1. She Eats Healthy Most of the Time
Jana eats healthy, but doesn’t deprive herself. “I personally think everything in moderation,” she explained in an Instagram Q&A. “I had a chocolate chip cookie last night. I will eat another one tonight. I don’t think you should deprive yourself of anything. I think, eat when you are hungry. But all-around diet is how I do it.”
2. This Is Her Exact Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner

Jana detailed her daily menu to The New Potato.: “Two eggs over easy with some avocado toast and fresh squeezed OJ,” she said about her first meal of the day. “I’m not much of a lunch girl, but I snack throughout the day – apples, cottage cheese, carrots and hummus, almonds…I’m always snacking. I love a good hearty dinner: Salmon with risotto or a strip steak and a sweet potato with a kale salad. Okay, now I’m hungry!” She is also a big fan of nutritious drinks. “My perfect smoothie would consist of kale, spinach, cucumber, parsley, lots of ginger and lemon. I love all salads, but my favorite would be a Kale Caesar,” she added.3. She Sweats, A Lot
Jana exercises with Nashville based trainer Erin Oprea, doing workouts both in-person and virtually. “I work out with Erin two times a week,” she explained in one of her Instagram clips, doing “a ton of squats, sumo squats, lunges.” She also loves getting outside. “I love to hike outside. Recently, I’ve really enjoyed running again. I honestly find barre workouts overrated,” she told The New Potato.
4. She Works Out for Her Body and Mind

Jana clearly reaps the physical benefits of her sweat sessions, but also maintains the mental health perks are plentiful. “Still not feeling 100 percent,” she explained in a recent Instagram story. “But I'm still going to run it out, sweat it out." She also considers exercise self-care. “Working out for me is my sanity…Even just going for a walk, that is a place where I come back and I'm like, 'I feel good, I feel balanced. Working out is 100% how I stay level,” she told Us Weekly.
5. She Created a Gorgeous Exercise Space
Jana, who used to work out in her garage, recently unveiled her gym makeover. “It feels nice to work out in this space,” she wrote on Instagram when revealing the before and after. Having a space you enjoy being in makes you more likely to get your workouts in.
