She Doesn't Love Working Out But Knows That's What it Takes

"Gonna be honest … I hate working out. I dread it," she wrote once. "I'm one of those girls that watches the clock and counts down to the last second when I can be done. I wish I enjoyed it. I wish I was a big workout junkie, but the truth is I just don't! With that being said … I do know that in order to achieve the strong body that I want to have and maintain I MUST put the hard work into it."

"Everything in Moderation"

"My health philosophy is everything in moderation. I've always practiced a healthy lifestyle. I'm not a big fan of 'let's do it for a week' type stuff. My family is very healthy. We watch what we eat and it makes a huge difference. I cook all the time, we rarely go out to eat. And when we go to the grocery store, we try to choose foods that are organic and dye-free," she told Parade.

Here's Her Take on Food

"I have coffee first thing in the morning—I drink a lot of coffee! When I get hungry I'll have a slice of toast with salted butter. For lunch I'll make something, I make a lot of turkey chili or lentil soup this time of year. In the spring and summer, it's a chicken salad. I usually always cook dinner. Last night I made a big family meal of bolognese with fresh arugula salad with homemade dressing and tomatoes," she told Parade.

She Had Some Insecurities After Giving Birth

"I'll be honest I still get insecure when I put a swimsuit on sometimes because of how much loose skin I have from my pregnancies," she began. "I worked really hard to lose all of my baby weight. Even gaining 55 pounds with my first. It's no wonder I have so much loose skin two out of the three babies were 9 pounds ? and I was one of those lucky ducks who didn't get one stretch mark because genetically I have super elastic skin but because of my big babies and gaining so much I was left with extremely loose skin," Jessie continued.

She Does Weight Based Workouts

"To maintain her toned physique, Decker relies on weight-based workouts. To begin her routine, she starts with 30 seconds of jump rope, high-knee running, ankle grabs, high kicks, lunges and lateral lunges, spinal rotations, and tension squats," reports our sister site Eat This, Not That!

She Can Make Her Muscles Pop

Decker changes up her diet depending on her goals. "I've got tons of muscle from working out and lifting so hard for the past year, but I felt like I couldn't see enough definition, so I wanted to cut some calories in some places just to see those muscles pop!" she said once.

She's Been Learning About Nutrition

"I always want to educate myself on new studies and new things that come around. Recently I've learned about food colors and dyes, and how your body can't process or break them down. But I'm big on being intuitive and paying attention to what works and what doesn't work. For example, when I eat ground beef, it doesn't really agree with me, but my body is just fine with a pork chop. As far as food goes and diet, everything in moderation. You can eat a chocolate chip cookie and have bread when it's in your bread basket. Food is conversation, and the heart of the home in my opinion," she told Parade.
