Cardio From Kids
Decker's kids keep her constantly active. "I'm kind of lucky because I'm running after three kids all the time," she says. "I get my source of cardio even if I don't have time to go work out! You're lifting them all the time. Your arms get super muscular from just lifting 30 pound kids all the time!"
At Least 20 Minutes of Exercise
Decker makes sure to get some form of exercise every day, even if it's just for 20 minutes. "My tip is to set an alarm to remind yourself every day to work out or be active for at least 20 minutes a day," she says. "Work out hard for 20 minutes or at least take a walk where you are walking intensely for at least 20 minutes. I know it's hard but just set your mind to it and carve that time out for yourself. You will feel so much better when you are finished."
Protein Snacks
Decker keeps protein sticks and jerky on hand for a quick, filling snack. "I try not to overact on the carbs side of things," she says. "You know, I'm a mom on the go! I'm a big protein and meat girl and it's the perfect go-to snack for me whenever I'm on the go. My kids even eat it too."
Resistance Bands
Decker's company Kittenish makes resistance bands, which she makes a point of traveling with for a quick, effective workout wherever she is. "We also just launched workout bands that are so easy to take everywhere with you," she says. "You can get such a great workout with those and they are so easy."
Keeping Skin Hydrated
Decker is always traveling, which can wreak havoc on skin health—luckily she has a system in place for when she has to fly. "Chapstick and my computer, and always wear leggings and sports bras when [I] travel," she says. "I want to be as comfortable as possible. I also always pack little snacks and face spray to keep my skin hydrated."
