1. She Keeps a Healthy Balance
“In order to stay fit and healthy I look at my diet. I try to eat as balanced a diet as I can, with some fruit, lots of veggies, avocados, plenty of protein – lots of chicken and eggs – and I make an effort to drink as much water as I can,” Falconer tells YourHealthyLiving. “I have an EasiYo yogurt maker which helps with the homemade goodness side of things and making sure I’m getting all that friendly bacteria. I struggle with sleep with my work schedule. I don’t struggle to get to sleep – I struggle to find a chance to get enough sleep as I’m up for work rather early.” Looking to add more yogurt into your diet? “Plain, nonfat yogurt is best,” says Julia Zumpano, RD. “Both original and Greek-style are excellent sources of protein, calcium and probiotics.”
2. She Keeps Temptation Out Of the House

Falconer doesn’t keep dangerous snacks in the house, as it’s hard for her to moderate if they are accessible. “I don't buy what I know I will eat,” she tells the Mirror UK. “I only buy biscuits [cookies] when I have guests because I know I'll scoff the lot in one go. I also love baguettes and ice cream, but because they're my vices I just don't buy them.”
3. She Loves Running
Falconer runs for both her physical and mental health. “I reckon I work out four to five times a week. It depends really on what I’m training for,” she says. “Currently I have a free schedule so I’ve cut back on running outside a bit. Instead I go to bootcamp classes or head to the gym. I might spend time on the treadmill. When I’m training for an event, I tend to run outdoors a lot more… Running is my thing. I think everyone has a thing! For me running helps me relax, have time out, think things through and makes me feel fitter, stronger and ironically wakes me up when I am shattered.” Running can be a great workout, even for beginners. “I think people have a love-hate relationship with running because it can be intimidating to start,” says Peloton tread instructor Jess Sims. “And to that I say, just start! Take some pressure off yourself. Start with two times a week, and then move to three or four.”
4. No More Dieting

Falconer has tried diets in the past and could never stick to them—so now her motto is to be sensible. “I think because I'm a woman I've pretty much tried them all,” she says. “I started the Atkins diet once but I didn't even last the morning. I forgot that you're not even allowed orange juice so I messed it up straight away. These diets are really difficult to stick to so now I just adopt the attitude of ‘eat less, exercise more’. If you start obsessing about food then you just feel hungry all the time. If you keep yourself busy, you forget about eating.”
5. She Does HIIT Workouts
Falconer enjoys incorporating HIIT workouts into her exercise regimen. “I’m doing exercises such as deadlifts to build my leg strength and increase my stamina, and I’m now lifting 80kg [176lb], which I think is quite a lot for me,” she tells Magzter. “I also do lots of HIIT training where Omar makes me do Skater moves 50 times or endless burpees and I’m like, ‘You’re joking, right?!’ I've always loved exercise and am very good at motivating myself, but I could never push myself on my own to work at the level he makes me do. Sometimes, I can barely make it up the stairs after one of his sessions!”
