Blanco stays hydrated in the summer by eating plenty of nutrient and antioxidant-packed fruit. "I have fought this heat with lots of fruits and lots of natural juices," she says. "I feel refreshed and it's not a sacrifice because I like them."

2

Red Wine

Blanco loves the occasional glass of red wine or Sangria, which experts say should be enjoyed in moderation. "Antioxidants in red wine called polyphenols may help protect the lining of blood vessels in the heart," says the Mayo Clinic. "A polyphenol called resveratrol is one substance in red wine that's received attention for its health benefits."

3

Sunscreen Always

Blanco is careful to always protect her skin from the sun. "Did you know that you have to wear sunscreen even if we stay at home and don't go out?" she says. "It's extremely important to always wear our sunscreen and choose one that suits our skin type, whether it's oily, dry or mixed."

4

Collagen Supplements

Blanco supports her health by taking collagen supplements. "Women experience a significant reduction in collagen production after menopause," says the Cleveland Clinic. "It's normal for everyone to experience a decline in collagen production after age 60."

5

Boxing Workouts

Blanco loves boxing workouts, which not only help build strength but burn calories too. Blanco also enjoys the stress relief from boxing. "The big thing about it is that I liked it, because apart from burning a lot of calories and helping me get fit, I feel like I can drain energy and discharge," she says.
