1. Only Healthy Food In the Fridge

Nelson makes a point of filling her fridge with nutritious foods to avoid making unhealthy choices. “Don't buy any bad foods because it will just tempt you,” she says. “Only have healthy things in your fridge, then you won't eat any bad stuff. Have a picture - if you've put on weight and there's a weight you want to get back to or a way that you used to like looking, have it as your screensaver. Try and go to the gym as much as you can."
2. Appreciating Herself

Nelson has learned to embrace her body and her curves, but admits it’s not always easy. "We're all different shapes and sizes and that's what makes us unique,” she says. “I'll never sit here and preach and say I love my body because I don't, but I'm slowly starting to just accept it for what it is and sometimes I'm gonna put on weight and sometimes I'm gonna go to the gym and lose it, either way girlies one day we will be really old and look back at our pics and think god, I was actually banging, why did I worry so much. Anyway I'm rambling on now but you're all beautiful in your own ways and I hope you all know that."
3. Dancing Workouts

Nelson’s former bandmate Jade Thirlwall says dancing was the group’s everyday exercise. "We dance a lot, so that's our main exercise,” she says. “Me, Jesy and Jade try to go to the gym as much as we can. I tend to go in hard when I know I'm going on holiday and I've got to get my body out. Three times a week, but I'm gonna have to go in [this time] because I haven't trained for six months. It's ridiculous. I'm off the bandwagon."
4. Dealing With Body Image Issues

Nelson has worked through a lot of insecurities since her days in Little Mix. “I'll never sit and lie and be like ‘Oh, I'm so happy now, I don't have any insecurities!’ as that's an absolute lie,” she says. “I still have my insecurities, I still have my struggles… I guess the thing that I'm better with now is that I see little things now when I do a music video, I'm not looking on the camera and thinking, ‘Oh my God, I don't look as skinny as Jade, Anne and Perrie’.”
5. Working Out With Trainer

Nelson says she thrives while working out with a trainer. "When you literally feel like you can't go on,” she says. “I have to have a trainer that's shouting at me. I can't have someone that's like 'you're doing really well', I need someone who shouts at me."
