1

She Loves To Dance

Knöll dances before pageants and competitions to get in the right head state. "I enjoy dancing, not just for the sake of having a fit body, but also for its calming impact on me," she says. "Consequently, I will probably dance as much as I can until the pageant in order to reach the mentioned state of calmness."

2

No Cosmetic Surgery

Knöll says her curves are down to genetics and a healthy lifestyle, not cosmetic enhancement. Working out glutes are important, experts say. "Strong gluteals are important for proper pelvic alignment, propulsion during walking and running, and even standing on one leg," says Amy Koch, MPT, COMT. "Gluteals also help support the lower back during lifting, and help prevent knee injuries."

3

Inner Beauty

Knöll focuses on inner as well as outer beauty. "I think, my joviality and sincerity, is what actually makes me beautiful, and what should make everybody beautiful," she says. "I don't think I would really change anything. Everything, thick and thin, is what made me the person I am today."

4

Watermelon Snacks

Watermelon is Knöll's go-to healthy snack. "Did you know watermelon has more lycopene than any other fresh fruit or vegetable?" says Kristi Wempen, RDN. "Lycopene is an antioxidant linked to decreased risk of cancer, heart disease and age-related eye disorders."

5

Confidence From Mom

Knöll says her mother is her role model and taught her self-acceptance. "In my opinion, femininity is made of the right amount of elegance and sophistication combined with character and the way one feels about themselves," she says. "The most treasured female figure in my life is my mother, definitely. She made me confident and taught me how to love and appreciate myself the way I am."
