She's Comfortable in Her Own Skin

Self-love and acceptance are all part of Jane's methodology. "There's an enormous freedom in having lived as long as I have. Like my father used to say, I'm comfortable in my own skin," she told Playboy. "I feel much sexier now than I ever did when I was younger.""I'm not trying to prove anything to anyone," she said. "When you're younger, it's all about 'look at me.' I'm not trying to get anyone to look at me."

She Does Isometric Exercises

Jane attributes her washboard abs to isometric exercises. "With isometrics, you're isolating and engaging the stomach muscles to strengthen them. It has given me really strong stomach muscles, and I have a longer, leaner look than before," she told Lifetime.

She Chases Her Grandkids Around

Jane recently told Grandparents.com her grandkids help her stay in shape. "The wonder of these small children makes you feel alive and needed. Spending time with them is all about unconditional love." She added to Closer, "They make me realize that I have to stay healthy because I can't wait to show them the world!"

She Does "The Perfect Workout"

Jane also swears by a workout method dubbed "The Perfect Workout." According to Jane, it involves "very, very slow weightlifting," she told Closer Weekly. "You only do 20 minutes twice a week. I notice a huge difference when I do it. Each exercise you do, you do it to fatigue so your whole body starts shaking."

She Eats Healthy

Jane strives for a high protein and fiber diet. "I don't eat too much starch…Mostly I eat chicken, a lot of vegetables. We grow a lot of vegetables in the garden organically," she told Closer.

She Doesn't Diet

"Everything in moderation, which, of course, is the hardest thing," she added to Closer about her eating rules. "Me telling myself I'm on a diet never works. Me saying, 'OK, I'm going to have a bite of this cake but I don't need the whole cake."

She Does Pilates

Another go-to workout of the star? Pilates. "I do it as often as I can. I have a machine at home but I would say … I'm filming at the moment, but when I'm not filming and I have time, I do it at least twice a week," Jane told Closer.
