She Enjoys Working Out

Jessie opened up about her fitness in an interview with Women's Health UK. She says that working out is something she enjoys. "It releases endorphins—and I never really used to believe in that until I started working out. You do really get this sluggish feeling before a workout where you're like, 'Oh, I don't want to do it,' and you might feel a little low. But you do a workout, and it gives you that pickup. It makes me feel alive."

She Doesn't Eat Sugar

Jessie makes sure to eat healthy, and one thing she does is avoid sugar. "So four years ago, I cut out sugar from my diet to try and stop bacteria from building up in my body," she told Plant Based News in 2019. "Once I cut out sugar, I realised how much I began to enjoy food when it was good for me—and it was balancing out everything—my health, my moods, my sleep."

She Wants To Be Healthy

Jessie is motivated to be healthy. She tells The Huffington Post that she wants to educate herself on different ways to live a healthier life. "I am a point where I want to be the healthiest I can be. So, I know that there has been a lot of recent discovery that sugar is attached to dementia and brain disease and heart disease. I have heart disease and had a stroke at 17, so I am always trying to be up on my health knowledge."

She Does A Variety Of Workouts

Jessie shared some of her favorite workouts in her Huffington Post interview. She says that she does a variety of things to stay in shape. "I can do anything from SoulCycle to yoga to dancing. I love weight training because it means I gain weight, which is important for me. I do dumb bells and I do a little bit of Thai boxing, so I just kind of mix it up. I get bored easily since I am an Aries."

She Does What She Loves

In 2021, Jessie opened up about her process of songwriting and recording to Billboard. She says that she isn't listening to anyone's opinions but her own. "I just want to do what I love," she says. "And obviously, before this whole shebang, we had a year where we couldn't [due to the pandemic]. So I'm just trying to stay in good spirits, stay working out, make a diary of everything I'm eating. But I really don't know when it will be great."
