1. She Cooks Her Meals

Powell broke down her wellness routine in an interview with YourHealthyLiving. She says that she likes to cook a lot of her own meals. And she makes sure to make them from scratch. “I always make sure that we cook our meals from scratch,” she revealed. “I don’t use anything processed or ready-made.”

2. She Buys Organic Food

Powell makes sure to eat healthy. One thing she does is buy organic food. She tells YourHealthyLiving that she likes to support local markets and businesses. “We’ve got a great farmer’s market where I’ll buy grass-fed beef, organic chicken and organic eggs. I like to keep our food as fresh as possible.

3. She Eats Healthy

Powell revealed some of her favorite healthy meals to YourHealthyLiving. “I’ll start the day with organic porridge made with water and I’ll add in some raw honey, nuts, blueberries and chia seeds. I’m not great at breakfast so I have to make a conscious effort to eat it. I find that porridge really fills me up. At lunch time, depending on where I am, I might have some salad with cheese and olives or an omelette with spinach and bacon. In the evening we tend to have chicken or we might have a stir fry. I try to keep it quite basic."

4. She Does Yoga

One thing Powell does to stay in shape is practice yoga. She tells YourHealthyLiving, “I’ve just discovered yoga. I think when you’re in your forties it’s good to keep flexible and mobile. I really enjoy it."

5. She Wants To Influence Her Kids

Powell wants to be an inspiration for young girls out there, specifically her two daughters. She tells YourHealthyLiving, “If I am healthy and happy then so are my kids. I am desperate for the idea of living healthily to rub off on the younger generation. Being the best I can possibly be in work and play means taking responsibility for my own health and way of living.”
