nature

CFDA / Vogue Fashion Fund 2019 AwardsJamie McCarthy/Getty Images

“Just going outside,” is a great tool for self-love, says Iskra. It should involve “ideally not taking your phone if you feel safe, or keeping your phone in your pocket,” she says. “Going outside and just breathing.” It can also be great in stressful situations. “Just walking outside in nature. It just does something, gets you back in tune with the flow and your breathing.”

5. She Doesn’t “Punish” Herself

Casa Del Sol And Kelly Wearstler Launch Casa Del Sol In AustinRick Kern/Getty Images

Iskra hasn’t always had a healthy relationship with diet and exercise. “As someone who's had an eating disorder and had body dysmorphia, I used to see exercise as punishment, and I used to simply see it as a means to burn more calories, so I could be in calorie deficit,” she told Celebwell. Once she found “that joy in movement” and realized that exercise didn’t have to be “all or nothing” she started to enjoy it. “Now I know that there are so many different ways I can move my body,” she said.

6. She Challenges Herself

Iskra gives herself little challenges. “When I do find a new challenge. I then feel really accomplished when I do something that's either unexpected or I know is empowering,” she said.

Ana Zelu is a professional model and social media influencer. She is known for her content in nature. Zelu recently shared a post on Instagram of herself on a surfboard in the ocean. She captioned it, “Yesterday was such a fun shoot, I just had to share these with you 🤍 🛥️But picture number #4?? That photobomb totally got me 😂 Which picture is your favorite ?🌊”

She Swims

As you can see from her post, Zelu likes to swim. The Mayo Clinic states that swimming has a lot of benefits. “Swimming is often touted as a great workout for all ages, offering benefits not only for the body, but also for the mind. As a form of exercise, swimming keeps your heart rate up and builds muscle strength. It also can be a great form of stress relief.”

She Doesn't Compare Herself to Others

Zelu shares a lot of her thoughts on Instagram. In this post, she talked about no longer comparing herself to others. “Dear Diary 💭📝, Today’s contemplation led me to a profound understanding of the detrimental impact comparison has on our lives. It’s like a silent intruder, subtly creeping into our thoughts and poisoning our perception of ourselves and others. It’s a universal struggle, one that weighs heavily on the hearts of many. I’ve come to realize that comparison is the ultimate thief of joy. It robs us of our ability to appreciate our own journey and achievements, as we constantly measure ourselves against an idealized version of others. I’ve resolved to break free from its grasp. We should choose to celebrate our own unique path, recognizing that each step forward is a triumph in itself. Rather than fixating on external benchmarks set by others, I’m focusing on personal growth and development. Whether it’s through learning new skills, cultivating gratitude, or simply practicing self-compassion, every effort counts.”

She Hikes

Zelu is seen on a hike in the previous Instagram post. Harvard Health states that hiking is very beneficial. “Like brisk walking, hiking is a good way to improve your cardiovascular fitness, particularly if your route includes some hills, which will force your heart to work harder. Taking a hike on the slightly uneven surface of a trail also provides a natural way to engage the core muscles in your torso and to hone your balance skills.”

She’s Resilient

Resilience is another important thing to Zelu. She talked about this in the caption of this Instagram post. “Dear Diary 💭📝, I witnessed something truly remarkable that touched my heart deeply. It’s amazing how people can go through the toughest storms in life and yet remain gentle, patient, and kind. I saw someone who faced challenges that would break most people, yet they chose to respond with grace and humility. Their ability to stay calm and compassionate in the face of adversity is nothing short of admirable. It made me realize the beauty of resilience – the strength to keep going even when life throws its hardest punches. These individuals not only endure the storms but also emerge from them with a spirit that shines brighter than before. Their example reminds me of the power of kindness and the importance of staying true to oneself, even in the darkest of times. It’s a reminder that even in the midst of chaos, there is beauty to be found 💕🫶”

She’s Accepted Herself

Zelu talked about the importance of acceptance in this Instagram post’s caption. “Dear Diary 💭📝, Today has been a rollercoaster of emotions, but amidst it all, I feel like I’ve taken a step closer to the right direction. Letting go of the past is like shedding a heavy coat I’ve been carrying for far too long. It’s not easy to release the memories, the pain, the regrets, but today, I made a choice to loosen the grip they had on me. It’s like taking a deep breath after being underwater for too long—refreshing and liberating. Forgiving myself has been a journey filled with tears and moments of self-doubt. But today, I finally understood that I deserve the same forgiveness and understanding I give to others. It’s like giving myself a warm hug, wrapping myself in kindness and acceptance.”

Gymless states that the exercise has a lot of health benefits. “Hip thrusts, as a compound movement, aid in increasing lower body strength and power, enhancing athletic abilities such as running, jumping, and powerlifting. By strengthening the posterior chain muscles, you can enhance your posture and lower the risk of back pain and muscle strain. Strong glutes and hamstrings contribute to hip and knee stability, minimizing injury risks in sports and daily life.”

Viciconte is seen using a stationary bike in the previous Instagram video. Doing this can help strengthen your muscles. Penn State PRO Wellness explained, “Riding a stationary bike can help build strength in your legs and lower body, especially if you use a higher resistance. The pedaling action can help strengthen your calves, hamstrings, and quadriceps. Additionally, it can work the muscles in your core, back, and glutes. If you use a bicycle with handles, you’ll also be able to work your upper body muscles, including your biceps, triceps, and shoulders.”

She Runs

Viciconte shared this Instagram video of herself working out. In it, she is seen doing running exercises. Viciconte captioned it, “When we exercise, our body releases endorphin, a natural substance produced by the brain during and after physical activity. The release of endorphin, also known as the 'joy hormone', helps you relax, reduces stress, anxiety and improves your mood. I always say that it's never too late to start moving, so you know that tomorrow you have no excuse 💪🏻”
