1. She Loves Yoga

2. She’s On The “Body Reset Diet”

Simpson works with celebrity trainer, Harley Pasternaak, to help her stay in shape, and help her eat right. Pasternaak tells People that after Simpson gave birth to her third child, he put her on his “Body Reset Diet”, to help her lose weight. “It’s three meals and two snacks a day, and each meal has protein, fiber and fat, and snacks are protein and fiber or protein and fat,” he says. “She’ll have foods that are very flavorful that are healthier versions of things like a tortilla soup or Tex-Mex. And if she has a birthday party one night and a date night another night, she’s going to indulge both of those nights, but that’s it. It’s about balancing in a way that doesn’t make it painful or too much of a departure from your life before that.”

3. She Sets Goals

Pasternaak tells People that he doesn’t have Simpson use a scale in his work with her. He says that he has her set different goals for herself, which include a list of daily tasks. “My work with her is more about the habits she’s created and kept up. Every night before she goes to bed she sends an email showing that she hit all five tasks, so she’ll go to bed feeling successful. She’s hit her step goal, she’s eaten well, she’s balanced her responsibilities — so she can go to bed with a sense of fulfillment, and that’s everything. And as a byproduct of doing these habits, she lost 100 lbs.”

4. She Doesn’t Weigh Herself

Simpson said on the Today Show that she doesn’t like to weigh herself. Instead, she focuses on how she feels, and how her clothes fit. "I have no idea how much I weigh," she said. "Like, I just want to feel good and be able to zip my pants up. If I don't, I have another size. I have every size."

5. She Got Sober

Simpson is open about being sober, and celebrated four years of sobriety this past year. In a revealing Instagram post, Simpson reflected on her sobriety. She wrote, “This person in the early morning of Nov 1, 2017 is an unrecognizable version of myself. I had so much self discovery to unlock and explore. I knew in this very moment I would allow myself to take back my light, show victory over my internal battle of self respect, and brave this world with piercing clarity. Personally, to do this I needed to stop drinking alcohol because it kept my mind and heart circling in the same direction and quite honestly I was exhausted. I wanted to feel the pain so I could carry it like a badge of honor. I wanted to live as a leader does and break cycles to advance forward- never looking back with regret and remorse over any choice I have made and would make for the rest of my time here within this beautiful world.”

The proof is in her new photo of her in a swimsuit in a hanging chair, and captioned the photo "Texi Cali." How does she stay so fit? 1. She Worked With Two Trainers to Feel Like Herself Again

She worked with not one, but two trainers to shed 100lbs. Harley Pasternak and Sydney Liebes helped Simpson with her full body workouts multiple times a week for 45 minutes. After slimming down, Jessica decided not to focus on the scale. She dropped 100lbs in just 6 months, then stopped putting emphasis on the number. “I couldn’t handle being so big and my ankles were swollen. So I’m just happy to feel comfortable again. I was literally uncomfortable for so long that now it’s just nice to relax,” she said.

2. She Followed Her Doctors' Advice

Jessica Simpson Celebrates #1 New York Times Best-Selling memoir, "Open Book" at Dillard's - Nashville, TNJohn Shearer/Getty Images

She’s always worked with her doctor on what weight loss plan she should try. She enjoyed Weight Watchers, even acting as a spokesperson for them at one point. During her pregnancy, her and her doctor decided she would not be following the Weight Watchers plan while pregnant. They work closely on what’s best for Jessica’s health.

3. The Challenges Grew, But She Faced Them Head On

Jessica has fluctuated with her weight on and off for years. After each baby, it became that much more difficult. Pasternak helped her each time. “My mantra is you get lean in life, and strong in the gym. So the majority of the weight loss actually came from everything she did outside of the gym, and then everything in the gym is about toning and tightening,” Pasternak says.

4. She Cheats Here and There

Jessica is allowed to cheat here and there. “If she has a birthday party one night and a date night another night, she’s going to indulge both of those nights, but that’s it. It’s about balancing in a way that doesn’t make it painful or too much of a departure from your life before that,” said Pasternak. Jessica admits it’s been a lot of hard work.

5. She Enjoys Walking

One of the first things Simpson did to get to a healthy place after Birdie was born is start walking. It’s low impact and gets the body moving. She’d slowly increase her daily step count, aiming for 12,000-14,000. “If I haven’t moved enough, I’ll make sure and get in extra steps the next day,” she said.

Emily Simpson has been documenting her fitness journey and recently shared she's lost 40 pounds. The Real Housewives of Orange star posted a compilation video showing off her progress throughout the last few months and wrote, “Around age 42 I gained 40 pounds and it wasn’t until now (age 47) that I was able to finally get it off and feel like my old self again…,” She added “Just to be clear though… I rocked a bathing suit on TV for 5 years and never felt ugly or not confident in myself or my body. Not once.” Simpson contributes the weight gain to hormones and has worked hard to shed the unwanted pounds. Here's how the TV personality dropped the weight. Read on.

1. She Was Ready to Make a Change

In an interview with Us Weekly, Simpson shared that the reason for wanting to lose weight was that she didn't recognize herself. “We finished filming in November [2022] and I remember we filmed the title cards and our showrunner sent a photo of me that he took with his cell phone. And honestly, I didn’t even recognize myself,” she explained. “I was like, ‘Who is that?’ And then I was like, ‘Oh, that’s me.’ I really neglected myself those four months that we were filming. I ate too much, drank too much, didn’t go to the gym, didn’t work out and I felt really down, really depressed, really dark when we finished filming.”

2. She Hit the Gym

Simpson ditched some of her unhealthy habits and started working out more. “I cut out a lot of things and I go to the gym seven days a week and work out," she told the outlet. "I work out like I’m training for a fitness competition. … That’s kind of the whole story.”

3. She Took Ozempic

Ozempic,Insulin,Injection,Pen,Or,Insulin,Cartridge,Pen,For,Diabetics.Shutterstock

The 47-year-old admits to taking Ozempic to "jumpstart" her goals but said she didn't take it for long. “The thing that bothers me the most is that when people comment on the way that I look, they constantly say, ‘Ozempic, Ozempic,’ she told Us Weekly. "And it’s like, yes, I did use that nine months ago or however many months ago it was, but I don’t like that it discounts all the hard work I put in."

4. She's Consistent

Since starting her wellness regime, Simpson has been dedicated and consistently going to the gym daily. "I don’t care if you say that all you want," she emphasized, referring to her taking Ozempic. "But at least gimme credit for seven days a week, getting up at 6 a.m. every morning and busting my butt in the gym every single day.”

5. She Got Lipo

While Simpson has been making healthier food choices and working out daily, she did admit to having cosmetic surgery done. "The liposuction [in my arms] was helpful,” she told Us.

1. She Lost 30 Pounds

Emily has been very open with her weight struggles. In a November 2020 Instagram post she shared a before-and-after photo of herself after losing 30 pounds. “I never wanted to show these photos publicly because Im ashamed of where I let myself get, but here I am showing my transformation because I want to be transparent with you all. I worked my butt off to get here and Im so proud of how far Ive come and continue to go! I lost myself and my confidence through gaining 30 lbs. in one year in front of millions of people on a Reality TV Show. Here I am a year and a half later feeling sexy, confident in my own skin, and like the EMILY I am meant to be!” she wrote.

2. She Hired a Trainer

The first thing Emily did to lose the weight was hire a personal trainer, Paulina Taylor Hefferan, who she works out with at 6 a.m. three days per week. "Sometimes we become too overwhelmed with life, kids, depression, weight gain, hormones, relationships, illness etc ... but you have to start somewhere. Make today that day. A year from now will pass by regardless. Might as well make it your healthiest yet,” she captioned this Instagram post. "I have more work to do to get to my ultimate goal. "But I’m enjoying the journey and relishing in the successes."

3. She Doesn’t Weigh Herself

While she did admit to losing a lot of weight, Emily has revealed that she tries not to pay attention to the number of the scale. “Not only have I lost significant body fat and several inches, but I’ve gained a new found acceptance of my body. I don’t weigh myself very often because the number on the scale doesn’t define me as a person nor is it wholly indicative of progress. I measure my progress and Heath by other methods of measurement such as endurance, strength, how many times I can walk up the Salt Creek Hill in one day and how I look in my clothes. I’ve changed physically but most importantly I’ve changed mentally. I’ve learned that weight loss doesn’t have to be all in or nothing, you just have to do 1 thing better than the day before. The key to long term results is consistency and having someone in your corner cheering you on!” she revealed in this Instagram post.

4. She Drinks Water and Doesn’t Eat Past 6

Bud Light Super Bowl Music Festival - Red CarpetJesse Grant/Getty Images

Emily revealed her "best trick to help with losing weight” during an Ask Me Anything thread on Instagram. "[Don't] eat past 6 pm and drink lots of water," she said. "Try it for a week. You'll see a difference!"

5. She Doesn’t Count Calories

Grand Opening Of Veganic Nail SpaAllen Berezovsky/Getty Images

She also revealed in an Instagram Story (per Bravo) that there’s another number she doesn’t pay attention to. "I don't count calories...that's too much work for me. I just keep staples in my refrigerator at all times: ground turkey, spinach/lettuce, eggs, avocados, tomatoes, shredded carrots, black beans, corn tortillas, salsa [,] vegan cheese (I avoid dairy)...etc."

Simpson was a longtime advocate of the Weight Watchers, or WW, program, even appearing in several of their commercials. Simpson first started using the program in 2012 after having her first child, and lost 60 pounds. “I saw the results really quickly,” she told USA Today.

2. She Works With A Personal Trainer

After having her third child in 2019, Simpson worked with celebrity trainer, Harley Pasternak, to shed the baby weight. Simpson revealed on Instagram that while working with Pasternak, she dropped 100 pounds, and weighed 240 pounds while she was pregnant. “6 months. 100 pounds down (Yes, I tipped the scales at 240),” Simpson captioned the photo showing off her weight loss. Pasternak toldE! News that he worked with Simpson to make sustainable changes to her lifestyle. “It had to be more than just getting back from her baby weight, but how do I keep whatever I am doing now forever,” he said. “That’s why we are not a big fan of doing any extreme diet or radical forms of exercise.” Pasternak praised Simpson’s drive and commitment in the same interview. “We were kind of just getting in shape between kids and now it was sort of OK, I want to look fierce again and look great, confident and energized and I want to do it in a sustainable way,” he said. “That was her main goal.”

3. She Worked With A Dietician

Simpson also works with nutritionist Liz Josefsburg, on her diet and meal plans. Josefsburg told HollywoodLife.com about her and Simpson’s process on developing her diet. “She spent well over 6 months working off weight from her first and second pregnancies. She ate regular meals throughout the day. Usually three times and a snack. The key for Jessica was moderation and learning to indulge intelligently.”

4. She Gets At Least 10,000 Steps In A Day

Simpson makes sure to get her steps in everyday. Simpson’s trainer, Harley Pasternak, told E! News that one of the changes he and Simpson made involved increasing her daily steps to 14,000 a day. Simpson’s nutritionist, Liz Josefsburg, agreed. "Jessica loves to walk. She gets out almost every day to hit at least 10,000 steps. She loves it because she can do it anywhere, she can do it with her family and it helped her lose weight after every baby," she said to HollywoodLife.com.

5. She Stays Hydrated

Jessica Simpson Celebrates Her Memoir "Open Book" At Macy's Herald SquareKevin Mazur/Getty Images

Simpson tries to stay hydrated throughout the day, as recommended by her nutritionist, Liz Josefsburg. Josefsburg told HollywoodLife.com, “Hydration is a secret weapon for weight loss. In my book Target 100 I urge people to get in at least 100 ounces per day. Which might seem like a lot, but it is right for our bodies. Staying fully hydrated while losing weight is critical. Much of the overeating we do is mistaking thirst for hunger. If we can keep our bodies, which are made up of over 60% water, hydrated, they burn calories and metabolize food at an optimal rate!”

She Strength Trains

In her Instagram post, Sharvari is seen doing a strength training exercise. The Mayo Clinic says that strength training has a lot of benefits. “Strength training can help you manage or lose weight, and it can increase your metabolism to help you burn more calories. Strength training may enhance your quality of life and improve your ability to do everyday activities. Strength training can also protect your joints from injury. Building muscle also can contribute to better balance and may reduce your risk of falls. This can help you maintain independence as you age.”

She Does Yoga

Sharvari shares a lot of her favorite workouts on Instagram. One thing she likes to do is yoga. Sharvari posted this video of herself doing poses on her page. John Hopkins Medicine states that yoga is very beneficial. “Regular yoga practice may reduce levels of stress and body-wide inflammation, contributing to healthier hearts. Several of the factors contributing to heart disease, including high blood pressure and excess weight, can also be addressed through yoga.”

She Plays Padel

Sharvari likes to play padel to keep herself in shape. She shared this set of photos on Instagram of herself on the court. Playing padel has a lot of health benefits. Everybody Health & Leisure says, “It improves cardiovascular fitness, helps to build strength and endurance, enhances coordination and promotes overall physical and mental well-being. Not to mention, it’s a fantastic way to burn calories.”

She Boxes

Another thing that Sharvari does to keep herself in shape is box. She first picked this up when training for the film, Vedaa. She shared this set of photos on Instagram of herself punching a bag. She Runs

She captioned the post, “Decided to seas the day!” Better Health says that running is very beneficial. “Regular running or jogging offers many health benefits. Natasa Stankovic in Two-Piece Workout Gear Shares "Wednesday Challenge"

Stankovic shares her go-to workout moves, from squats to lunges, cardio, Pilates, and strength training.

Natasa Stankovic isn’t just a content creator—she’s a fitness inspiration. Known for sharing intense workout sessions on Instagram, she keeps her followers motivated with creative exercise challenges and dynamic routines.

In her latest post, Stankovic teamed up with Aleksandar Illic for a lower body blast, pushing through variations of squats and lunges. Dressed in a sleek two-piece workout set, she captioned the session, “Wednesday challenge,” proving that fitness is all about consistency and fun.

So, how does she maintain her lean, strong physique? From strength training to Pilates, here’s a look at Stankovic’s go-to workout moves.

She Does Squats

Stankovic does squats to keep herself in shape, as you can see in her Instagram video. Piedmont says that this exercise has a lot of health benefits. “Whether you’re hoping to tone your muscles, strengthen your core or just improve overall health, squats are one of the best exercises you can do. Although the movements appear relatively simple, squats can take time to master. Joel Hardwick, ACSM EP-C, EIM2, an exercise physiologist at Piedmont Atlanta Fitness Center, says practice will pay off…Hardwick explains that squats are a compound, multi-joint movement, which means they exercise several muscle groups. When you perform a squat, you work your calves, quads, hamstrings, glutes, core and part of your back.”

She Does Lunges

Stankovic is also seen doing lunges in her Instagram video. The Mayo Clinic reports that lunges are very beneficial to do. “The lunge is a body resistance exercise that works the leg muscles. Specifically, the lunge targets the quadriceps and the hamstring muscles in the thigh, the gluteal muscles in the buttock, and to a lesser extent, the lower leg muscles. The lunge is a great conditioning exercise for many sports, especially those that involve lunging movements, such as tennis, basketball or soccer.”

She Does Cardio

Stankovic likes to do cardio workouts to keep herself in shape. She shared this video of herself doing fast box jumps in different directions on Instagram. Stankovic captioned it, “Morning cardio challenge.” Cardio exercises have a lot of benefits. The Cleveland Clinic says, “When you work your heart and other muscles of your body during cardio exercise, this increases oxygen supply to your whole body, allowing all muscles to work harder and more efficiently. Over time, regular cardio exercise allows your muscles to adapt to an increased workload, making regular activities seem easier.”

She Does Pilates

Stankovic shares a lot of her favorite workouts in an Instagram story highlight. In some of the stories, she is seen doing Pilates exercises on a reformer. Pilates is very beneficial. The Cleveland Clinic says, “One of the reasons Pilates is such a good workout is that it specifically focuses on building core strength.”

She Strength Trains

Stankovic likes to strength train to keep herself in shape. She shared this Instagram story of herself using dumbbells. ACE Fitness says that strength training and using weights has a lot of health benefits. “Strength training with heavy weights improves muscle definition. Muscle definition occurs as the result of muscles remaining in a state of semi-contraction and heavy strength training recruits the larger type II muscle fibers responsible for a muscle’s appearance.”

Kim French in Two-Piece Workout Gear Shares "Real Results" Workout

Learn how she sculpts her powerhouse physique with deadlifts, lunges, squats, and more.

Kim French is more than just a personal trainer—she’s a fitness coach who empowers thousands through her Believe App and Instagram workouts. Known for her structured, effective home training plans, she proves that you don’t need a gym full of heavy weights to build serious strength.

In a recent Instagram post, French shared a glimpse of her at-home training, reminding followers that smart training delivers "REAL results." Rocking a sleek two-piece workout set, she showcased some of her go-to exercises, emphasizing that with the right strategy, anyone can see progress.

So what’s in her routine? From deadlifts to hip thrusts, here’s how French sculpts her powerhouse physique.

She Does Deadlifts

French is seen doing deadlifts in her Instagram post. This exercise has a lot of benefits. NASM says, “A Romanian deadlift is a hip-hinge pattern that works the hamstrings and glutes. It is a form of deadlift with noticeably less bend in the knee, leading to greater hamstring engagement than traditional deadlifts. The move was introduced to the masses in the 90s by Romanian weightlifter Nicu Vlad (an Olympic and World Weightlifting champion) and his coach Dragomir Cioroslan. The two invented the move to help Nicu strengthen his back for the clean and jerk. Today, RDLs are commonly used to strengthen the posterior chain, using the core muscles to stabilize and the hamstrings and glutes to drive the movement.”

She Does Lunges

Another exercise that French is seen doing in her Instagram post is lunges. NASM says that they are very beneficial. “The lunge is a versatile, simple and effective movement for lower body training. Various positions, planes of motion and speeds can all yield different training adaptations for the exerciser. Lunges are the gift that keeps on giving!”
