Issa Rae in Bathing Suit is "VERY Outside"

Issa Rae is a lot of things. She’s a brilliant writer, actress, and showrunner, best known for creating the series, Insecure. (For which she was just nominated for Emmys!) She’s also become a fashion icon, and her most recent post on Instagram proves it. Rae posted a series of photos and videos of herself in different locations, and in one wears a swimsuit. 1. She Goes To The Spa

Rae has amazing skin, and many fans have wanted to know her secrets. She revealed to POPSugar that she likes to get spa treatments done as often as possible. "I do love facials. I go to the spa a lot. I love the spa. That's something I never got to do before, and now I make it a routine."

2. She Takes Care Of Her Skin

Rae tells Page Six Style that she has started to really take care of her skin in recent years. “This is the first time that I’m consistently using sunscreen when I go outside. I am cleaning, exfoliating and masking a lot, so I’m just trying to keep my skin stress-free.”

3. She Gets Her Steps In

Rae revealed some of her wellness secrets to Women’s Health. She says that she loves to walk and run. “My neighborhood has a bunch of hills, so it’s walking up hills. Then I alternate between walking and jogging. I hate jogging—you’re going in circles, but I recognize that it helps.”

4. She Has A Supportive Team

Being a showrunner, Rae has to have a lot of supportive people around her. In her Women’s Health interview, she encouraged others to do the same. “Find a good team. Find a good team. It matters.…It’s enabled me to not lose my mind.”

5. She Moisturizes

Rae tells Allure that she makes sure to keep her skin hydrated and moisturized. "I moisturize a lot, all over because, again, I'm a very dry person in general and I just find that as long as I'm moisturizing my skin, it helps the glow," she says. Rae also revealed her go-to moisturizing product. "I use Dr. Sturm Products, like the hyaluronic serum. That has worked wonders."
