1. Dancing Helped Get Her in the Best Shape of Her Life

Jessie may not have won Dancing with the Stars, but she scored her best body ever. "That was life-changing. To be honest, I'd never gotten in that kind of shape before, and I've always been kind of a workout nut. But I really enjoyed that fitness journey on that show," she told Fox News Digital.

2. She Battles Body Image Issues

In 2022 Jessie opened up about her body image struggles. “I’ve been battling some body image issues, and when I really think about it, I probably always have,” she wrote in an emotional Instagram post. “I go from one extreme to being obsessed with working out and being muscular to thin and just giving up and gaining because the food makes me feel better.” She described it as a vicious “cycle” that keeps getting “worse.”

3. She Does Her Own Version of Intermitten Fasting

While Jessie doesn’t call her eating method intermittent fasting, she doesn’t eat her first meal until 11 in the morning. “I eat what I want to eat within that time frame but don't overdo it," she explained to Women’s Health about her strategy, which mirrors 16:8 fasting. "The timing really is important to me."

4. She Cooks Her Own Meals

One way that Jessie ensures she and her family are eating healthy is by cooking. "We eat dinner every day between 5 and 5:30 p.m," she told Women’s Health. "We get creative." Dinners, like pasta, chicken tacos, gumbo, or lasagna, are made from scratch. Jessie doesn’t count calories. "When you're cooking at home and you know what you're putting in your food, I don't think you have to be that strict," she said. "I don't always think it needs to be grilled chicken over greens. A lot of times I make my homemade pasta so I know what's going in the pasta. It's not that challenging and it's worth it."

5. She Maintains Balance – Most of the Times

"There are some weeks when I'm following more of a strict diet because I have something coming up. But, you know, for the most part, I'm always enjoying food and I always say 'everything in moderation' on a day-to-day basis,” she told Women's Health about her approach to balance.

6. She Works Out

Obviously, Jessie is devoted to exercise. Her form of choice? Strength training. "I work out 3 to 4 times a week and they pretty much look like this with certain variations whether we're doing more upper body or lower body," she revealed in an Instagram post. Her typical workout session starts with 30 seconds of jump rope, continuing on to high-knee running, ankle grabs, high kicks, lunges and lateral lunges, spinal rotations, and tension squats. Next up? Overhead squats with resistance bands, medicine ball slams and tosses, medicine ball chest passes, medicine ball sit-up tosses, resistance band pulls, deadlifts, step-down exercises, weighted overhead presses, inverted rows, bent over kettlebell rows, weight plate steering wheel exercises, dumbbell rotations, and box jumps.

1. She’s Honest About Her Mental Health

2022 CMT Artists Of The Year - ArrivalsTerry Wyatt/Getty Images

Decker is open about her mental health struggles. She wrote about it in a revealing Instagram post. “I want to be open and honest. I have struggled the last couple of years. It’s up-and-down. There have been really beautiful, amazing moments but also some pretty low lows. The reason why I want to share this is because I think I got to a place where I was trying to hide my vulnerabilities because if I made everything look great all the time it would hide my internet struggles."

2. She Goes After Her Goals

In the same post, Decker talked about her goals and career plans. She says that she wants to do a lot of things, and isn’t afraid to go after them. “I’ve also been struggling with the challenges I face in my career. I’ve been wanting to be a country singer since I was 9 years old and sometimes, I feel like constantly in a battle with the rest of the industry to prove to them that I’m not just a TV personality or an influencer because that has outshines my music. As a woman in 2022, I don’t understand why I can’t have a family, publish books, own a fashion brand, be an influencer and do TV without being questioned if I take my music career seriously just because I’ve chosen to dream big.”

3. She Makes Time For Workouts

Decker has a busy schedule, but she also makes time for workouts on a regular basis. She revealed her secrets to CMT. “Carve out 30 to 45 minutes of time. At the end of the day, 45-minutes is really not that much of your time. I don’t love the excuses people provide, ‘I don’t have time to work out,’ or ‘I don’t need it.’ You have time to get a good workout in. Just do it."

4. She Searches For Workouts

2022 Watershed Music FestivalMat Hayward/Getty Images

Decker likes to do a lot of different workouts. She says that she likes to search for different tips and fitness routines to try out. She tells CMT that she uses YouTube a lot. “There are YouTube videos I will watch. There’s such a variety.”

5. She Calls Out Body Shamers

JJDJesse James Decker/Instagram

Decker isn’t afraid to call out haters. She called out body shamers on an Instagram post. "It's pretty awful, and I cannot believe this is still happening in the world,” she wrote. “That people are doing this. Yes, I have gained weight, 100 percent. I used to obsess over it. I tried to stay a certain weight, and most recently, over the past year, I decided to just let myself live."

3. Her Diet Is Protein Packed

In order to fuel her workouts, Jessie consumes a lot of protein. When she eats breakfast it will be a bowl of oatmeal or toast and coffee with cream. After her workout, she will sip on a protein shake. "For lunch, I will have 4 to 6 ounces chicken salad or chicken over rice," she explained on Instagram. "For dinner, I will either have a lean red meat, like flank steak with vegetables, chili from my book, or the same kind of thing—chicken and rice vegetables or my fit-enchiladas from my first book.”

1. Jessie James Decker

Jessie James Decker is a mother of three and feels all the better for it. "I feel like I have more energy now and I feel more proud of myself because I had two kids and know I really accomplished something,” she told Self. "Every woman has those days where she nit-picks herself, but I feel like there are not as many as there used to be."

2. Kendall Rae Knight

“When I was first came out it was crazy to just go to the supermarket and get recognized; it just wasn’t something I was used to. But, on the other hand, it opened so many opportunities for me that I just thrived from it. I mean, I came out of the show first after only a week – but myself and my team grabbed the bull by the horns. I was a Boohoo ambassador, I’ve done photoshoots aboard - it’s been non-stop,” she said about becoming famous after Love Island, to Grazia.

3. Nicole Kidman

"I run, ride my bike, do yoga, whatever I can do and wherever I am in the world," she told the Los Angeles Times. "We try to exercise as a family, which makes it much easier to squeeze in among everything else and, of course, much more enjoyable.”

4. Victoria Beckham

Beckham shared her workout of the week, which included strength training. “One strength-training tip: Don't forget to breathe freely when you're lifting the weight. Most people think that they're breathing when they're doing strength-training exercises, but they may be holding their breath. It's important to inhale and exhale fully between each repetition. The key is to avoid straining when holding your breath. You may find it helpful to exhale during the more strenuous phase of the exercise and inhale during the less strenuous phase,” says the Mayo Clinic.

5. Bebe Rexha

Rexha revealed she has felt bad about her weight. "I don't feel good in my skin and when I don't feel good, I don't want to post," she said. "And that's really honestly the reason I haven't been posting in the last year or so as much as I used to." But over the holidays, she shared some kindness about it. "To the person who is feeling down this holiday season, you got this and you will get through," she wrote in a tweet. "Sending you love."

6. Kady McDermott

“I love working out. Actually, in the last lockdown I went a bit crazy, I was doing like five or six sessions a week and I never normally do that, but I just genuinely really enjoyed it. I loved walking my dogs and making sure I have time off my phone. I get such headaches sometimes when I’m on it too much. I like doing little things like having a bath or a face mask, spending time with my friends,” she told Heatworld.

7. Nicole Scherzinger

Nicole is a protein eater, often starting the morning with eggs. "Eggs are an inexpensive source of protein, but they have many more nutritional attributes. Eggs are packed with B vitamins and vitamin D; in fact, whole eggs contain 6% of your daily intake of vitamin D which is difficult to find in food products," Meghan Sedivy, RD, LDN, Fresh Thyme Market's Corporate Registered Dietitian and Health & Wellness Strategy Manager, tells our sister site Eat This, Not That!. "Vitamin D helps with calcium absorption as well as bone and immune health."

Dani Elle Speegle in Two-Piece Workout Gear is "Just a Girl and Her Barbell"

Discover how elite CrossFit athlete Dani Elle Speegle stays in peak condition with weightlifting, golfing, jumping rope, hiking, and cold plunges.

Dani Elle Speegle isn’t just strong—she’s unstoppable. The elite CrossFit athlete and social media sensation has built a massive following by sharing her intense training sessions and inspiring fitness moments. Recently, she posted a series of weightlifting photos on Instagram, proving once again why she’s a powerhouse in the gym.

“Just a girl and her barbell,” she captioned the post, letting her strength do the talking. From lifting heavy to outdoor adventures, here’s how Speegle stays in peak condition.

She Lifts Weights

In her Instagram post, Speegle is seen lifting weights. According to ACE Fitness, doing this has a lot of benefits. “Using heavy weights increases intramuscular coordination, the number of type II motor units and the amount of muscle fibers engaged within a specific muscle. Have you ever felt your muscles shaking while lifting heavy weights? This is because you are recruiting and activating the larger type II muscle fibers, which are only stimulated to work when a muscle is challenged with heavy resistance or working to fatigue.”

She Golfs

Speegle likes to golf to keep herself in shape. She shared a video of herself on the course in this Instagram post. According to Randa aerobic exercise. “Golf can help strength and balance, improve quality of life and provide aerobic exercise. On a regular 18-hole course, most players will walk between four and five miles, burning up to 2,000 calories.”

She's Into Jumping Rope

Speegle shared this video on Instagram of herself competing in Crossfit events. In it, she is seen jumping rope. According to The Cleveland Clinic, jumping rope has a lot of benefits. “Benefits of jump rope can help improve your coordination, get your heart rate going and help burn calories — and it’s an easy, affordable way to get some cardio in.”

She Hikes

Speegle likes to hike to keep herself in shape. She shared this photo on Instagram of herself hiking the Koko Head Summit. Speegle captioned the post, “Woke up and chose pain today. Every 45 min X 3 rounds: Koko head 💀💀💀 Then sat in my car and stared into the abyss while munching on Banan 🥲🥲🥲”

She Does Cold Plunges

Speegle makes sure to recover. One thing she likes to do is cold plunges. Speegle shared this video of herself jumping into a tub. According to The Mayo Clinic, these have a lot of benefits. “Research on cold-water immersion has found evidence that it helps reduce the degree of exercise-induced muscle damage that can occur after physically challenging activities. Less damage leads to less inflammation, which in turn reduces soreness and helps restore physical performance the next day. These benefits may be the result of rapid constriction of the blood vessels due to the cold water. The cold can trigger responses in your body, such as decreased metabolic activity, alterations in hormone production and blood flow, and activation of the immune system.”

Golfer Tvesa Malik in Two-Piece Workout Gear Shares "Awesome" Exercises

Discover how Tvesa Malik, SuperSport Ladies Championship winner, stays in peak shape with weightlifting, core work, and golf.

Golfer Tvesa Malik in Two-Piece Workout Gear Shares "Awesome" Exercises
Tvesa Malik / Instagram

Tvesa Malik isn’t just a pro golfer—she’s a powerhouse athlete dedicated to staying in peak shape. The SuperSport Ladies Championship winner knows that strength and endurance are just as important as skill on the course. That’s why she takes her fitness seriously, incorporating weightlifting, core work, and mobility exercises into her training.

Last year, Malik gave fans a look at her workout routine in an Instagram video, where she powered through hanging crunches, lunges, and weightlifting sessions. She captioned the post, “Got some major work to do before my next session,” proving that even elite athletes are always striving to improve. Here’s a closer look at how Malik keeps her body strong and ready for competition.

She Lifts Weights

Malik is seen doing a lot of weight lifting in her Instagram video. ACE Fitness says that this has a lot of benefits. “Lifting heavy weights elevates levels of anabolic hormones—specifically testosterone, growth hormone and insulin-like growth factor (IGF-1)—which are used to repair muscle fibers damaged during exercise. This helps the muscle fibers to become thicker and capable of generating higher levels of force.”

She Does Lunges

Malik is seen shifting into lunges in her Instagram video. ACE Fitness says that lunges are a form of unilateral training, and that makes them effective. “Unilateral training is a more effective way to build functional strength (than using both legs) because these types of movement mimic other everyday motions, like walking and climbing stairs — and not just to the working leg. Research suggests the strength gains to the nonworking side are about half of the strength gains of the working side.”

She Does Core Workouts

Malik is seen doing core workouts, like hanging crunches in her Instagram video. Core workouts are extremely important. The Mayo Clinic says, “While it takes aerobic activity to burn fat in your stomach, core exercises can strengthen and tone the underlying muscles. Strong core muscles make it easier to do many activities. When your core muscles are strong, it's easier to swing a golf club, get a glass from the top shelf and bend down to tie your shoes.”

She Does Pull-Ups

An upper body workout that Malik likes to do is pull-ups. She shared this video on Instagram of herself doing them at the gym. Malik captioned it, “Got some major work to do before my next session.” Asphalt Green says that pull-ups have a lot of benefits. “Pull-ups are a fantastic way to improve upper-body strength. This exercise primarily targets your back and biceps, but involves many stabilizing muscles in your core, arms, and shoulders. Depending on the way you grip the bar, you can even work your chest. Plus, you don’t need any fancy equipment to do a pull-up. Tree branches, scaffolding, and even door frames are all places people can do pull-ups.”

She Golfs

Golf is obviously one of the ways that Malik keeps herself in shape. Better Health says that the sport has a lot of benefits. “Golf can be good for your health and your heart. Walking an average course for a round of golf can be between five to seven kilometres. If you walk 18 holes three to five times a week, you’ll get an optimal amount of endurance exercise for your heart. If you pull your clubs or carry them, you’ll burn even more calories each round and benefit even more.”

Camila Guper in Two-Piece Workout Gear Cheers on "Consistent Actions"

With 1.1 million followers, she inspires with workout routines and wellness tips.

Camila Guper in Two-Piece Workout Gear Cheers on "Consistent Actions"
Camila Guper / Instagram

Camila Guper is more than just a fitness influencer—she’s a motivation powerhouse. With 1.1 million Instagram followers, she inspires her audience with workout routines, wellness tips, and a disciplined approach to staying fit. Recently, she took to Instagram to share a glimpse of her latest gym session, including a stairclimber workout, a snapshot of her Apple Watch tracking her progress, and a post-workout mirror selfie in pink workout gear.

Her message? Consistency is key. “Don't underestimate the power of small, consistent actions! Every effort is worth it when you know where you want to go,” she captioned the post. From intense stair workouts to leg-sculpting exercises, here’s how Guper stays in top shape.

She Uses A Stairclimber

In her Instagram post, Guper is seen using the stairclimber. Stair workouts have a lot of health benefits. ACE Fitness says, “Improving metabolic health in terms of lower risks of heart problems and other complications, also by definition improves fitness. You can feel your heart working harder and the fire in your lungs when you ascend stairs. And that’s provoking important changes in your cardiorespiratory system that will make physical activities, like running and walking, feel easier.”

She’s Consistent

Guper makes sure to stay consistent with her workout routines. One way she does so is by staying disciplined. Guper talked about this in the caption of this Instagram post. “Good morning! May we always have the discipline to do what is good for us. Amen 💪🏽🙏🏽✨ 40 min stair + shoulder and chest workout today.”

She Does Lunges

Guper shared some of her favorite lower body workouts in this Instagram video. One thing she is seen doing is lunges. According to The Mayo Clinic, lunges have a lot of benefits. “The lunge is a body resistance exercise that works the leg muscles. Specifically, the lunge targets the quadriceps and the hamstring muscles in the thigh, the gluteal muscles in the buttock, and to a lesser extent, the lower leg muscles.”

She Does Leg Extensions

In the previous Instagram video, Guper is seen using the leg extension machine. Asphalt Green says that leg extensions have a lot of benefits. “These machines provide isolation exercises for your legs. This type of exercise works only one muscle or group of muscles, which means you can build up that part of your body quickly. If you want your thigh muscles to really stand out in those shorts you just bought, the leg extension machine is for you!”

She Spends Time Outside

Guper likes to spend time outside. She shared this set of photos on Instagram of herself enjoying a day by the pool with her dog. Guper captioned the post, “Good Morning! What book are you reading? 📖💚🐺🌮 I'm loving reading How to become super natural! I'm already sharing saying it's a must-read.”
