Jenelle’s weight has fluctuated over the years and she is one of the many stars who have been trolled for her changing body. However, she now realizes that being skinny doesn’t equate to happiness. “Back in 2015 I started gaining weight and also I was being cheated on," she revealed in a TikTok, including some throwback photos. "And this is when I was feeling totally insecure and feeling like I needed to something about my body or I wouldn't be loved." She then shared photos of herself exercising. "So I started going to the gym. Like damn, I looked good... but was I happy? No. Was I trying to impress people? Yeah.” She then posted photos of herself looking skinny in a swimsuit. "Acting like I was living my best life, but I wasn't happy. Trying to be conceited once again but you know what? When you start living for yourself, this is when you'll be happy." She then shared photos of herself with more swerve to her curves. "Happy wife, happy life. Strut your stuff. Happier is better, and no, I'm not pregnant - just happy," she concluded.
2. Eat Healthy

Jenelle believes that eating healthier is the key to being healthier. “Eating healthier lately!” she wrote on Instagram. “Cut out a lot of fast food, soda, and bread. I haven’t been trying, but I am losing weight without working out!”
3. Focus On Your Mental Health
“Feeling great lately,” Jenelle added in the same post. “Focusing more on my mental health and body has been more than amazing and very rewarding in my opinion.”
4. Take a Hike
Jenelle also loves hiking. “Going into this hike I had no idea what I got myself into and I was too far up to turn back around. Def feel very accomplished to have finished this trail and also still be alive! Here’s to the scare of my life, the second picture shows my true emotions,” she captioned a 2022 post.

Jenelle has tried intermittent fasting, opting for the 16:8, which involves eating food during an eight hour window. In a 2021 TikTok, she says she drinks a cup of coffee in the morning, followed by a can of water a few hours later. At noon, she eats avocado with lemon juice. And then at 7:00pm, a real meal consisting of turkey and dumplings.
