1. She Journals

Brown revealed some of her wellness secrets to Byrdie. She says that she likes to journal on a regular basis. “I don't have something I do every day, but I'll tell you what I do regularly. Per The Artist's Way, you're supposed to do morning pages, where you stream-of-consciousness write for three pages. It helps get the morning trash out of your brain. I wake up every day with so much anxiety. Like, my first thought is, ‘I'm in a rush. I'm behind. What do I need to do?’ So I try to journal that out of my brain.”
2. She Does A Variety Of Workouts

Brown makes sure to stay in shape, and she likes to do a variety of different exercises. She revealed her favorites to Byrdie. “I like to hike, do yoga, or dance. If I only have 10 minutes, I'll turn on Robyn and Katy Perry and shake the anxiety out of my body. I have to do something to move every day.”
3. She Stays Hydrated

Brown tells Byrdie that she makes sure to stay hydrated, and that she’s made this a priority for a long time. “In the morning, I drink a lot of water. I learned that from my second-grade teacher. I don't know why that stuck with me, but she said, ‘Every morning, I drink 32 ounces of water before my coffee.’ Also, Oregon has the best-tasting water. People who say water doesn't have a taste have only ever had bad water, and I will forever stand by that.”
4. She Has A Simple Skincare Routine

Brown revealed to Byrdie that she has struggled with acne. She says that she is on a new treatment, and makes her skincare routine simple. “Last summer, I got on Accutane, and it's changing my life. Because of that, my skincare routine is just CeraVe products. I'm washing my face, putting on moisturizer, and applying sunscreen because you're supposed to keep your routine minimal while you're on Accutane. The side effects are a bummer, but I would do it for the rest of my life.”
5. She Wants To Improve On Herself

Brown opened up about her career to The Project For Women. She says that she always wants to feel like she’s gotten better and grown as a person. “I always want to be better. And I always want to be contributing to the world in the same way. Be it through art, politics, simply showing someone love, the desire to contribute wakes me up in the morning and lets me sleep soundly, sometimes.”
